"Hostel located in a good spot, with lots of food options and Old Town not too far away. Downsides: - Encountered multiple times when there’s no water while showering or using the tap which is very inconvenient. Not sure what’s the problem but it ought to be fixed - WiFi connection was intermittent at times, sometimes losing connection"

Hotel near Phuket Town,Phuket
Renovated in 2026, the iCheck inn Phuket Town offers both holiday makers and business travelers a pleasant stay in Phuket. From the hotel, Phuket International Airport is approximately 33km away. Phuket International Airport is the closest option for those who prefer to fly, approximately 33km away. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Erawan Buddha, Ancient buildings in Sino-European style and Shrine of the Serene Light all nearby. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. This Phuket hotel features parking on site. Our guests rate this hotel as one of the best hotels for cleanliness.

"This place was surprisingly great! Honestly, the location isn't bad at all; it's not too far from the main tourist areas. Renting a motorbike is definitely the most convenient way to get around. There's a 7-Eleven right next to the hotel and a Tops daily across the street. Plenty of restaurants nearby too; the Khao Rang rice porridge was delicious. If you walk a bit, you'll find famous spots like Go Benz, Jok Samui, and Neung Nom Nua. If you have a car, it's not far to Chum Cha Market or Naka Weekend Market. Or, head down the hill and you'll find Frans x Thongsmith, Rommanee Alley, and Phuket Old Town easily. Speaking of the hotel itself, parking might be a bit of an issue for cars, but you can usually park along the roadside. The rooms have been newly renovated from the old hotel (Sino Inn). They're spacious, the air conditioning works perfectly, and the water pressure is strong. There's a big fridge, which is handy for storing things. The bed and pillows were soft, though the towels had a strong bleach smell. They don't provide many amenities apart from shampoo and shower cream, but for the price, it's fair. The balcony is wide and offers a view of Khao Rang hill. Overall, I'd give this place a 9/10, especially considering the price I paid."

My initial thought on this accommodation business is in some ways positive. If it is viewed purely as a 'hostel' with an associated coffee shop, then it definitely has attributes (and I'll come back to those later). But if taken at face value on the basis of its tariff cost and amenities, both real and indicated, then there are several problems with it. The first is the way the premises is represented on the Trip com platform. Photographs of the double bedroom include one of a bathroom. The attached text description and its context makes the plain implication that the room has an ensuite bathroom, which it does not. If little scrutiny is applied when reading the description, this fact will escape the readers attention. Anyone looking to make a reservation quickly can easily be misled (inadvertently?) into believing that this is a 'hotel' style room. Many hostels do offer rooms with ensuite bathrooms after all. The bathroom is communal and is inconveniently located on the ground floor. Rooms are above this. A second related criticism is the room size description - 18 m sq is quoted. The room has dimensions of 3 x 3.5 m. That is, about 10 m sq ! Although late February is still peak season in Phuket, it has to be said that the room tariff of almost $60 AUD per night is exorbitant. It may be considered acceptable for a 18 m sq hotel style room, given the circumstances, but a room of this kind at this particular locality ought to be offered at a lower price. Having said this, I concede that the reservation was made late and in haste. Now onto the good things. The 10 m sq double bed room has old but high quality wooden furniture which serves its purpose well. The air conditioning is responsive and strong There is a large kitchen next to the bathroom/wash basin (trough). It's equipped with a large fridge, sink, cutlery etc as well as a coffee maker ( + ground coffee). A delicious banana cake was offered to guests. Clothes can be washed and dried via a coin operated machine. Other attributes include the woman owner/ manager who has a professional approach and an attitude very well suited to the hospitalality jndustry. The coffee shop also makes decent coffees and ham n cheese croissants.

