Although my room was facing the courtyard, I felt it was okay since most of the time I was out of the hotel anyway. "The hotel environment is quite good, but the room design is a bit strange. From the second floor, you can see the hot tub area on the first floor. On the day I checked in, I accidentally made eye contact with a naked man who had just gotten out of the tub on the first floor – of course, I saw his backside (he probably couldn't sleep well for the rest of the day). Early the next morning, there were workers doing construction, and the sound of the electric drill was constant. However, being able to soak in a bath during my trip was very satisfying. I hope for a better experience next time."

"I'm writing this review on my way out of Lijiang, and I have to say, this guesthouse came highly recommended by a friend who had just stayed here. The room was exactly as pictured, and you could even see the snow-capped mountains from the rooftop. If the conditions were right, you might even catch the 'golden summit' sunrise. I ended up extending my stay for another night. #Cleanliness The room was spacious and spotless. The bathroom even came with disposable towels, and the toilet had disposable seat covers, alcohol wipes, and a brand new pack of tissues. #Service They contacted me a day in advance to arrange luggage pickup. The guesthouse owner was incredibly responsive, almost always replying to messages instantly, and very welcoming. When I felt unwell after coming down from the snow mountain, they even checked in on me the next day before I left to see if I was feeling better. Knowing we hadn't had lunch before leaving, they packed us a bag of food. #Location & Transportation It's very close to where taxis drop off near the ancient town entrance, just a two to three-minute walk. The main street is only about a hundred meters away – you step right out onto it – but it's surprisingly quiet and not noisy at all. #Breakfast I absolutely loved the guesthouse's breakfast! Even with altitude sickness affecting my appetite, all I wanted was the rice noodles made by the kind lady. The breakfast was incredibly rich and plentiful; you'll definitely leave full. There's also afternoon tea, usually hand-drip coffee, and a goodnight dessert like hot milk or tremella soup."

"What truly surprised me was the hotel's distinctive stone-stacked exterior and the sophisticated interior details. Its prime location within the park, surprisingly tranquil at night, was a huge plus. The sound of horse hooves during the day and the occasional dog bark at night, set against the backdrop of blue skies, flowing clouds, meadows, and sunshine, created a harmonious and healing atmosphere. Breakfast was abundant and nutritious, even satisfying a picky Virgo like me with its well-balanced options. I was also delighted to find Geisha coffee beans in the hotel's cafe; the four extractions were all perfectly balanced. Even the desserts, often overlooked, were a pleasant surprise – the Basque cheesecake was unexpectedly delicious. The main attractions were just a few minutes' walk away, and the owner's recommended nearby restaurants were both affordable and tasty. I also had the pleasure of trying the hotel's mulberry wine. Overall, both the service and the facilities far exceeded the price, adding a wonderful sense of joy and belonging to my trip."

The hotel's location is absolutely stunning, quietly tucked away at the foot of the snow-capped mountains. The room views are incredible; just open the curtains and you're looking at the snowy peaks. In the mornings, you don't even need to leave your bed to witness the 'Golden Mountain in the Sun' phenomenon – that moment alone felt worth every penny. The public areas are designed with great style, especially the Cow Shed Cafe. It's been beautifully renovated with such a fantastic ambiance, perfect for photos, and enjoying coffee while gazing at the snow mountains – pure relaxation achieved. They offer a rich variety of activities, including various handicraft workshops. If you're not in a hurry, taking your time to experience them really adds to the vacation vibe. What truly impressed me the most was the service. From the moment I checked in, I felt like a VIP. Every staff member was incredibly gentle, attentive, and accommodating, always ready to help with a wonderful attitude. The attention to detail was also impeccable. Upon arrival, I received a thoughtful welcome kit, which even included a nail clipper set – it really shows their dedication to providing excellent service. "Nestled in Baisha Ancient Town, this hotel shares the amenities of Club Med and the Amez Camp, offering a plethora of sports and entertainment options like a basketball court, tennis courts, ping-pong tables, and even an Eight-Section Brocade training area. Plus, there's a fantastic restaurant, a convenience store, and the Stargazer Observatory. They upgraded us to a two-bedroom, one-living room suite, which was incredibly convenient for our family with two kids. Our days were packed: after breakfast, we'd explore the Snow Mountain Camp or let the kids burn off energy on the courts. Afternoons were for relaxing in the room, doing homework, reading, or watching TV. In the evenings, a quick 10-minute taxi ride took us to Baisha Ancient Town for some exploration and dining. At night, we'd head to the observatory where teachers guided us in identifying stars and our constellations through professional telescopes. Every day was so fulfilling! The accommodations are charming three-story houses, each with its own courtyard, and on clear days, you can even see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Playing on the courts with the stunning backdrop of majestic mountains and rolling grasslands was pure bliss! If you have the chance, I highly recommend staying for several days. The price of the Tang'an Resort Hotel, coupled with the services it provides, offers exceptional value for money. Whether you're traveling with children, parents, or friends and partners, everyone will find something to enjoy. During our three-day stay at Tang'an, we also spent half a day taking a 15-minute taxi ride to Yuhu Village. Yuhu Village even has its own visitor center, and you can take a shuttle bus further into the village and to Longnv Lake. The stone paths, various restaurants, cafes, and creative shops in the village are quite unique. Yuhu Village is reportedly the closest village to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and is definitely worth a visit. I've shared my experiences and photos with friends I've known for years, and they've all raved about it. I'm sure more people will discover the beauty of Tang'an!"

"The hotel is right next to the high-speed train station, less than 500 meters away. When you exit the station, walk straight ahead, and you'll see the hotel on your left near the bus stop. The hotel also has its own parking lot and offers breakfast. We slept in and just made it down for breakfast. I snapped a few pictures of the Chinese-style breakfast, which had a great variety. The room was very spacious with complete facilities, and the view from the window was beautiful. The front desk staff was very welcoming and patiently answered all our questions."

There are restaurants and photography services nearby, and it's a convenient walk to Baisha Ancient Town. The guesthouse can even help arrange mushroom picking tours. The service was exceptional all around. The only downside is 'Sanjin' the Samoyed, who only plays if you have dog treats!"
