Rayong City Hotels with Wifi

Since we were traveling as a family and wanted to stay together, we ultimately chose this hotel. The service was truly excellent; the staff were very attentive and had a great attitude. We also tried the restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the food was good and reasonably priced. In the evenings, there was a fire dance show. The hotel has a private beach with clear water and soft sand, which our kids absolutely loved. You could even see many fish in the sea. The hotel isn't on the main street, so it's about a 35-minute walk, making it quite quiet. I'd recommend renting a scooter. For going out at night, walking along the beach feels safer. Our family had a very relaxing vacation here!

Compared to the second night at The Tamarind, where the prices were similar, the facilities were vastly different. The Tamarind offered a standalone villa, whereas Sakae had small, connected units. The curtains didn't block out light, and there was no conditioner or disposable toiletries (you had to ask for them). These weren't a big deal, but the worst part of the experience was when we checked in, the front desk mentioned there would be a fire show at 8:30 PM. We rushed over after dinner on the main street, carrying a pizza we hadn't had a chance to eat yet, to catch the show. Upon arrival, we found it was inside a restaurant. A male staff member very aggressively told us we'd have to pay 500 Thai Baht. Honestly, after so many trips to Thailand, even the scammers are usually smiling. This was the only time I encountered such rudeness, and it was at Sakae. I understand that as a restaurant, they can have a policy against bringing in outside food. However, the front desk only told us to go to the left for the show and never mentioned it was a restaurant (we arrived quite late, took a paid boat to the island at 6 PM, settled into the hotel, and then went to the main street for dinner). Secondly, they could have simply reminded us, but there was no need to give us a dirty look. If they had a good attitude, I would have paid the 500, provided they offered good service and made us feel welcome. This experience left a very bad impression. However, its advantage is that it's close to the main street and has a beach, so I'm sharing this information for anyone who might find it useful.

“Good Location but NOT Good Service Mind” I’ve traveled to Koh Samed several times and usually like to stay at different hotels each time. I came across the good reviews of this hotel, so I decided to book it for my parents and me because the location is convenient. I’ve also visited the restaurant under the hotel several times for food and drinks. Unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing. The equipment in the room was quite old and rusty. At around 2 a.m., the hot-water pipe under the sink broke, causing hot water to splash over the toilet. We tried calling the hotel, but no one answered the phone, so we decided to walk to the reception. The way to the reception was very dark and quite scary. When we arrived, the reception was closed and there was no one around. Eventually, we found a security guard sitting near the beach and asked him for help. He came to check the issue and offered to move us to another room. However, we were extremely tired at around 3 a.m., so we told him that if the problem could be fixed, we would prefer to stay in the same room. When I checked out the next morning, I informed the female staff member at reception (the lady with glasses) about what had happened during the night. What really disappointed me was her first response. Instead of apologizing or asking what happened, she said with an annoyed expression: “He already offered to change the room for you, right?” I was honestly surprised by this response. As a customer, I wasn’t complaining about not being offered another room. I was simply informing the hotel about a serious issue that happened in the middle of the night and the fact that no one answered the hotel phone when we needed help. She then asked why I didn’t call the hotel. I explained that I had tried calling several times, but no one answered. She looked surprised by this, which made me wonder whether the hotel was even aware that the phone was not being answered. I would have been completely fine if she had simply apologized and explained what happened clearly. Unfortunately, her attitude and lack of empathy made the situation much worse. The location is good, and I’ve actually enjoyed visiting the restaurant here before. But good location and good food cannot make up for poor customer service, especially when a guest needs assistance in the middle of the night. Unfortunately, I definitely won’t come back to stay here again, and I’ll also reconsider visiting the restaurant. I gave 1 star on service for the staff who checked in us, she was friendly and helpful.

Stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. You can snorkel directly in front of the hotel, and there are more fish near the coral reefs, but I wouldn't recommend going there if the waves are big. It's best to wear long pants and diving socks to avoid scratches. The sand right outside is very fine and soft. Breakfast is served by the sea with ocean views. The bar street can get a bit noisy at night, so it might not be suitable for light sleepers, but since we usually go to bed late, it didn't bother us. A major plus is that the bedsheets are changed for every new guest. The room has many windows, making it bright and airy. The only downsides are that the shower only has a handheld showerhead and the water pressure is a bit low. For shopping, try to go to the 7-Eleven on the main street, as the supermarket here is about a third more expensive. Overall, it offers great value for money and is perfect for a relaxing holiday.

It’s one of the great choices for a quick, quiet weekend escape in Samed. The other is Paradee. Overall, it’s a beautifully located resort far distance in a serene spot with lovely private rocky beach, but in terms of facilities and overall experience, it feels more like a solid 4-star resort rather than a true 5-star standard. I highly recommend booking directly with the resort if possible. Direct bookings include complimentary boat transfers to the island as well as land transfers from the pier to the resort, which saves a lot of hassle. One thing I noticed was the high proportion of foreign staff. It felt like the resort lost a bit of that local Thai touch you usually expect when holidaying on the islands.

Hotel Review Good Points: 1. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. 2. The room rate was affordable and offered great value for money. 3. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. 4. The breakfast was delicious, with a good selection of both Thai and international dishes. 5. The location was excellent—close to the beach and convenient for getting around. 6. There was a parking area available for motorbikes, which was very convenient. 7. There was a fire dance performance every day at 7:00 PM, which was entertaining and added to the overall atmosphere. 8.There are many kinds of one day tour provided, which is same price as other tour companies. 9.Just only 10mins walk from hotel to 7-11 Things to Improve: 1. Nothing. I had a great stay and was very satisfied with the overall experience.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. Upon arrival, we were initially checked into a bungalow, which we didn't like – it was very dark and cramped. We requested to be moved to the main building. They put us on the first floor, which wasn't ideal, but it was okay. Everything in the room felt old, and during cleaning, the toiletries and tea weren't replenished; we had to ask for them. The breakfasts are good, and sometimes there's live music, which is a nice touch. There's also live music on the beach and a fire show in the evenings. The hotel is just a stone's throw away from 7/11. Overall, it's a decent hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The place is very clean, conveniently located near the beach, and the staff is absolutely amazing, always friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely come back. Highly recommend this place!

The staff at the front desk were lovely. They spoke politely, gave good recommendations, and were always smiling. The kitchen staff were also very kind and provided excellent service. The hotel has comprehensive facilities, is easy to get to, close to everything, and safe. The hotel also offers motorcycle rentals, which I recommend arranging directly with them for convenience. I was very impressed! 💗✨🙏🏻

The first promlem was to find the reception to check in. No info when you come from the ferry, The info is on the beach, but who is going to the beach before check in? When we finally found the reception, they said we couldn´t check in before 3pm!!Since we came there 1pm we had to wait 2 hours. Then we came to the small room. There was nothin inside except a tv hanging on a wall 90 degrees from the bed! 4 hooks for hanging clothes, No shelfes, no bedside tables, nothing. We had to keep everything on the floor. In the small bathroom the dispencer for showercreme and schampoo didn´t funktion and no shelf to put own schampoo on. When we wanted to buy woucher for the breakfast buffet, we were told that they didn´t have breakfast bufett just now . there was not enough guests!!! isteaf we had to order a breafast. a poor meal to dubbel price comparing to a resaurant in Jomtien. No info about password to the Wi-Fi in the room. When i asked in the reception I got a small piece ov paper with the password but whe I tried to log in, IO got a message it was wrong password. When i went back to the receptio they told me that their WI-FI didn´work!! Why not tell that when i first asked for the password? The ONLY POSITIVE thing with this stay was the location, Very close to the the beach. My recommendation; find another stay!
