Homestays in Phuket

This is a great place for *** travelers. Ulf and Boy are very nice and welcoming. They will answer any questions you have about Phuket, its *** scene and more. The place is definitely not new, but everything is clean and well-maintained. The guests are friendly and open-minded. They only have 5 rooms (so 10 guests at a time), so it is not busy and the guests could get to know each other well. The rooms are quite small, but with the 24-hour pool, the sauna, and the Saturday night dinner party, it is unlikely for you stay inside. It may look remote, but it actually only a few minutes by car/bike from the old town and the beach. There are also local and mid scale restaurants nearby. I will surely visit this place again.

Very comfortable and beautiful hotel with warm and thoughtful service. Excellent location. The swimming pool is great. Next to it is a Thai massage shop, restaurants, supermarkets, and very close to Rawai Beach. I will stay here again next time!

Excellent location of the apartments, beautiful views from the windows and, if there are balconies, a view of the bay. There were two adults and two children aged 3 and 16 at the end of August and the beginning of September. The rooms are spacious, the beds are large and comfortable for two, cots for babies are provided. The shower is combined with the toilet and is not fenced off on the floor with a border, because of this the water spreads all over the floor, of course it flows down, but the floor remains wet for some time and you have to use the toilet on a wet floor. The living room has everything for cooking: a microwave, oven, stove, kettle, as well as a washing machine, refrigerator. There is a good communal pool. The descent to the sea is by stairs, which I think for older people and those with problematic legs is quite steep at its beginning. The staff is excellent and responsive, you just need to ask and they will do everything. And so excellent housing for those who go to ”everything is off” and do not look for minuses in the holiday, a quiet, not a party place, no nightlife, food in local cafes, unlike other places, is significantly more expensive, and the beach is the best in Phuket for holidays in the off-season and with children, a wide strip of beach both at low tide and at high tide, good entry. Compared to Karon, Kata, Patong (many from there come to this beach for the whole day) at this time it is quiet here, you can swim even in a strong wind and rain.

A pleasant hotel, clean rooms. Soul hosts. Breakfasts are delicious, cooked specially for every guest on the menu. A large fruit plate for breakfast. The room is very conveniently equipped. The bedroom is separately, in the living room is a large sofa and kitchen. The hotel is on the beach of Bang Tao, but also near Surina, we walked for 20 minutes. Thank you for your care!

This is a hotel apartment owned by a personal landlord. Not recommended, not very good 1. If there is no front desk, you need to contact the agent via WhatsApp to get the key. 2. You need to pay a deposit of 3,000 plants to the cleaner! Water, electricity and gas are not included, and you have to pay an additional 800 yuan for room cleaning. The room is not cleaned every day, only after check-out. It’s really a bit of a trap 3. The room is on the second floor, which is actually equivalent to the first floor. The sewer smell in the bathroom is so bad that we can't live in it. I didn’t even ask to change rooms. 4. It’s dark and humid behind the balcony, with no sunlight I won’t stay here again next time!

For the price, the room was great. It is 10-15 min walking to the beach. There is a 7/11, restaurants, a sport pub, billard pub and massage next to it. 10-15 min walking to the night market even if no really safe as along the big road to go there. The bed is confortable. Curtain let the light go inside… had lot of ants inside. Even found a huge cockroad in the room when was in he last floor! The furniture and wall are used but was not an issue for me. Good hot shower even if then you can’t go to toilets as the floor will all wet. There a construction site just next to it so it is noisy during the shake, sometime the flat was checking strange but truth. Also you can hear the road really noisy during the day but night time it is ok except if noisy motobike. They kept my bag at reception on the last day so was nice, it is 10-15 min walking from the bus stop to go to airport but be ready to spend 1h30 in the bus and no 50 min like they said but 2€50 bus compare to 20€ taxi. The beach is nice with sunbed but I think surin beach next to it is better. I enjoyed the flat as was big and lot of facilities but nothing in the kitchen to cook or eat just a sink, had a kettle and a fridge and a hairdryer but was just too noisy for me :( the wall are like paper as could hear my neighbor coughing and tv all day. Still would recommand it for a short stay and low budget. Receptionist were nice, they offer services but didn’t use them.

