SShivanI actually have a new 'home' in Lijiang now! I scoured all the B&Bs near Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in Lijiang, all to find a room with a view of the 'Golden Mountain' sunrise. I finally chose this one, where you can watch the sunrise from your room. The butler contacted me before check-in and created a service group. Everyone says B&Bs are tough to run these days, and everyone is upping their service game. This 'thousand-yuan' B&B truly exceeded my expectations. Upon arrival, a butler was there to help with luggage. Before check-in, they carefully asked about my breakfast preferences and afternoon tea likes. They also thoroughly explained all the hidden features of the room. No need to mention the kids' toiletries, nail care kit, and makeup remover kit. All toiletries were from Jo Malone. They even thoughtfully prepared 'photo props' like sunglasses and shawls. The room even had amenities like a washing machine, dryer, and water dispenser. More comprehensive than the appliances at home! The butler upgraded my room type. The terrace came with a photogenic shallow pool, a large bed, and a heating fireplace, creating an absolutely fantastic ambiance. I had a brief chat with the owner, and they now own several B&Bs in Yunnan. This one is also a newly opened and upgraded venture. They've hosted many celebrities! On the day of check-in, I immediately recommended it to many friends. If I get the chance to come to Lijiang again, this will still be my first choice. (If I can still book it then) Words can't fully capture the real experience. I truly love it!

Tucked away in Xingshan Village, Baisha Ancient Town, this secret B&B offers a tranquil escape from the crowds of the old town, featuring only snow-capped mountains, meadows, starry nights, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Manxian Bay is more than just an B&B; it's a sanctuary that encourages you to slow down and truly experience the essence of life.

The staff were enthusiastic and attentive, proactively upgrading us to a snow mountain view room, which added an extra touch of surprise to our three-day, two-night stay. The welcome milk tea upon arrival was impressive, and the hotel also offers latte, hot chocolate, homemade wine, white wine, red wine, and an abundance of fresh fruit all day long – truly a fruit paradise. The daily activity schedule is also very thoughtful, with the hotel providing timely updates via WeChat groups, including breakfast reminders, various activity options throughout the day, afternoon tea, and evening sleep-aid drinks. The environment is clean and comfortable, and the service is meticulous. Staying over Christmas, they even arranged fireworks in the evening, creating a fantastic atmosphere. Overall, the entire experience offered great value for money, and I would be willing to stay here again.

MM22195****This was the most satisfying stay of my Lijiang trip. At first, I didn't even notice the entrance, but the moment the staff led us into the lobby, I was absolutely amazed. Every corner of the guesthouse is a scenic spot; from the overall design to the smallest details, you can feel the owner's dedication. The guesthouse has 10 rooms, all named after months. We stayed in the one called ”Youbei” (which means January in Naxi, coincidentally the same month as my daughter's birthday), and the room style was the minimalist aesthetic I love. Lying on the bean bag chair and asking 'Xiao Du' (a smart speaker) to open the curtains, I was instantly soothed by the view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and the layered natural landscape outside. The subsequent hike to Longnv Lake, horseback riding, mushroom foraging at the foot of the snowy mountain, and the evening fireside chats all significantly enhanced our experience. The guesthouse's thoughtfully arranged exquisite meals for morning, afternoon, and evening allowed us to savor delicious matsutake hotpot, handmade baba bread, and Naxi cured pork ribs. Compared to restaurants in the alleys, the taste and presentation were slightly superior. Actually, the biggest takeaway from this stay was discovering the guesthouse's ”treasure” – Sister 63. She's an older sister full of positive energy and drive, and also the guesthouse owner. Born and raised in Yuhu Village, her local connection helped us understand Lijiang more deeply, learn about Dongba culture, and see the travel journals left by previous guests. This stay was about experiencing local customs and human warmth. I'll definitely come back because there are still many ”stories” I haven't heard enough of, and many shared feelings I haven't had a chance to discuss.

