"We had a fantastic stay the MountainTrip resort. Even before arrival they helped coordinate a private transfer for us to get to Shangri-La. They picked us up from the airport for free (which is a long drive). We also used their free drive to nearby Baisha. The room was spacious, clean, and had plenty of amenities (fridge, free drinks, toiletries). The bathrooms were modern. When we arrived late they still offered us their daily tea and drinks. We had breakfast and a couple other meals at the hotel and always found the food delicious and well balanced. Attached a few of their daily menus. The family enjoyed petting and feeding their goats and ponies. They would give us food to feed them. The flowers were beautiful. Our stay will likely be a highlight of our trip to Yunnan. Thank you to the wonderful hotel staff!"

"The room had a projector, and the B&B even had streaming service memberships for binge-watching, which was great! You could see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the room, and it was cleaned very well. The owner was super enthusiastic and helped us with our luggage (even braving the rain to do so, many thanks!). The watermelon was also very sweet, and all the facilities were excellent.
The third-floor viewing deck had amazing scenery, with a beautiful blue pool and lovely tables and coffee tables. The view was expansive, perfect for seeing Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and made for some fantastic photos."

"This hotel was a very pleasant surprise and one of the highlights of our stay in Lijiang.
The rooms are spacious and come with a private hot spring tub, which was the perfect way to relax after a long day exploring Lijiang Ancient Town. Both my children absolutely loved it, and it became something we looked forward to every evening.
The service was exceptional. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. At times, it felt like having a private concierge at our fingertips. We also appreciated the complimentary minibar, snacks, afternoon tea, and hotel transfers in a comfortable vehicle.
As we were travelling with children, I requested rooms close to each other, and the hotel kindly upgraded one of our rooms to accommodate our request. The kids were also delighted by the buggy rides around the property.
Some travelers may find the hotel slightly further from the old town, but for us, that was actually a plus. It provided a peaceful environment to relax and unwind away from the crowds. The private hot spring tub alone makes it worth staying here.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again when we return to Lijiang."

"I was absolutely blown away by this guesthouse in Lijiang's Baisha Ancient Town – my stay here was truly exceptional!
The guesthouse is nestled right at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. From my room, opening the window offered stunning views of the mist-shrouded peaks in the distance. Even lying in bed, I could gaze at the mountain scenery, which instantly lifted my spirits. The courtyard entrance features a beautiful water feature with floral arches, lush greenery, and white flowers adorned with light drapes. The reflections in the water created such an atmospheric setting, perfect for impromptu photos.
The common areas inside are incredibly stylish, with giant log pillars and artistic relief walls – every corner is Instagram-worthy. The guest rooms are spotlessly clean, and the bedding is super comfortable. They come equipped with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows and an oversized bathtub, which was perfect for a relaxing soak after exploring the ancient town, melting away the day's fatigue. The guesthouse amenities are comprehensive, making daily life hassle-free, and the overall environment is peaceful and serene.
As a side note, here’s a quick guide for exploring Baisha: you can take a public bus directly to the ancient town for 5 yuan. Nearby Baisha Archway, Yuhu Village, and Longnü Lake are all along the way and can be explored in about half a day, hitting multiple spots. If you're coming to Baisha to enjoy the snow-capped mountains and relax, staying here is absolutely perfect.

I highly recommend everyone who isn't interested in commercialized ancient towns (yes, I'm looking at you, Lijiang Old Town) to head straight to Sun-Kissed Mountain just outside Baisha Ancient Town in Lijiang.
The rooms are truly exceptional. All room types start from 70 square meters and perfectly embody what a 'scenic view room' should be – a whole wall of floor-to-ceiling sliding doors, allowing you to gaze at fields and snow-capped mountains right from your bed. Even while sitting on the tatami to eat or drink tea, there’s a small window offering a beautiful view outside. There's also a long narrow window by the bed, so you can just turn your head slightly to see a vast expanse of blue sky and white clouds. The moment I saw this view upon entering, I immediately messaged all my friends to recommend it.
A group of young people runs the place, with both cats and dogs, creating a warm community-like atmosphere. They created a service group chat with 11 people, and apart from me, everyone else was staff. From breakfast to afternoon tea to late-night sweet soup, all my food and drink needs were anticipated and delivered directly to my room. The drinks, in particular, were picture-perfect and really boosted my mood. Breakfast is served until 11 am, so after eating, you don't even need to think about lunch; just wait for afternoon tea. For the private hot spring, they help set up disposable bathtub liners and provide various bubble bath salts. They also give advance notice about the probability and timing of the 'golden mountain' sunrise (when the sun illuminates the snowy peaks) for the next day. There’s a six-seater commercial van shuttle service to Baisha Ancient Town, making things very convenient.
The facilities are also top-notch: washing machine, garment steamer (yes, you read that right), oxygen machine, projector, humidifier, Bose sound system, and Kohler bathroom fixtures – absolutely everything you could ask for."