We didn't expect anything out of the ordinary from this hotel, but some things really upset us. More on that below. 1) The voucher and hotel description indicated slippers in the room, which were not actually there. When we contacted the owner of the hotel (an elderly woman), we received a response that the hotel does not provide slippers, and the indication in the description of this option was purely trip.com's own initiative. The question arises, what prevented the hotel from misleading customers and sending a request to correct the information about the hotel to the booking service? 2) An awkward window in the wall between the room and the toilet with a shower. The glass does not hide anything, the upper part is open. You can see what is happening in the toilet from the room. There is no privacy at all. I am attaching a photo. 3) Upon arrival, the balcony was dirty, we had to clean it ourselves. The top shelves of the closet were also covered in dust (in the photo). 4) The most unpleasant thing about the hotel is its owner (the already mentioned woman). The person is completely lacking customer focus, desire to make contact and find an option that suits the guest (moreover, one that does not impose additional obligations on the hotel and is completely within the bounds of common sense), banal rudeness: what is the owner's statement worth: ”if you are not satisfied with something - move out” (hearing this while on vacation is very unpleasant). Finally, from the good: there are beach towels.

Уютный и приятный отель! Жила в нём 3 ночи. Есть тостер, тарелки, столовые приборы, чайник. Ванная и Сантехника в хорошем состоянии. Особенно мне приятен был фильтр на душ и большая лейка в душе😄 постель большая. Есть лампа, создающая уютный вечерний свет. Номер выходил на дорогу, но это не сильно напрягало. Хотя с первого взгляда я думала, это будет проблемой. Женщина на «ресепшен» (потому что его как такового нет😁) чуткая и отзывчивая, хотя по-английского почти не говорит и не понимает. Гугл переводчик в помощь 💪🏼😃 Можно брать маты для пляжа беспоатно в аренду с возвратом. Зонтики на случай дождя тоже есть. Заметно стремление создают комфорт проживающим гостям! Рекомендую! Рядом 7/11, рынок, храмовый комплекс, кафе, массажный салон.

Excellent apartment, the case when reality exceeds expectations 😄 the room was on the 4th floor overlooking the jungle. All kitchen utensils, hair dryer, iron, new huge TV. On the ground floor there is a fitness room and a swimming pool. Plus there's a gorgeous cat on duty. 5 min walk to Surin. The apartments are very well located, for the price the quality is excellent 👍 I recommend room 401

This guesthouse exceeded my expectations beyond words. I judged it prematurely because of the price but my room was very big, it was squeaky clean and it actually looked nice. I also had a TV that I actually used, a kettle to make my coffee, an iron to press my clothes and a mini bar fridge. My room also had a balcony. The location is perfect. About 8 minutes walk to the beach (DON'T use the main road if you're walking, it's dangerous with no side walks and further. Use the backstreets). There are bars, restaurants, currency exchange offices, laundromats, ATM's and spa's everywhere you look. Had I known how much I would enjoy this place I would have stayed much longer. The staff at Sure Guesthouse is also very friendly, professional and helpful. Lastly, if you are not driving or using a motorbike, don't you worry, Grab and Bolt work very well here. I was using Grab to go to faraway destinations but then I switched to Bolt because their prices are almost 1/3 of Grabs prices. Cons: It gets a little noisy at night (cause of the bars and nightlife), but not so bad that you can't sleep. Also, there isn't a lift so you have to use stairs (this was fine for me cause I was eating ALOT so I needed the stairs, but I know some people don't like that and should probably ask to get a room on the 2nd floor when booking. Overall, this is a great place to stay for anyone of any age especially considering the price. If I ever come back to Thailand, I will definitely stay at Sure again.
