📍 PLACE 16 NOVEMBRE, Bd Mohamed Lyazidi, Quartier Hassan, Rabat
★★★★★ 8.4 (42 reviews)

"The hotel is in a very good location for business. The staff are very nice and quick to respond. The main thing that was a little uncomfortable was that there aren't very many restaurants near the hotel. Apart from that, my trip ended with because of them."

"We made a reservation for one night by phone at this riad, and upon arrival, we learned that it had not been taken into account. The riad was full, and to top it all off, no one answered the phone. This is not very professional for a tourist establishment."

"The hotel's restaurant atmosphere was very nice and the rooms were larger than many of its rival hotels. It was also very advantageous to be within walking distance of the train station."

Hôtel Mercure Rabat Sheherazade

Hôtel Mercure Rabat Sheherazade

"The breakfast is average and the room is small, but it is within walking distance to Hassan Tower and the mausoleum, which is still an advantage."

"Our first stop in Morocco, I was impressed with the details of workmanship in our room. Small quaint, friendly, good breakfast and dinner. Loved the medina, i say this now that we have been in 4."

Riad Khadija Mille et une Nuit

Riad Khadija Mille et une Nuit

📍 Medina of Rabat, Rabat Medina, Rabat
★★★ 8.2 (44 reviews)

"The riad's beautiful common area truly feels like a museum. But it's designed in such a way that you only enter it once, to fill out the check-in paperwork, take a photo, and then pass by. The location is good, not on the main streets of the medina, but close to the sights. There was almost no street noise. No breakfast. It was a waste of money. The room itself is authentic, with antique furniture, but completely uncomfortable. The room itself is tiny. You can hear it as if your neighbors were talking right in your room. There's very little storage space. The floor is old tile. The shower is also old, the plumbing needs updating, the sink leaks, and the toilet lid keeps falling off. There are no towel racks in the bathroom; the towels themselves are clean, but frayed at the edges. The service is nonexistent. It consists solely of staff who open the door for you and then check you in. Even if you arrive at 1:00 PM, you won't be checked in until 3:00 PM, even if the hotel is empty. The staff speaks very little English or French. The hotel is abysmal, but we and another group were put in rooms next door. When we complained about our neighbors' loud conversations at night, the hotel staff only said, "Arabic, Arabic," and offered no help. This hotel is more about the experience than comfort. So, if you do decide to stay here, here are a few tips to improve your stay. Bring earplugs and a sleep mask; your own toiletries; and your own slippers to shower in. If you're traveling in winter, bring warm pajamas, as the room gets cold."

"I was really disappointed from the stay in the hotel it started from the check-in while the night receptionist wasn't professional at all while I'm talking to him he's sitting and sending voice message on Whatsapp without showing any respect, there's no towels in the room at all I tried to call the reception the room phone was not working, the AC not working as well,I suggested the place for my colleagues but unfortunately was the worst thing to do specially that we all know how the hotels should be."

Hotel des Oudaias Hotels in Rabat

Hotel des Oudaias

"Opened over 100 years ago and does look a bit faded however staff all friendly and welcoming. Our bedroom also looked a bit faded but local furnishings, a very large and comfortable bed plus a very pleasant sitting area with a balcony. Unlike so many hotels there was plenty of space in both the bedroom and bathroom to lay things out. The plumbing was questionable and the water not always piping hot. Breakfast was Moroccan: orange juice, olives, yoghurt, potato pancakes, pastries and bananas. The location between the kasbar and medina was very satisfactory and one could easily catch petit taxis from outside the hotel. "

"It is a small and simple Riad in a rather nice location in Medina. Overall, I have found it quite sweet and cozy. Staff is nice and polite as well. However, I was very disappointed by the false advertisement on the bookings.com . I have booked one of the more expensive places in its category to have nice Moroccan experience. On purpose I have booked a Delux room. Only to find out when I have arrived at the place that it is nothing that the description promises. It was a small, standard, basic and a rather dark room, with none of the upgrade attributes that were promised. I asked the staff for an explanation but they just said that it is a small Riad and this was the biggest room they had. It feels like I had fallen to a false advertising, which made the whole experience rather tainted."

"A beautiful hotel. My room was bright and spacious and spotlessly clean. Breathtaking views from the terraces over Wadi Bou Regreg and Rabat. I must apologise for not recalling the name of the wonderful lady who provide me with two excellent breakfasts, a great deal of assistance in other ways, and for tolerating my ineptitude when using the front door key!! Very highly recommended."

"Stay here. Very nice riad, exactly in the middle of Medina, which made it easy to get to everything. Breakfast was v good and pool was refreshing. TV with YouTube was a bonus. Very comfy bed and pillows were great. "

"This is a beautiful property. Everything from the room to the terrace and pool is lovely. The service, however, just felt cold. We arrived here following another Riad visit in which the staff did everything they could for us, so perhaps the lack of warmth seemed greater by comparison. It just didn’t feel like Moroccan hospitality. "

"This is a beautiful and convenient place to stay in Rabat. The entrance is right by the street so our tour guide dropped us off directly in front of the riad and we didn’t have to walk a long way. Our tour guide preordered beef tajine with prunes for dinner before we arrived, and it was the best tajine we have had so far in Morocco. We also had Moroccan Za'alook Salad which was very flavorful and we scooped it up with the homemade bread. George served us dinner and spoke English well. Our room had a sitting area with a couch and the bathroom on the lower floor. The bed was up a flight of stairs, but there was no railing on the outside, so I was a bit nervous about waking in the middle of the night (thus the reason for the 4 rating). We left the bathroom light on to light our way in case we woke up. The bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was filling - we had omelettes with yogurt and fruit and Moroccan pancakes."

"The hotel has a slightly historic feel, and the service is very warm and welcoming. The rooms are quite large and each has a balcony. The downside is that rooms facing the main road can be a bit noisy."

"Love the architecture and design of the Riad. The staff showed great hospitality. The only issue here is bathroom. It’s impossible to share a bathroom for 4 ladies. Perhaps, put in disposable shower caps and hotel slippers. I hope Fes Luxury Tour will look into this matter. Thank you. "

"I stay in this hotel every time I come, I'm used to it. The service is no problem and we can communicate in English. clean. The rooms are random. After the first time we stayed, the rooms were super big, but the rooms we got the next few times were smaller. Each room type is different. Just make do with breakfast, after all, there is nothing delicious here."

"The hotel is not as described. We were charged double tax even we had paid for it at the time of the booking. We were told by the manager he would look into it but never did. The reception staff was not helpful due to limited understanding of English. Lack of bath mats and hand towels throughout our 5 day stay. Definitely not the stars they claim to be."
