Excellent
Εε(*・ω・)_/゚::☆Fantastic location! It's close to the airport, high-speed rail, tourist attractions, and a shopping complex right next to Hang Lung Plaza and the municipal government building. The area feels very safe and secure, and the value for money is excellent. The room layout is clean and spacious, and the service is super efficient – they respond within ten minutes. Ordering takeout is a bit of a hassle as you need to take two elevators, but I guess that's a trade-off for safety. The bathroom has a really nice design. 🌃 After celebrating Christmas at the lobby bar, soaking in the tub, munching on some chicken bones, and downing a bottle of Ba Wang Si soda was just absolutely perfect!

1118185****This stay was a far cry from my visit in March this year. Both times, I booked Executive Club rooms primarily for the lounge access to relax. 1. **High Deposit**: For a three-day stay, they charged a 6500 RMB deposit. I found it quite high and double-checked, but the front desk staff was unhelpful and curt, simply stating it was hotel policy. 2. **Insufficient Water**: On the day of check-in, there were only three 350ml bottles of water. By 6 PM, I ran out and had to resort to drinking tap water from the bathroom. When I returned in the afternoon, the water situation hadn't improved, so I called housekeeping, and they brought two 500ml bottles. The next day, it was the same story! I even had my cold and fever medication laid out in the room, yet the staff didn't think to simply provide more water, like six bottles straight away? 3. **Slippers**: Yes, when I came back on the second day, I needed new slippers because the ones from the first day were completely soaked after our shower, but no fresh slippers were provided by housekeeping. 4. **The Embarrassing Afternoon**: On my third day, I decided to extend my stay for another night. I informed the front desk about this at 2 PM that afternoon. What followed was a truly embarrassing and frustrating afternoon. I explicitly told the front desk that I had a cold and a fever, needed rest, didn't want any fruit or anything, and just wanted to sleep. That afternoon, housekeeping staff brought water, slippers, and fruit in three separate trips. I was running a fever and desperately wanted to sleep, but I had to keep getting up to answer the door! I then realized I hadn't pressed the 'Do Not Disturb' button (not blaming the staff, but I had already clearly told the front desk I didn't want fruit and just wanted to sleep), so I immediately activated DND. At 5 PM, I thought I could finally get some sleep. The moment I drifted off, the front desk called, asking if I wanted to check out, extend my stay, or refresh my key card, etc. (Don't your systems track this?!). At that point, I just wanted to go home!!! The Front Office Manager's approach to resolving the issue was quite subjective. During dinner at the restaurant, I was given a hotel cartoon mascot as a 'solution.' When she called, she did express apologies for these issues and offered me a discount of just over 150 RMB (which I believe was the difference for the executive lounge when I mistakenly extended to a different room type for the fourth night). She clearly had no idea about the embarrassing experience I had that afternoon. The next morning, still running a fever, I had to listen to her lecture me. That's when I decided to write my first truly serious negative review! I hope the hotel ensures they always have enough water and slippers ready! What's the point of charging such a high deposit?

11DaydreamLovely experience. The staff were helpful, I arrived early and they managed to give me a room. The breakfast spread is amazing! It’s right in front of the subway station and I could walk to the theatre opposite, which worked out really well as I was there to attend a concert. There was even a little rooftop garden at the restaurant level. Didn’t have time to use the amazing fitness facilities. Would love to stay again.

EE2366****I booked rooms for my bosses this time, and as soon as I submitted the order, I received a proactive message from Lynn. Her prompt response immediately put my mind at ease! What surprised me even more was that she specifically arranged both of my bosses' rooms on the 21st floor, a high floor. Not only did they have bright, open views, but the two rooms were also very close to each other, making it convenient for them to communicate. She even considered such small details for us, which was incredibly thoughtful and saved us a lot of hassle! Later, when we unexpectedly needed to extend the stay, I just mentioned it to Lynn, and she quickly helped me coordinate everything. The whole process was efficient and smooth. After checking in, both bosses gave feedback that the rooms were comfortable and the arrangements were considerate, all thanks to Lynn's attentiveness. We might have similar booking needs in the future, so please keep an eye out for us!

GGuest UserThe disadvantage is that you don't need to swipe your card to take the elevator, which is not safe and convenient. I originally wanted to deduct one point, but my children like this hotel, so I give it full marks💯 The hotel is a bit remote, so you need to drive or take a taxi🚗 The beautiful women in the concierge department are very serious and responsible in their work, patient, meticulous and thoughtful

GGuest UserThe service at the Renaissance Shenyang was excellent. The gentleman who greeted us on the first floor was incredibly welcoming and had a great memory. He even remembered my visit last year. Du Miao, the front desk clerk at the check-in counter, was particularly attentive. He proactively asked for my preferences and helped me adjust my lake view and upgrade my floor. Among Marriott's hotels, Sheraton feels more business-like, while Marriott offers traditional luxury. The Renaissance offers both luxury and personal touches, paired with excellent service that makes you feel right at home. Some highlights: 1. There's a Starbucks coffee shop in the first-floor lobby, with discounts for in-house guests. 2. The bed was very comfortable and larger. Hotels like InterContinental are typically 1.1-1.2 meters wide, while the Renaissance's is 1.35-1.4 meters wide. 3. This hotel is a bit far from the city center and close to factories, so rates are higher Monday through Friday. Weekend discounts are available. If you're driving or have a car, this is a great value option.

XXibeiyixi2017The best hotel in Shenyang, hands down! Excellent value for money and a superb location. I'm officially hooked on the Westin! 🔒 My colleague recommended the Westin for this business trip, and it totally lived up to the hype! A huge shout-out to Crystal from Guest Relations! ✨ She's the epitome of beauty and kindness! From the moment I checked in, I felt her warmth and enthusiasm. She helped us coordinate everything throughout our stay with incredible efficiency and the sweetest smile. If you have any questions, she's your go-to person – a walking encyclopedia of local knowledge! Thanks to Crystal, what could have been a dull business trip turned into a wonderfully pleasant experience. I'm now a huge fan!

DDorothy ZhengI booked this hotel for my friend who was visiting Shenyang. It's conveniently located near Wu'ai Market, making it easy to get to Zhongjie Street, the Imperial Palace, Marshal Zhang's Mansion, Xiaoheyan Morning Market, and Caitia Night Market. Taxis are also readily available. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and the complimentary cookies at check-in were delicious. The room was spacious, bright, and quiet. Breakfast the next day was also excellent, with a wide variety of choices. My friend was very satisfied.

--zuowodemao- Excellent location: the hotel is right next to the subway entrance, with many convenience stores and restaurants nearby - Intimate service: the front desk took the initiative to upgrade the room type, and Manager Zhao at the front desk gave welcome fruit. The housekeeper cleaned very carefully every day. - Extra highlights: The night view from the room platform is super beautiful, and the freshly cooked noodles stall for breakfast is worth a try. - Advantages: Affordable price, lobby decoration has a sense of design

Sszc33275****The room facilities are complete. My child was participating in a chess competition here. I stayed here for one night to rest. It felt good. The breakfast bread was good. The only thing I felt uncomfortable about was that my son was charged 88 yuan for breakfast. I said that a child over 1.3 meters tall should pay the full price, but later they charged half the price. The service staff at the restaurant entrance needs training. They can't tell how old the child is! 1.5 points for service!
