GGuest UserThis trip to Lijiang was originally planned with only two days of accommodation at a guesthouse near the Old Town. However, I stumbled upon Huanyibi Cottage on Ctrip and was immediately captivated. So, I cut back on my Dali itinerary and squeezed in a day to visit. My partner, two children, and I all absolutely loved it.
The mountain road was winding and bumpy, but we arrived before dark to witness the colorful sunset. As night fell, we sat on the viewing platform, enjoying the evening breeze and sipping hot tea, taking in the breathtaking night view of Lashi Lake. Looking up at the starry sky, I felt completely relaxed and happy. The next day, I could see the sea of clouds and the sunrise from my bed. After the sun rose, the thick fog dissipated, revealing the distant Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The facilities on the mountain were limited, but the breakfast was simple yet exquisite: congee, homemade side dishes, and a few crispy fried dough sticks—surprisingly delicious. After breakfast, watching my two children and the Pomeranian brought by the guests chasing and playing in the yard instantly transported me back to my childhood—relaxed, carefree, and unrestrained. Some rooms allow guests to cook their own meals, or they can choose to join the staff in cooking and eating together in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, like family. I heard the guesthouse took seven months to build, and deep within it, you can feel the owner's care and taste in every piece of wood, every object, every bedding item, and every furnishing. I look forward to returning to Cloud Cottage with my family next year, staying for a few more days to fully experience this idyllic lifestyle and enjoy a few days of blissful bliss in this paradise on earth.

GGuest UserAbsolutely fantastic! This place offers great value for money, and I was thrilled to see the 'sunrise over snow-capped mountains' from my room. There's also a rooftop terrace with even better views, perfect for amazing photos.
The owner is a Naxi local, and her whole family is incredibly kind. Coincidentally, the day after I arrived was the major Naxi festival, Sanduo Festival. The owner had a performance and even took us along to watch the show and participate in the festival, including the 'datiao' (a traditional Naxi dance). That day was genuinely the happiest day of my entire Yunnan trip!
It's also super convenient to order takeout to your room after a long day of exploring. Eating by the window while gazing at the snow-capped mountains? Pure bliss! 😍
There's a super cute chicken named 'Little Seashell' in the courtyard, and she even shakes hands! To top it all off, I was incredibly lucky to see a rainbow when I checked out. This guesthouse truly brought me so much good fortune. Highly, highly recommend!

YyeeaunThe B&B is located in Yuhu Village. Four of us stayed there for three nights. It's close to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and a taxi ride to Baisha Ancient Town. Shuhe Ancient Town is also nearby, and you can enjoy horseback riding around the village and experience the Ancient Tea Horse Road. The owner and his wife are kind and helpful, and you can ask them anything you need.
I remember arriving at the B&B at 8 p.m. on our first day, and the owner's wife was waiting for us to help us take our luggage up to our room. That evening, when we walked out for dinner, it started raining, and the owner personally drove out to pick us up, so we wouldn't get wet. It was truly heartwarming.
You can enjoy horseback riding and take photos at the foot of the snow-capped mountains within walking distance, which is truly photogenic. There are also some popular cafes near the B&B for photo opportunities. The owner and his wife also introduced us to attractions, taught us how to buy tickets, and recommended restaurants and cafes. They even helped us secure tickets for the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Cable Car and treated us to drinks the night we secured them, but unfortunately, we couldn't get any.
If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing stay away from the crowds, this is a great place to avoid the noise and crowds.
The owner and his family are truly wonderful.

