GGuest UserďżźWe loved the overall experience as a family of four. It was only a short boat ride from Phuket. Although the beach was small, there was a private pool in our villa which we loved. We swam in the private pool when it was sunset. It was so pretty. ďżźďżź
The majority of the staff was also incredibly friendly, with almost every service available 24/7.
Impressed by the friendliness of the staff at Naka Island Hotel. None of them went past us without smiling and greeting us, and almost everyone we met was ready to engage in little conversation to help us settle into the environment. It was so chilled all around, the surroundings and the accommodation, our nerves were rested for a good few days. Beautiful local excursions also available. We went on a little hike to Tad zoo beach which proved to be a little of an adventure because of the 30-min arduous walk for the kids. Once there, not only did we enjoy the beach chilled atmosphere, we got on jet skis with some discounts to the hotel prices too. Upon return to hotel, we jumped into the private pool overlooking the beach at sunset. An amazing experience hard to forget.
Breakfast was exquisite. It had the blend of modern western food and local Thai food. The noodles were delicious, broth was excellent. Got a shoulder and back massage free of charge at the entrance to the veranda restaurant (breakfast restaurant) - knowing how much it would cost, it made my day. Would recommend the Muay Thai to anyone seeking a workout with a touch of Thai culture. The instructor was friendly and funny. He identified my daughterâs talent in the sport. When we go back to HK, I will have another perspective to work on.

AAnonymous UserThe resort isn't very big, a rectangular area, and the villa section takes up a significant portion, so there's limited space for activities. BUT! There's a beautiful, uncrowded beach, haha! The coastline is very long, which is a huge plus.
The rooms seem to have been renovated; they're a mix of new and old. For instance, some of the bathroom fixtures are clearly old, but the doors, windows, and furniture look new. At the very least, the grout and wall seams have been redone and look pristine. The air conditioning is incredibly efficient, and the room is well-insulated â even after being out with the power off for half the day, it's still chilly when you come back in. The room provides a clothes drying rack on the balcony for dripping wet clothes and swimsuits, which is a thoughtful touch.
However, the BBQ buffet dinner, which costs over 2000 THB per person, doesn't include any basic beverages, only water. The BBQ items are so few you can count them on one finger, non-BBQ items on another finger, and desserts/fruits on a third finger. There were only two or three seafood options. My child is sensitive, so after removing what they couldn't eat, spicy dishes, and disliked flavors, there was almost nothing left! Can you believe we couldn't find two dishes they'd dare to eat from the entire buffet?
The breakfast selection is much richer than the dinner buffet, and it's only a quarter of the price... but the dishes were exactly the same every day. After two days, we started missing 7-Eleven. This isn't some isolated island with supply difficulties; would it be so hard to come up with more rotating menus? Please offer more variety for guests staying multiple nights.

GGuest UserI would like to say thank you for Noku for the birthday arrangements and also the kind service from the staff; I do not like complaining but I do have to raise up my issues as I do believe there can be massive improvements in the hotel and how they handle issues ($550USD for two night stay)
- I booked a HILL VILLA KING; I requested prior to arrival that I wanted a certain view and they replied we will try to the best of their availability (which is totally understandable)
- When I arrived the service was good and they were very kind and again I appreciated the birthday setup they did in the room
- After I checked in ROOM H11; which I saw was weird was there was 2 separate bed bases; and using common sense I thought why would a KING bed have 2 bed bases
- After trying to sleep at night I noticed that it was actually a 2 twin beds put together which explains the two separate bed bases; during the night the bed moved in the middle (with obvious two twin beds and the line in the middle) the bed sheets did not fit because it was two twins and they gave me two separate blankets (it was me and my girlfriend) so it is weird having two separate blankets
- I went to explain my situation to duty manager (AM is his name) he was very nice but very inexperienced I must say; I went to the front desk and I said âhi may I know what type of room I bookedâ then they said âking bed Hill Villaâ I said perfect then I said I would like to speak to a manager (they knew what I was going to say)
- When AM came out he did not let me speak he just talked and said sir because you requested for a nicer view we gave you this room and because the king bed broke which is why we put two twins together. I asked if that is the case why did you not inform me at check in? He said oh we did not im so sorry; let me change your room for you and I will send a fruit plate as apology (TBH I donât want a fruit plate I can easily get one for $2USD anywhere in Thailand) I said please I had lunch yesterday which was around $25USD pls waive that for me as courtesy and everything would be fine. AM replied of course thatâs not a problem sir (I THOUGHT everything was resolved) not sure if he did not understand but I spoke slowly in English due to the language barrier
- We went to my new room at night and saw the fruit plate (thought it was a bonus) room was better and was a king bed which is what I wanted. I go to check out the following morning (I DID NOT HAVE TO) they do not take a deposit which is weird because I signed a lunch to my room so I could have just left. I met AM again and he showed me the map of the whole hotel; Pointed at H11 and you can clearly see that the room has two twin beds (So the BED was not broken they just put me in a twin bed combined into a King) He said yes lol not sure why because its not what he said yesterday that the King bed broke. Then he said oh sir you do have a lunch that you had to pay for (Yesterday he just said yes no problem I will take care) now I need to pay for it; I said did you not say you will take care of it he replied âsorry sir because this is another departmentâ To me its one hotel; how you deal with costs internally is not my problem ( I WAS NOT GOING WRITE A REVIEW BUT AFTER THIS I HAD TO)
- Also just to add First day breakfast I asked for (ICE THAI COFFEE) they said they do not have and interesting as im in Thailand all hotels have this but it was fine; BUT the breakfast colleagues said at afternoon session they have so I said no problem! But one of the staff offered âsir tomorrow morning we can offer if you would likeâ I thought amazing thatâs service; next day I went âSIR WE DO NOT HAVE THAI COFFEEâ after the disappointments above I gave up and adding to the bill not being waived which is a fraction of the cost of the room I gave up
- All in all this hotel tries to be âhigh endâ but there are many improvements that can be made

