A very friendly family runs this small homestay. We felt very comfortable. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. A delicious breakfast was also provided, and if the weather is warm enough, you can use the pool. Otherwise, it's also pleasant to relax on the sun lounger in front of the pool. Many thanks to the whole family who run this homestay and ensured we had a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful stay at The Wooden Gate! The property is absolutely beautiful, with a lovely pool and a very peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and everything freshly prepared. The location is also perfect for exploring the area. With the bicycles provided, we could easily and quickly reach Mua Cave and the Trang An boat tours. What impressed us most was the kindness and hospitality of the staff. Our children are very picky eaters, and the team even prepared special meals just for them, which we really appreciated. We felt very welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. A beautiful place with wonderful service – we would definitely recommend The Wooden Gate!

The swimming pool was very happy, the hotel was surrounded by the mountains, it was not too convenient to go out, so we rented a motorcycle to play everywhere and it was perfect... The hotel's breakfast is not too much, let's eat alive, the price is so cheap and don't expect everything to be perfect. The toilet window in the room cannot be closed tightly, so there are often mosquitoes in the room, but there are simple children's amusement facilities in the hotel garden with electric mosquito patties. Overall very good!

We stayed in Avana during our recent trip to Ninh Binh. We were looking for homely feel and that is exactly what we got in Avana. The room and the facilities were very clean and on top of it the attentiveness of the host was top notch. We had to leave early by 7AM for halong bay cruise and the host ensured we could get our desired breakfast by 6:30 AM. Thanks for your service and people of Ninh Binh for our pleasant stay.

The hotel was booked for one day. By 6 a.m., the hostess offered another room for early accommodation for adequate cost. The hostess of the hotel was responsive and friendly. Helped us with renting a bike and buying tickets to Halong. Breakfast was delicious. Included Vietnamese coffee with a clutch and a mi ball.

The hotel seats are not very good and there are few convenience stores nearby. There are many foreign tourists, almost all of them European and American tourists, and then Korean tourists. The hotel swimming pool cannot be used due to winter maintenance. The TV couldn't be watched the next day. Even if I asked the housekeeping staff to deal with it, it still wouldn't work. The hot water for bathing in the hotel is not hot Other services can be of a good level or above