GGabriela0914Stunning view of the mountain range and surrounding village. The breakfast was personalised to our taste and fresh, the lady who cooked every day was fantastic. The rooms are very clean and modern, with a heated mirror so steam won’t block your view and a heater for colder mornings. The hotel itself is lovely, with a traditional atmosphere. The property has two sweet dogs, too :) We had a great time, I wish I could bring my family next time! ＜3

Ssouvenir777We drove along the Tiger Leaping Gorge all the way to Daju Township. We turned the wrong way on a small road in the fields and accidentally fell into a ditch. Thanks to the help of the owner, we were able to get the car out. The owner and his wife saw that I was alone and invited me to have dinner with them. The food was very homely and delicious. The environment of the B&B is very good. There is a large field of sunflowers in front of the door🌻, a large swimming pool in the yard, and you can sit and watch the snow-capped mountains. It is really a place to relax and unwind. Sitting quietly and watching the scenery will make you feel better. The only thing is that the water pressure and temperature of the shower in the room are not enough, and the drainage is not very good. I hope it can be improved.

NNgAs soon as I walked into the hotel, I was attracted by the cozy little courtyard. There is a big tree in the middle of the courtyard, and there is a small pond under the big tree. The sound of gurgling water is refreshing. There are also three cute cats running around and playing in the yard, adding a lively vitality to the entire yard.
The hotel is located in an alley near the central street of Baisha Ancient Town. It is very close to the tourist area, but it enjoys tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist area. The rooms on the second and third floors all have mountain views. It's really healing to see such a view when you open your eyes in the morning.
The hotel owner and his wife are very friendly and easy to chat with. In addition to providing all my accommodation needs, I also took care of my transportation problems after leaving the hotel. If I have the opportunity to return to Lijiang again, this hotel will definitely be my first choice.

YYuslaini AzmiStay less than 24 hours there so my experience must not enough to describe fully the service. When I was arrive there the receptionist seems close already, I try contact via Trip.com but it linked to phone hotel which its difficult for me to call the owner as mostly thehy can't speak in English. I hope the owner makes initiative to answer guest that booking via third party like Agoda or Trip.com so it will be easier for me.
The room I book not provided aircond and no showercap or basic toiletries given, usually hoteel.provide like tooth brush, tooth paste but nothing was there maybe they forgot to replenish I don't know as I also check in late around 9pm. Overall , its a strategic locstion for those who want to catch up train early morning because the hotel location just like 400m away from Ljiang railway station (high speed train)

GGuest UserIt's clean, tidy and cool. It's not noisy at night. You can see the sunrise in the morning. It should be opened by local residents. The boss is very warm and friendly. He is very active in helping us carry our luggage and takes us to Lijiang Station in the early morning.

AAlice Kang88The location is near to HuTuWo farm which is walkable 15 mins, it's about 40 mins +- if you take a taxi from LiJiang Ancient to BaiSha Ancient Town.
We enjoy the famous local speciality - rose bun by ManTou Shiren and XiaoLongBao and GuanTangBao nearby.
This hostel is located at BaiSha Ancient Town which have a perfect scenery view for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
But too bad there is bad weather when we arrive there so we couldnot have a clear view but we do enjoy the stay there.
But outside the room is open living area with many trees and we found out small insect appear in our room that cause us very scary and could not sleep well but the PIC did come to help and take off the insect after non-stop several calls at 10.30pm 😬

IIgnatius SimMy 3 nights stay here has been nothing but amazing. The location is a short 5mins walk away from Baisha Old Town. There are lots of food and shops to visit around that area and it's not really crowded with tourists as compared to Lijiang Old Town.
This accommodation is very quiet and peaceful. The view from my room was fantastic - old rustic traditional buildings sit in front of a gorgeous mountain view. At night, if the skies are clear, you could take a stroll out of the hotel and you'll find the skies fully decorated with stars. Day or night, I am blessed with lovely sceneries.
The staff that handled my stay was really nice and always greeted me with smiles. The check-in process is fuss free and I could always communicate with the staff here through WeChat App.
As a backpacker, laundry is very important. There is a shared washing machine. Perfect for me who needs to have my laundry done regularly.
Definitely a recommended place to stay if you're looking for a room away from the city crowds, with nice atmosphere/views and near Baisha Old Town.
