5-Star Hotels in Phuket

We chose the Renaissance Phuket for our summer family 'lie-flat' vacation. The pros: new facilities, clean and tidy, five-star service, and good restaurant food. The breakfast was also excellent, with a chocolate fondue for the kids. The hotel has its own private beach and a Starbucks. While its location is north of the airport, getting to the city center can be quite expensive. However, the hotel offers a free shuttle to the nearby Turtle Village, which has a commercial area with restaurants and a 7-Eleven. The local Pizza Company there is also delicious. For families with kids, you can book an elephant sanctuary online, which includes pick-up and drop-off. If you have a bigger budget, you can also opt for the Nemo dolphin show and swimming with dolphins, but that dolphin attraction is in southern Phuket, which is quite a distance! In summary: the hotel is new, clean, and well-designed. If you're looking to relax and unwind, definitely go for it. The last picture was taken after we checked out.

The staff here are all very friendly and extremely enthusiastic. We especially appreciate Rach's proactive and friendly service. Although the lobby is a bit far from the rooms and we had to call the front desk every time we went out or came back, the shuttle service arrived very quickly and never delayed us. Even when we returned late, there were always staff members on standby to drive us back to our room immediately. The hotel provides shuttle services to and from the Old Town and Central Festival. It would be even better if we could take the shuttle to the Old Town and then be picked up from Central Festival on the return trip. The room was spacious, clean, and the air conditioning was excellent, though the water pressure was a bit weak. The hotel environment is quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax. I would definitely want to stay at this hotel again!

Phuket's top choice! I picked this place because I didn't want to deal with the hassle and sun exposure of island hopping, and it was absolutely amazing. The room layouts are very well-planned, and the overall resort vibe is fantastic! When checking in, there's a separate reception area where they go through all the hotel details with you in a very attentive, almost 'kneeling' manner. We stayed at The Surin before this, and this place is even better! The service is also exceptional! It's truly a great spot to just relax and unwind. Wow, I'll definitely be back!

I stayed here ten years ago. Perhaps due to some Chinese superstitions, there weren't many Chinese guests, and breakfast was primarily Western-style. Of course, the room facilities can't compare to newly opened hotels in China, given that this is an established resort. Aside from that, the resort ambiance was fantastic. On the day we checked in, which was my child's birthday, they thoughtfully sent a birthday cake while we were out – a nice little surprise. The hotel is situated in a quiet yet central location in Patong. The pool is huge, offering expansive views directly facing the sea. On clear days, you can watch the sunset from the pool. It's separated from the beach by just a small road, making it very convenient for beach activities or simply relaxing. We stayed in a swim-up room for two nights, which felt more like a private pool. However, with kids, we preferred the main pool, mainly for the better views. We basically spent our days by the pool and evenings at the beach. There's a good massage place and restaurant right by the hotel's main entrance. They're next to each other, and the restaurant, belonging to the neighboring hotel, has a trendy, Instagrammable vibe and is popular with many foreigners. If the hotel breakfast isn't to your liking, you can have brunch there; we ate there several times and also had massages for a few days straight. This trip, we stayed in both Karon and Patong, but next time, I'd only choose Patong – it's much more convenient for going out and exploring.

This stay was fantastic, perfect for families with kids! The room was spotless, with no dampness or strange odors at all. The sofa could be converted into a sofa bed, which was incredibly practical for a family stay. I highly recommend booking our room type – you get direct access to the pool from your balcony door, making it super convenient for a dip. The hotel's kids' facilities are excellent. My child had an absolute blast, constantly wanting to go challenge the slides. Parents can relax on the loungers nearby while keeping an eye on them. The location is superb, offering a quiet retreat despite being close to everything. The beach is right outside, there's a 7-Eleven just by the entrance, and a 'Let's Relax' massage branch is nearby, along with various dining and entertainment options. It's incredibly convenient for food, fun, and getting around. Overall, it was a wonderful vacation experience. We didn't get enough time this trip, so we've already decided to choose this hotel again next time we're in Phuket!