"This is the best B&B I've ever stayed at – a wonderland that feels just like home. It perfectly matches all my expectations for a vacation rental. The basic cleanliness goes without saying, and the entire place exudes a serene atmosphere. The natural beauty is breathtaking; having Jade Dragon Snow Mountain right in front of you is an incredible experience.
But more importantly, there's a group of people here who feel more like family than friends, making everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. The lovely younger staff, the hospitable manager, the talkative chef, and the enthusiastic dog all became my family during my time in Yunnan.
My stay happened to coincide with the Dragon Boat Festival, and everyone invited me to join their big family celebration with the best food and wine. The loneliness of solo travel was completely enveloped by warmth here. Thank you to the B&B and to everyone for their incredible hospitality. My only regret is not being able to stay a few more days. But I'm confident we'll all meet again in the future."

"The room is very spacious, and there's a small balcony outside where it's super comfortable to sit. You can see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the distance. We came here specifically for my mom, and I just picked this guesthouse randomly, but it turned out to be an unexpected gem. We only went to the old town for meals and a quick stroll; the rest of the time we just relaxed in the room. The view is absolutely stunning! 👍 Plus, it's perfect for taking amazing photos. We got some great shots for our 'life album'. The staff were incredibly helpful; they carried our luggage from the moment we arrived all the way to our room – so enthusiastic! The pillows in the room were also very comfortable. When we checked out, I even asked the owner about them and got some recommendations. No need to say more, just look at the photos. I genuinely recommend this place and will be telling my friends to come here."

"This is a wonderful hotel to stay in at Baisha ancient town, about 20 minutes from the centre of Lijiang. The room was enormous and very clean with a view of the mountains. The host was very generous and friendly, we had tea every night after I’d been out exploring every day. He even drove me in his own car to catch the tour bus to Yulong Snow Mountain. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want a quieter experience yet only a few minutes walk to Baisha ancient town."

To my surprise, the room had an emergency comfort kit, and the butler even brought a warm ginger tea to my room. I was instantly moved to tears 🥹. The thoughtful details showed such gentle care. The Naxi hot pot for dinner had a rich, warming broth – so delicious! Loved it! 😋 The room was surprisingly clean! Here, you can immerse yourself in Naxi culture and be wonderfully looked after. It's truly a hidden gem in Lijiang! I'll definitely bring my family next time 🥰

GGuest UserThis hotel is truly unique, and both the rooms and common areas are impeccably clean! The staff are all incredibly genuine and sincere, providing excellent service. As long as their car was available, they'd offer us rides whenever we left the hotel. They even proactively gave us oxygen tanks and Snickers bars when they knew we were going to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain scenic area! My kids also loved the hotel activities like fruit picking, handicrafts, and horse riding! We had unlimited drinks every day, and the coffee was delicious. The hotpot included in the package was also very generous – we couldn't even finish it all! The only drawback is the external environment. The hotel is located in the very natural Yuhu Village, quite close to a pasture, so there are a lot of flies. Eating in the restaurant while constantly swatting flies was the only unpleasant part of our experience. The 'Stone House' still has room for improvement, and I hope you continue to get even better!

Before check-in, they proactively contacted me and sent all relevant information like the address, directions, and activities. They always offered to help with luggage, greeted me warmly whenever I came and went, and thoughtfully asked if I needed transportation or meals. It wasn't just commercial politeness; you could feel that they were genuinely good and sincere people!
🌄 The rooms with a second-floor terrace have an absolutely stunning view. You can see the 'golden mountains' at sunrise and sunset right from your room, with the snow-capped mountains practically at your fingertips when you're lying in bed. All the pictures were taken in the room with my phone! Absolutely amazing! I also stayed in a triangular vaulted room and loved the ceiling design! I slept incredibly well! The room photos are exactly what you get; absolutely no misleading pictures!
🍈 The day I arrived, as soon as I settled in, afternoon tea was delivered to my room. It wasn't some perfunctory pre-made stuff; there was delicious ice cream cake and fragrant rose tea! On my last day, I had to leave for the snow mountain before dawn and would miss breakfast, so the night before, the lady prepared a take-out breakfast and delivered it to my room – super thoughtful! After a day of playing, I didn't have an appetite for afternoon tea, so they brought me a full plate of fresh fruit. I was so touched! Every detail shows their sincerity!
🏘️ The hotel is not in the city center, so it's very quiet! During the day, the hotel can arrange transport to the city center, and it's also easy to get a taxi if you go out yourself. Baisha is a small town, different from the hustle and bustle of Lijiang, but it's quiet and convenient. A short walk takes you to the ancient town, and barbershops and convenience stores are all nearby. Because of this hotel, I love this small town even more!!!

