Location: Great location with a beautiful view of Erhai Lake. You can enjoy the scenery directly from your hotel room, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the iconic view. It is about one hour away from the old town and the S-Curve.
Service: The host is very kind! He helped me with check-in and carried my baggage to the room. Although he could not speak English, he shared useful information with me through WeChat. The host would contact us to ask which places we wanted to visit, and we could hire him for a day trip for about 300 yuan, which was very convenient and cost-effective.
Facilities: The hotel has all the facilities we needed, and the room offers excellent value for money.

GGuest UserHad a great stay at Xinjia Yaoshan Homestay. The owner was very friendly and hospitable. I felt warm and comfortable during my stay. The room is clean and has all the basic amenities needed. Location wise, it is near caicun wharf with good food nearby, and a small night market just 5 minutes walk away. Didi to Dali ancient city is about 12 yuan.
When I had trouble arranging transport to my next destination (Shaxi), the owner also helped to arrange safe and reliable carpooling with a driver/company he has worked with for years. I didn’t have to worry about anything, which made my stay at Dali relaxing and stress-free. Recommended! 👍🏻

GGuest UserBecause I wanted to live closer to the Bohai Sea, I chose to live in a homestay. The first time I stayed at a homestay, the room was great. I originally planned to change the experience on the first day. I didn’t expect it to be amazing. The price is very high. I went to the Bohai Sea in a few meters. You can watch the sunrise at the door in the morning. Don't worry about the inconvenience of eating and drinking in the village. Follow the Bohai Sea to Caicun Wharf. There are everything. There are many food stalls at night, so I have been staying until I leave Dali. The boss is very good, help with luggage, tell us the precautions, and also sent fresh local flower cakes, I feel very lucky, the first time I did not step on the pit, strong! highly recommended!

NNatazaEnjoy my stay here. The bed is comfy. The bathroom is big and inside the room. The atmosphere of the hostel is nice. And it is near 大理古城. I can also store my luggage there when I checked out. Next time i will go back to Dali if I have chance, 洱海 really beautiful but it is a pity the weather when I stayed there is raining all the time.

GGuest UserWhat an extraordinary hotel. The best value for money I have stayed ever. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. All amenities were available, and the temperature was perfect inside the room. The ambience is futuristic, with an illuminated ceiling and AC + curtains which work on vocal commands. There are also numerous places for food around in the area- as it’s just a 5 minute walk from Dali train station.

DDuyenLeQuiet hotel, convenient, 10 minutes by tram to Tam Thap. 10 minutes to the old town. At the beginning of the street there is a super cheap and cute tram rental place 50 yuan a day.
The lady is cute, although I don't understand Chinese at all, it's still very fun.

DDavid AventThere was a Clean Pedestal toilet available. The room was non smoking, however the owner chain smoked in the small courtyard area just outside and the smoke would drift into the dormitory. As there was no other air circulation the door had to be open. The mattress was almost non-existent, it was the thinnest mattress i have yet encountered in my travels. The kitchen was a disgusting mess, as was the small common area. The staff were nice. No english was spoken. Plenty of restaurants close by. Ok for one night

GGuest UserThe small courtyard is very comfortable as a whole, the room is very large, the texture of tatami and bedding is very online, and the pool is also very good. The configuration in the room is also very practical, the new Dyson, washing machine, dryer, disinfection cabinet, refrigerator are all, it is not beautiful to live, but it is really convenient.
The yard is Japanese-style pastoral, with tea pavilions, public areas and courtyards. During the day, you can drink tea quietly, watch the clouds, listen to the birds, and the rhythm slows down at once. The location is not far from the Bohai Sea, but it is much quieter than the popular punch-in area. It is very suitable for people who want to avoid the crowd and relax.
The most impressive thing this time was that during the stay, the owner of the home invited the ceramic teacher. In the evening, everyone made firewood kiln handmade in the yard together, which was a very good experience. After a few days, I also personally carried a whole set of objects, hahaha.
At night, everyone chatted around the campfire, and communicated naturally under the stars, which was very humane. I also experienced the Bai three-way tea, and I also went to a super delicious treasure Bai restaurant nearby.
I often come out to play, but it feels like I don't live in a homestay for one night, it's more like living slowly in Dali.
Perfect for people who want a quiet holiday and like the courtyard, tea, artifacts and natural atmosphere.
