"I stayed at this hotel for two nights, and it's absolutely the best accommodation you can find in Baisha Ancient Town – I highly recommend it to anyone visiting!
The location is truly unbeatable. It's just a short walk (about 100-200 meters) to the North Gate of Baisha Ancient Town, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the town and checking out all the little shops. You don't have to walk far, and if you get tired, you can pop back to your room anytime to rest.
The room itself felt very new and was spacious without feeling cramped. The bathroom had a wet and dry separation and even a smart toilet – very clean and upscale. The bedding was high-quality, all featuring the hotel's exclusive brand label, and was clean with no strange smells, ensuring a truly comfortable night's sleep.
It has its own little courtyard, which is quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The room amenities were complete and all in good working order, including a projector, kettle, and hairdryer. The toiletries were clean and well-stocked. They even thoughtfully added anti-collision strips to the table corners, showing great attention to detail and care.
I have to give a special shout-out to the owner! They're not only great at photography but also warmly treated us to homemade fruit tea, fresh plums, and Orah mandarins – incredibly hospitable. Any issues we had during our stay were quickly resolved with a simple phone call; their response was super prompt. The small cookies provided in the room were also delicious – a delightful little surprise.
The room boasts a huge panoramic window, and as soon as you open the curtains, you can see the snow-capped mountains. The view is absolutely stunning, and it really elevates the whole travel experience. It's perfect whether you're traveling solo or with company. Next time I visit Baisha, I'll definitely choose to stay here again!"

JJade 玉洁Had the most wonderful time in this amazing cabin. If you want to take time off from the big city and be immersed in a beautiful local village, then you have to stay at Huan Yibi’s cabin.
The view is breathtaking and the area is quiet and immersed in nature. The room was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. On top of that, the hosts were amazing: not only kind but also available to help. We could join them on a little trip up the mountain to pick up mushrooms and later on we all made Chinese dumplings together.
Being foreigners in China, we felt very welcome and happy during our whole stay. In addition, the food was very delicious: it felt like a real experience of a local family life, we loved it.
We hope to have the chance to return one day and re-do this experience again!

The owner was incredibly thoughtful; seeing we had a lot of luggage, they even offered to drop us off at the high-speed rail station. For guests with lighter luggage, the high-speed rail station is conveniently located just 500-600 meters away.

RRenee C.I had a truly wonderful stay at Mushan Homestay and would strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Lijiang.
The homestay is run by a lovely Naxi couple, and you can really feel the warmth and care they put into this place. The room was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. From my room, I could even see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, which made mornings and sunsets extra special.
I slept extremely well here — the bed is very comfortable, and the whole place made me feel at home. Every morning, the owners prepared breakfast for us, and I honestly looked forward to it every day. The food was simple but delicious, especially their pickled vegetables (榨菜) and flatbread (饼) — hands down one of the best things I ate in Yunnan.
They also have three adorable dogs, and their son is absolutely adorable 🥰. During my stay, I enjoyed playing with them and taking short walks — it’s only about 3 minutes to Baisha Ancient Town.
Mushan is located on the quieter side of Baisha Ancient Town, which I really appreciated. The road leading to the town is cleaner and less sandy. I previously stayed on another side of Baisha where there was construction, making walking less pleasant — Mushan was a much better experience.
I spent over a week in Lijiang trying different 民宿, and without a doubt, Mushan is the homestay I would return to. It offers excellent value for money and a truly warm, home-like atmosphere.
If you prefer a cozy, welcoming, and peaceful place to stay, I highly recommend Mushan Homestay.