GGuest UserThis time, I was traveling with my parents and children, and I deliberately avoided the noisy Old Town of Dayan. I took my friend's recommendation and chose this guesthouse in Yuhu Village, and it turned out to be the perfect choice! The guesthouse is right next to the village parking lot, making self-driving and parking incredibly convenient. My parents and the kids didn't have to walk far when getting in and out of the car.
The entire guesthouse only has six rooms, so it's quiet with few people, offering maximum privacy. It was exceptionally comfortable to stay here. The owner was very enthusiastic and provided us with detailed travel tips. The courtyard is elegantly and cozily decorated. Even on a rainy day, sitting in the courtyard, sipping tea and chatting, gazing at the surrounding mountain scenery, felt incredibly relaxing. The guesthouse also has a coffee area and a restaurant. The local dishes recommended by the owner were authentic and made with fresh ingredients; both the elderly and children thoroughly enjoyed their meals.
The rooms were clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and complete facilities. Our family rested very peacefully. The owner and staff were warm and kind, always ready to help promptly with any needs, providing truly attentive service. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, enjoying a slow-paced time at the foot of the snow-capped mountains, this place is especially suitable for a relaxing family vacation. I wholeheartedly recommend it to friends looking for a quiet getaway! I'm planning another trip with my girlfriends in October!

Who understands the feeling of heading to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain with high hopes, only to be met with a downpour? The entire mountain was completely hidden by thick fog, not even a peek of the snowy peaks. I was genuinely disappointed, but thankfully I booked the Melting Snow Mountain Taohua坞 B&B, which completely made up for the bad weather's letdown 🌧️
I thought the rain would just trap me in my room, but to my surprise, the B&B has its own huge ranch with so many activities, I couldn't sit still! The vast, flat meadows paired with distant mountains and mist created an incredible misty, atmospheric vibe. Photos taken here naturally have a soft-focus filter.
There are tons of outdoor options: you can go boating 🚣, horseback riding, archery 🏹, or even fruit picking~ The wet meadows on a rainy day are surprisingly therapeutic. Slowly soaking in the relaxed mountain wilderness, every casual shot turns into an atmospheric travel masterpiece.
When you're tired from playing outdoors, duck into the handicraft workshop. You can experience making fridge magnets, tie-dye, and traditional local ethnic crafts like Jiamas~ Quietly making unique handicrafts, with the misty mountains outside the window and peace and comfort inside, you can slowly settle your travel emotions. The slow-paced, rainy-day vibe is perfectly captured here.
No need to rush between different attractions; an entire ranch belongs to you. No crowded tourists, just grasslands, forests, and gentle mountain breezes. Even if I didn't get to see the snow mountain as planned, I found a unique kind of Lijiang mountain romance here.
From the room, opening the window reveals the entire ranch. The wooden cabin is warm and healing, and the air after the rain is full of the fresh scent of grass and trees. Instead of fixating on checking off popular snow mountain spots, come here to immerse yourself in slow travel. For sisters worried about not seeing scenery during the rainy season in Lijiang, this place is a must-book!

HHenny P AdiHonestly, I rarely post reviews—but this time I really felt like I had to, because this hotel was the highlight of my family trip to Yunnan.
From the moment we entered the hotel gate, we were already amazed. The place is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The staff member who communicated with us via WeChat was incredibly helpful—from arranging our transfer from the station to the hotel, to accommodating my dietary restrictions as a Muslim. They kindly prepared a special breakfast for us: rice noodles with egg, along with sweet potatoes, corn, and boiled eggs. What made it even more special was that everything was cooked by a very warm grandmother. Despite the language barrier, we could truly feel the warmth and love in her cooking.
The cabin we booked was absolutely perfect. It had a spacious yard, a hot tub, and a terrace with a table and chairs—great for dining or simply spending time together with family. Stepping inside the cabin was even more impressive: a large bed, lots of natural light, and equipped with smart home devices. One important detail for us was the bathroom—it had a bidet and a fully smart toilet with remote control. Since the temperature in Lijiang varies greatly between day and night, we were very grateful that the cabin had both floor heating and room heating. The bedroom also featured a large projector, and above it, a sunroof that can be opened—perfect for stargazing at night. It truly exceeded all our expectations.
The hotel area is also next to a very aesthetic café with a stunning view called Yuntian Cafe. For those traveling with family, this place is perfect—the area is spacious and great for kids to explore nature. If you want to go out for meals, Baisha Ancient Town is just a few kilometers away.
What I will remember the most is the kindness of the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, always doing their best to accommodate every request. Please never change—your hospitality feels just like being with family. Next time we visit Lijiang, we will definitely stay here again without hesitation.