Our family stayed from September 3rd to 9th, 2026. We booked a loft and ended up on the 6th floor with a view of the road and the mountains. What can I say, the hotel is super! The bed linen was snow-white, and the towels were fluffy, new, with bright yellow ones specifically for the beach. We were there in the off-season, so we had the whole pool to ourselves. The sea was a bit choppy, but we still swam. About 500 meters from the hotel's beach, there's a calm cove with no waves. A boat takes you to the beach, everything is clean, there's a foot shower, and hotel sun loungers. The room was clean, the shower was fresh with no mold or stains, and bottled water was provided. Overall, we are super happy!

Excellent hotel! My child attended many workshops and activities. The staff are caring and attentive, huge thanks to them. There are plenty of sun loungers by the pool, always a spot to relax, and an excellent bar with delicious cocktails. The housekeeping is top-notch; our room was cleaned twice a day and the bed was made. The hotel has a very convenient app with all the information you need, and you can even order extra necessities to your room. I ordered an additional pillow and there were several different types to choose from. The breakfasts are excellent, and on certain days, there are seafood dinners. The buffet includes oysters, crab, shrimp, and hot dishes, all for 1250 baht. We will definitely be back. This is one of the best hotels for our vacation ❤️

A luxurious trip! The hotel seamlessly blends into nature, offering constant views of blue skies and white clouds, with butterflies and birds fluttering by. You can also catch the sunrise. The accommodation is beautiful and spotless, with a wealth of resort facilities. I wish I could have stayed a few more days!

My family and I stayed at La Green Hotel for two months, and it was a wonderful experience! The hotel completely met and even exceeded our expectations. From the very first day, the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel like family. A huge thank you especially to Maxim, the Russian-speaking manager at the reception – he helped us with absolutely everything: from check-in and daily practicalities to advice on local places and transportation. Thanks to him, we quickly adapted and felt right at home. When our daughter fell ill, the hotel thoughtfully brought chicken broth to our room. And for our daughter's birthday, the hotel beautifully decorated the room and brought a basket of fruits and a cake as a gift. This was especially valuable when being so far away from home. The rooms are clean, cozy, and regularly cleaned. Everything you need is there: air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a washing machine, and a comfortable bed. The grounds are green and well-maintained – the hotel's name perfectly matches the atmosphere: lots of plants, quiet, peaceful, a true oasis. I want to specifically highlight the breakfasts – always fresh, delicious, and varied. There are Asian dishes, as well as familiar European options: eggs, toast, fruit, and coffee. It's a great start to the day, especially when you're staying for a long time and want a proper breakfast instead of having to search for a café in the morning. The location is excellent: there are several cafes nearby, a 7/11 store where you can buy everything you need, and the beach is not far, with a shuttle taking you there every 30 minutes. At the same time, there's no noise or hustle and bustle – ideal for a long stay. Over two months, I didn't encounter a single serious problem. The value for money is top-notch. We booked a pool-view room, and it was great. The layout and design were very good. Although it's not huge at just over 40 square meters, it was quite comfortable for two adults and one child. The front desk and concierge staff were all very polite and had warm smiles. The breakfast spread was extensive and served until 11 am, which really added to the holiday vibe. There weren't many Chinese guests. My husband commented that at breakfast, you could see people of different skin tones, confirming that the hotel was indeed full of international guests. To be honest, the pool isn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate for the kids to play in for two days. There's also a small sandpit next to the pool. The biggest surprise was the kids' club! It even had a ball pit and tons of toys. Our child's favorite place each day wasn't the pool, but the kids' club. The staff there were very responsible; they'd confirm with parents whether each child was allowed to leave on their own when entering, and required a sign-in and sign-out every time, which made us feel very secure. Free bicycles were also provided, so you could cycle to 7-Eleven for supplies. Of course, there were some downsides. The beach waves were indeed quite strong, so you could only splash around by the shore. It's also true that it's far from town; 7-Eleven isn't within walking distance. To get around, you either need a taxi or a bicycle. There are also wild massage parlors next to the hotel beach offering massages for 500 baht an hour, as well as two Thai restaurants. They're more expensive than outside but cheaper than the hotel, and the food was decent.
