Had the most wonderful time in this amazing cabin. If you want to take time off from the big city and be immersed in a beautiful local village, then you have to stay at Huan Yibi’s cabin. The view is breathtaking and the area is quiet and immersed in nature. The room was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. On top of that, the hosts were amazing: not only kind but also available to help. We could join them on a little trip up the mountain to pick up mushrooms and later on we all made Chinese dumplings together. Being foreigners in China, we felt very welcome and happy during our whole stay. In addition, the food was very delicious: it felt like a real experience of a local family life, we loved it. We hope to have the chance to return one day and re-do this experience again! 谢谢你们了🙏🏼🗻❤️

I had a truly wonderful stay at Mushan Homestay and would strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Lijiang. The homestay is run by a lovely Naxi couple, and you can really feel the warmth and care they put into this place. The room was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. From my room, I could even see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, which made mornings and sunsets extra special. I slept extremely well here — the bed is very comfortable, and the whole place made me feel at home. Every morning, the owners prepared breakfast for us, and I honestly looked forward to it every day. The food was simple but delicious, especially their pickled vegetables (榨菜) and flatbread (饼) — hands down one of the best things I ate in Yunnan. They also have three adorable dogs, and their son is absolutely adorable 🥰. During my stay, I enjoyed playing with them and taking short walks — it’s only about 3 minutes to Baisha Ancient Town. Mushan is located on the quieter side of Baisha Ancient Town, which I really appreciated. The road leading to the town is cleaner and less sandy. I previously stayed on another side of Baisha where there was construction, making walking less pleasant — Mushan was a much better experience. I spent over a week in Lijiang trying different 民宿, and without a doubt, Mushan is the homestay I would return to. It offers excellent value for money and a truly warm, home-like atmosphere. If you prefer a cozy, welcoming, and peaceful place to stay, I highly recommend Mushan Homestay.

First, let's talk about the location! This charming courtyard guesthouse is nestled within Baisha Ancient Town, down a secluded alleyway and a bit removed from the town's central area. This makes the surroundings incredibly peaceful and quiet. Staying here truly offers a serene and relaxed atmosphere, like a tranquil escape. The hosts have cultivated a variety of flowers and plants in the courtyard (see P3, 4, 5). Although they modestly claim these aren't 'precious blooms,' the truth is, the beauty of any plant largely depends on the care it receives. Their diligent watering and meticulous attention truly bring a unique vitality to the flowers, adding considerable charm and character to the guesthouse. The rooms are incredibly spacious! (see P1) We were told our room was the smallest in the guesthouse, yet it was still considerably larger than standard twin rooms found in chain hotels like Atour or Hanting (the largest twin room here is reportedly over 60 square meters!). The room itself was clean and tidy, featuring two windows that provided excellent cross-ventilation. All the furnishings and amenities were chosen with great care, contributing to an upscale and elegant ambiance. Another highlight that truly deserves praise is the guesthouse's incredibly spacious kitchen, fully equipped with all the necessary cooking utensils. Being able to prepare our own meals right there added another delightful dimension to our relaxing getaway. (see P2) The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming! We drove along the Tiger Leaping Gorge all the way to Daju Township. We turned the wrong way on a small road in the fields and accidentally fell into a ditch. Thanks to the help of the owner, we were able to get the car out. The owner and his wife saw that I was alone and invited me to have dinner with them. The food was very homely and delicious. The environment of the B&B is very good. There is a large field of sunflowers in front of the door🌻, a large swimming pool in the yard, and you can sit and watch the snow-capped mountains. It is really a place to relax and unwind. Sitting quietly and watching the scenery will make you feel better. The only thing is that the water pressure and temperature of the shower in the room are not enough, and the drainage is not very good. I hope it can be improved.

We had a great stay at this hotel everything was just right. The location is very convenient, close to the train station and within walking distance to a Halal restaurant, which was perfect for us. What truly made our experience special was the outstanding hospitality. The staff were so kind and helpful, and even drop us off at the train station, which made our travel so much smoother. It’s rare to find such thoughtful service! The room was clean and comfortable, and we felt very welcomed from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a convenient, Muslim-friendly, and heartwarming stay.

Feels like a remote village and peaceful stay. At night every business is closed and is dark in the village. It was a pleasant stay and the property manager helped transport our luggage to the second floor, and to the car after check out. The room had a seating toilet, heated blanket and a heater. No refrigerator, which is not a problem. A walking distance to a local convenience store, and cafes. The homestay has a view of the mountain range and the rooftops of the village buildings from a small shared space on the second floor. I need to notify the homestay, the number plate of the car each time the car enters the village between 08:00-18:00. It's a secured road entrance between these times. The road and path leading up to the homestay can be rugged, stone paths shared with horse riders, village dogs, visitors, vehicles and might be challenging for drivers to manoeuvre in narrow paths.

Having traveled to dozens of countries around the world and stayed in hundreds of hotels, guesthouses, and hostels, Qichi in Yuhu Village at the foot of the snow-capped mountains is one of my most highly rated travel havens. The location is excellent, the rooms and bedding are clean, the owner personally cooks delicious meals, and European backpackers gather around to chat. Hikers and backpackers alike will surely share and create wonderful memories here.

The scenery of the snow-capped mountains is absolutely stunning. The only downside is that taxis can’t enter the old town, so you have to drag your luggage over uneven cobblestone streets for at least 7 to 10 minutes. However, if you arrange things in advance, the host will usually come out to pick you up. Overall, you get what you pay for—the value for money is quite good, especially if you plan to stay overnight in the old town.

Stay less than 24 hours there so my experience must not enough to describe fully the service. When I was arrive there the receptionist seems close already, I try contact via Trip.com but it linked to phone hotel which its difficult for me to call the owner as mostly thehy can't speak in English. I hope the owner makes initiative to answer guest that booking via third party like Agoda or Trip.com so it will be easier for me. The room I book not provided aircond and no showercap or basic toiletries given, usually hoteel.provide like tooth brush, tooth paste but nothing was there maybe they forgot to replenish I don't know as I also check in late around 9pm. Overall , its a strategic locstion for those who want to catch up train early morning because the hotel location just like 400m away from Ljiang railway station (high speed train)

My 3 nights stay here has been nothing but amazing. The location is a short 5mins walk away from Baisha Old Town. There are lots of food and shops to visit around that area and it's not really crowded with tourists as compared to Lijiang Old Town. This accommodation is very quiet and peaceful. The view from my room was fantastic - old rustic traditional buildings sit in front of a gorgeous mountain view. At night, if the skies are clear, you could take a stroll out of the hotel and you'll find the skies fully decorated with stars. Day or night, I am blessed with lovely sceneries. The staff that handled my stay was really nice and always greeted me with smiles. The check-in process is fuss free and I could always communicate with the staff here through WeChat App. As a backpacker, laundry is very important. There is a shared washing machine. Perfect for me who needs to have my laundry done regularly. Definitely a recommended place to stay if you're looking for a room away from the city crowds, with nice atmosphere/views and near Baisha Old Town.