YyeeaunThe B&B is located in Yuhu Village. Four of us stayed there for three nights. It's close to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and a taxi ride to Baisha Ancient Town. Shuhe Ancient Town is also nearby, and you can enjoy horseback riding around the village and experience the Ancient Tea Horse Road. The owner and his wife are kind and helpful, and you can ask them anything you need.
I remember arriving at the B&B at 8 p.m. on our first day, and the owner's wife was waiting for us to help us take our luggage up to our room. That evening, when we walked out for dinner, it started raining, and the owner personally drove out to pick us up, so we wouldn't get wet. It was truly heartwarming.
You can enjoy horseback riding and take photos at the foot of the snow-capped mountains within walking distance, which is truly photogenic. There are also some popular cafes near the B&B for photo opportunities. The owner and his wife also introduced us to attractions, taught us how to buy tickets, and recommended restaurants and cafes. They even helped us secure tickets for the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Cable Car and treated us to drinks the night we secured them, but unfortunately, we couldn't get any.
If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing stay away from the crowds, this is a great place to avoid the noise and crowds.
The owner and his family are truly wonderful.

The rooms are very clean and modern, with a heated mirror so steam won’t block your view and a heater for colder mornings. The hotel itself is lovely, with a traditional atmosphere. The property has two sweet dogs, too :) We had a great time, I wish I could bring my family next time! ＜3

Ssouvenir777We drove along the Tiger Leaping Gorge all the way to Daju Township. We turned the wrong way on a small road in the fields and accidentally fell into a ditch. Thanks to the help of the owner, we were able to get the car out. The owner and his wife saw that I was alone and invited me to have dinner with them. The food was very homely and delicious. The environment of the B&B is very good. There is a large field of sunflowers in front of the door🌻, a large swimming pool in the yard, and you can sit and watch the snow-capped mountains. It is really a place to relax and unwind. Sitting quietly and watching the scenery will make you feel better. The only thing is that the water pressure and temperature of the shower in the room are not enough, and the drainage is not very good. I hope it can be improved.

YYuslaini AzmiStay less than 24 hours there so my experience must not enough to describe fully the service. When I was arrive there the receptionist seems close already, I try contact via Trip.com but it linked to phone hotel which its difficult for me to call the owner as mostly thehy can't speak in English. I hope the owner makes initiative to answer guest that booking via third party like Agoda or Trip.com so it will be easier for me.
The room I book not provided aircond and no showercap or basic toiletries given, usually hoteel.provide like tooth brush, tooth paste but nothing was there maybe they forgot to replenish I don't know as I also check in late around 9pm. Overall , its a strategic locstion for those who want to catch up train early morning because the hotel location just like 400m away from Ljiang railway station (high speed train)

GGuest UserIt's clean, tidy and cool. It's not noisy at night. You can see the sunrise in the morning. It should be opened by local residents. The boss is very warm and friendly. He is very active in helping us carry our luggage and takes us to Lijiang Station in the early morning.

AAlice Kang88The location is near to HuTuWo farm which is walkable 15 mins, it's about 40 mins +- if you take a taxi from LiJiang Ancient to BaiSha Ancient Town.
We enjoy the famous local speciality - rose bun by ManTou Shiren and XiaoLongBao and GuanTangBao nearby.
This hostel is located at BaiSha Ancient Town which have a perfect scenery view for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
But too bad there is bad weather when we arrive there so we couldnot have a clear view but we do enjoy the stay there.
But outside the room is open living area with many trees and we found out small insect appear in our room that cause us very scary and could not sleep well but the PIC did come to help and take off the insect after non-stop several calls at 10.30pm 😬
The photos with animal is in HuTuWo which is walkable 15 mins from this hostel.

GGuest UserThe guesthouse in Baisha Ancient Town was the most affordable I've seen, and it's very close to the town. The environment is fantastic, with a huge courtyard and pear trees, perfect for an extended stay. Most importantly, the owner is incredibly kind and helpful, recommending delicious food and picking up our takeout orders from nearby tourist attractions. They're always there for us, making our trip to Lijiang so enjoyable. Next time I'm in Lijiang, I'll definitely choose a guesthouse like this one with its beautiful flower-filled courtyard. The owner is truly thoughtful! The room offers a view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the bathroom is spacious, and the room is impeccably clean. It was a truly comfortable stay. A must-visit!