AAnonymous UserOur room was on the second floor and had direct pool access from the balcony, which was fantastic. The room itself was very spacious, and the bed was large and super comfortable. It even had a microwave, which was a nice bonus. However, the breakfast wasn't great â very limited selection and not tasty at all. On the plus side, the hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the beach, which is really convenient.

SShenchendejianziThe room was fantastic! I felt the Deluxe Seaview Room was even better than the Romantic Room, with an unobstructed sea view. It was a bit close to the road, but they thoughtfully provided earplugs, which was a nice touch. I couldn't book a continuous stay, but the hotel helped move our luggage when we switched rooms, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance! The views are beautiful, and breakfast was delicious too.

GGuest UserThe front desk service was warm and friendly, with staff proactively greeting guests and responding quickly. The location is relatively quiet, and it costs around 200-500 Thai Baht for a taxi to tourist attractions. It's in the same complex as a residential area and is heavily Russian-influenced, with very few Chinese tourists. This could be challenging for guests who rely on English, as they have Russian-speaking staff, but that's not the main issue...
1. The key card system has a bug; you can only get a maximum of two cards. If you try to get more, even the original ones stop working.
2. You're limited to six filtered water bottles at a time; if you request more, you won't get them.
3. Room cleaning isn't daily; it's done every two days.
4. The bedside power outlet had poor contact and needed to be repaired twice. It was finally fixed by noon, otherwise, charging devices would have been a hassle.
5. Some power switches are loose, and the sliding door makes a noise. Light sleepers should be aware of this.
6. Most importantly, there's a serious design flaw with the bedding. The mattress is smaller than the bed frame, and my family and I repeatedly bumped our knees on the bed base. I even got a significant bruise, though thankfully it went down the next day after applying an ice pack.

BBrigitte CissThe service was friendly and very helpful for every request. The beds were comfortable and the food (we had breakfast and dinner at the hotel) was very decent. The pool area was dreamy with a great view.
Sadly some things made the stay a bit less comfortable: the bathrooms had a sewer smell that wouldnât go away. The air conditioning temperature in the room was extremely low and didnât change when we tried to bring it up, as if it was stuck, so at night we were freezing.

Hhellenxiao831Reading other reviews made me a bit nervous at first, but after checking in, I found it to be absolutely wonderful. The hotel was very clean, and the Thai-style gardens and pool were fantastic. Plus, the hotel is right on the beach â just a short walk from our room, which was incredibly convenient. My child loved it so much they didn't want to leave!
The only downside is that there's nothing much outside the hotel; it's a bit isolated. So, if you're looking for a relaxing hotel stay with family fun, this place is perfect. There are a few restaurants by the sea, and the prices are quite reasonable. It's really great! I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.

CCassia garofaloThe chalet is really very good: spacious, beautiful, and with an amazing view. It has all the kitchen utensils, although we didnât use them, and it was extremely clean. I definitely recommend it.
The only slightly inconvenient point is the location. The chalet is located at the top of the property, so you need to rely on the reception to arrange transportation to the main area, where the reception and beach access are located. Itâs not possible to walk down, as the distance is quite far.
For those who rent a motorbike, this isnât an issue and everything becomes very easy. However, without your own transport, it can be a bit uncomfortable having to depend on the hotelâs shuttle whenever you want to go down to the beach or leave the hotel.
