Marriott Hotels in Phuket

I did some research beforehand, so I had a general idea of the room layout. However, I was surprised that the hotel didn't replace the disposable slippers daily; they weren't changed once during my 4-night stay. There were no toiletries for kids either, which is really disappointing for a family-friendly hotel. On the bright side, the private beach is beautiful, and my kids absolutely loved the pool, spending all their time in the water. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, and even the nearest 7-Eleven requires transportation to get to.

Rooms 10/10. Spacious and clean, good air conditioning, super comfortable bed and pillows. Didn’t like the food at room service much, maybe the products are of high quality but the cooking could be improved. However, the breakfast was great as you have plenty of options to choose from. Didn’t feel very welcomed as one night guest during check in process, wasn’t provided breakfast time,location etc. I can say there was no service at all, I had to ask questions, ask for help with luggage etc. Later, I met a man at the reception who was very nice and kind, if not him - the overall impression of the hotel service could be disappointing.