GGuest UserThis hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable! Situated right near Baisha Ancient Town and at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, it boasts a prime, front-row view of the mountain. With unspoiled agricultural land in front, the panoramic views are completely unobstructed. You can soak in the majestic snow-capped peaks right from your room, and even witness the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' spectacle from your bed. The ambiance and viewing experience were incredible, making this the most delightful stay of our Lijiang trip.
The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. As we stayed for two nights, the hotel kindly arranged airport transfers, making everything seamless and stress-free. They also provided daily shuttle service to and from Baisha Ancient Town, which was super convenient for exploring and saved us the hassle of driving or finding taxis. Beyond that, the hotel offered immersive Naxi cultural experiences like tea pressing and 'Jiama' woodblock printing, which allowed us to truly delve into local customs and added so much richness and fun to our journey.
The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our stay. They greeted us cheerfully, patiently recommended local specialty foods and off-the-beaten-path routes, and all their suggestions were incredibly useful. During downtime, they'd even invite guests to gather downstairs for tea and a chat. Their genuine and heartfelt approach made us feel completely at ease and welcome, as if we were visiting our own backyard. Their meticulous care and concern were evident in every interaction, truly making us feel at home.

Choosing Tingxueju for my stay in Lijiang was an excellent experience overall, and I just had to share my honest thoughts.
First off, the guesthouse's ambiance is truly wonderful, completely living up to my imagination of Lijiang Old Town! The courtyard is beautifully maintained, with flowers and plants artfully arranged. Sitting there, sipping tea and soaking up the sun, was incredibly relaxing. The room decor also features strong local characteristics, with wooden structures and ethnic soft furnishings. It was very quiet at night, ensuring a great night's sleep.
The only slight drawback was that the facilities felt a little outdated. For instance, the heating in the room was quite slow to react, and the water temperature and pressure for showering at night were a bit inconsistent. I hope the owner can gradually upgrade these. Also, there was no proactive cleaning service during my stay, which can be a bit inconvenient for guests staying multiple days. It would be perfect if there could be a simple tidying up each day.
However, these minor issues don't overshadow the positives. Tingxueju's location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere, and the owner is very warm and welcoming, offering many great travel tips. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Lijiang, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a peaceful environment!

DDangdangransssI absolutely loved the whole vibe of this five-star hotel. It was so quiet and comfortable, with a great sense of style. When I checked in, they thoughtfully arranged a room directly facing Jade Dragon Snow Mountain for me. It was incredibly relaxing to just sit by the window and watch the snow-capped peaks in my free time. The front desk was very attentive; they proactively asked if I was driving, and the free parking lot had plenty of spaces, plus the charging stations were fully equipped and easy to use. The location is superb, close to both the high-speed train station and the airport, making it super convenient whether you've just arrived or are about to depart. The entire room was clean and tidy, with soft furnishings, and you could even have food deliveries sent directly to your door. The front desk was efficient and quick in responding to my inquiries, and the service throughout was meticulous and generous. This is definitely a hotel you won't forget once you've stayed here.

CChitrlada HarnWhen my mother agreed to visit Lijiang with me, I browsed many hotels in Trip.com and sorted out this hotel out of many hotels with good reviews without knowing beforehanded that this will fulfill my satisfaction to the most. Before we got there, I contacted the hotel if it is comfortable for my mom to stay there because she is 88 years old and need to use wheelchair. After that they made up a wechat group to facilitate us. The staff who took care of us , xiao juan , helped us with the trip plan, escorted us to the ancient town of Dayan and Shuhe ,lead us to understand the town of Baisha and helped us with everything we need. She shows her emphaty to people with everthing she does.All the staffs there are young , polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is very suitable for exploring the ancient town of Baisha. The view of the snow mountain can be seen from the inner garden and more clearly from the third floor of the hotel.The room is comfortable with good quality bedsheet , blanket , towels and the heating floor. The breakfast is adequate with a set of chinese small dishes together with a choice of boiled rice or noodles. They provide free coffee all day with daily afternoon tea set and late night sweet soup and plum wine. I feel like I have nothing to ask more and wish to express my gratitude to all the staffs here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all who need to receive impressive service from these lovely staffs.