Pros: Great location, helpful staff, simple breakfast provided. Cons: 1. No elevator, and the latter half of the stairs are open-sided, which is something to consider if you have a lot of luggage. 2. The bed had bugs, lots of ants, basically felt like I was sleeping with them. 3. There's a night market right below. The sign says it closes at 10 PM, but one night they were still singing past 11 PM. Other times, it wasn't even open. 4. The shower water pressure was too low, and the temperature wasn't hot enough. 5. The air conditioner made noise when changing the fan mode, and on the last day, the cooling effect was poor. 6. They charged extra for an additional blanket in a double room, and later I found bloodstains on it...

Quiet, tidy, and clean. Each of the four floors has a common area. Showers are convenient, and there's a place to hang laundry on the fourth floor. The price is very reasonable, just a few tens of yuan, and it even includes a freshly prepared breakfast. The location is great, right next to the Big Golden Dragon in Phuket Town. This is a hostel that really impressed me. I'll definitely come back here.

The location is very convenient, with a 7-Eleven right downstairs. At night, there is live singing downstairs, sometimes quite late. Not sure if it’s only on certain days, but light sleepers should take note. The bed space is fairly spacious, and each bed comes with 4 hangers, a small lockable box for valuables, and access to large luggage lockers. However, there is only one power outlet per bed. My room has 8 beds in total and a small common area, though it feels a bit unmanaged and more like a storage space. On the 1st floor, guests can use a fridge, water dispenser, microwave, and enjoy free snacks like biscuits, bananas, coffee, and tea. The shower area is on the 3rd floor, which is convenient, but the water pressure is weak, and the toiletries are quite basic. Overall, this is a budget-friendly hostel in a good location, suitable if you don’t mind some noise and simple facilities.

My first time staying at a deck dorm style. The manager was willing to come, and did check in for me in the middle of the night. Do the 200 Baht refundable deposit. Give me the towel. Informed me to the rule of no sandal/shoes at 2nd floor to maintain the floor kept clean. That is all you can see. Nice room, chill, no noise in the room, and other ”I am sleeping” rules. If you have an issue of not using sandals in the bathroom, then honestly you just need a hotel with a private room. Yeah, upper deck was scary. I dreamt of falling down 😪 Well, deck dorm style is not just for me. But a good experience here, and with 217 Baht (including tax) I paid, it is worth the money. This hotel provides breakfast too. Something I don't really expect 😁😁 They also give me a key gift over a checkout. For sure, I get my 200 Baht back.

I absolutely loved this budget-friendly hotel! The staff were excellent, and the cleaning was good. They provide beach towels at the reception upon request. I checked in quickly in the evening and they took a deposit which was later returned. I stayed in a room on the 4th floor with a partial view of the mosque. Neither the street noise nor the calls to prayer ever bothered me. I had a fantastic time, thank you all so much! There are local cafes near the hotel offering affordable American breakfasts, as well as plenty of shops. I enjoy walking and exploring, so I had no trouble getting around or walking to the sea. Wishing everyone good luck and happy travels!

Good clean and neat all facilities available I stayed at this hostel for four days, and I really liked it a lot. The hostel is very clean, neat, and well-maintained. It offers many facilities, which made the stay comfortable. For hot water, they have a water dispenser that provides both hot and cold water. Tea, coffee, and sugar are also available for guests. Overall, almost all necessary facilities are provided. The only thing missing was a toaster, but everything else was very good. The hostel is clean, the environment is pleasant, and it is located close to the main road. It is also very near to the airport—you can even walk to the airport. I personally walked to the airport and back, and it was very convenient. I really liked the place, the atmosphere is clean and friendly, and I would highly recommend this hostel to others. If you are looking for a place to stay, I recommend staying here. I rented one bed, staying two days first and then another two days.

Located between two bars, the door has the Sundiva logo on it to help guide you. I think most people who come to Sundiva have trouble finding it because of its small entrance, but it gets wider once you go inside. Great place overall!

It was a very good trip in the hostel. The location is perfect, very close to several night market, to the grossery, a lot of good restaurants and cafe, from 5 minute to the old town and very close to the pier to go to Phi Phi Island.  The personal is also very kind and helpful !