I stayed on the second floor and was rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Yulong Snow Mountain. Waking up to such a stunning sight was an absolute highlight. The guesthouse is conveniently located near Baisha Ancient Town, which made it easy to explore the local attractions. I appreciated how accessible everything was, allowing me to immerse myself in the rich culture and history of the area. Overall, my stay at 37 Courtyard Ancient Town was a memorable one. __YX17232****Lying by Wenhai Lake, with a gentle breeze caressing my face, I felt an incredible sense of peace. This trip was truly worth it. Before New Year's Day, I was debating whether to travel. I wanted a place that was accessible by direct flight, uncrowded, good for relaxing, and scenic. I narrowed it down to Dali, Lijiang, and Tengchong, and ultimately, the hotel choice sealed the deal. Lijiang has many hotels, countless with snow mountain views, but I'm quite particular about my accommodations. Since I mainly wanted some alone time, I preferred something a bit more secluded, less crowded, and comfortable. After two days of searching, I finally chose Lismore, and the reviews I saw suggested the views were stunning. To be honest, I was a bit nervous before arriving, as some reviews can be misleading. A small section of the road was a bit bumpy, but that just made me more excited – a bit off the beaten path, fewer people, likely beautiful scenery. And sure enough, once I arrived at the hotel, I knew I'd made the right choice. The views are truly beautiful, words can't do them justice, I'll share photos later. The service was also very thoughtful, with airport transfers and a dedicated butler. The food was decent, and while the price might be a bit higher, it's reasonable given its distance from the city and the lack of nearby restaurants. The hotel also organizes lake tours and has its own small farm with adorable animals that aren't afraid of people. They even offer sweet soup in the evenings. Oh, and most importantly, the room I chose was a two-story duplex. On the first floor, opening the window gives you views of Wenhai Lake and the small farm. The second-floor bedroom window overlooks Jade Dragon Snow Mountain – simply idyllic. It's incredibly relaxing to read on the small balcony outside the room, interact with the animals at the farm, or stroll by Wenhai Lake. It's a super-duper recommended spot for leisure and relaxation.

MM457515****Booked for three days and two nights, then extended for another day – I really didn't want to leave! Service: The location is very easy to find, and there's a parking lot right next to the guesthouse, which is super convenient for those driving. For guests taking public transport to Lijiang, the owner personally picks them up and drops them off. When we went to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the owner woke up early to prepare breakfast for us in advance and thoughtfully provided bottled water, oxygen, and small cakes. Food: The breakfast rice noodles were delicious, and there were also mini wontons, tea eggs, fruit, small sweet sausages. The coffee and afternoon tea were also excellent, with freshly baked waffles and small cakes that all tasted great. Environment: The air conditioning was strong, so it wasn't cold at all. The bed was very comfortable, and on the second morning, we could even see the 'Golden Mountain' (referring to the sunrise on the snow-capped mountains) from our room's balcony. It's especially suitable for those who love to relax and enjoy a quiet atmosphere.

CChoo1234.5 stars. Almost perfect . I wish I could give it 5 stars but have some disappointments and rough around the edges. A unique resort. The places is beautiful and harmony with nature. We stayed 5 days, 4 nights and didn't feel the need to leave the resort at all. Picturesque scenery. You come here to relax, wall and enjoy the fresh air, and take a million photos. Tea break at their stunning cliff side cafe is inclusive. Also singing and drinking after dinner was a warm experience. Food was delicious, although more variety would be appreciated for long stay guests. The pet dogs and cats deserve their own 5 stars! Super friendly and tame - our kids loved playing with them. The staff treated and trained the animals really well. Horses for riding (extra fee) was a great experience. Next time will take lessons. Service was warm and sincere. Always with a smile. The staff was genuine, friendly, polite, helpful. I cannot say enough good things about them. They really tried to give their best to meet our needs. I felt really at home and we were treated very well. The negatives. Things are inconsistent. We had a beautiful skylight to see stars but it was so dirty that we can hardly see through. Cleaning apparently was difficult and couldn't be done, so what's the use ? Our safe was locked by the previous guest and they did not have the ability to reset and open. So we couldn't use it. Our rooms was not cleaned on day 3 and 4. On day 4. they just replenished items. Didn't clean or throw away rubbish. Toilets at the cliffside cafe is terrible state, nobody wash? One dinner, waited for our vegetables for 30 mins. When we asked ”why is it taking long?”, they say ”sorry out of stock'. So had to cancel. Coffee machine had problems , milk tube or valve clogged? could not make milk drinks (e.g cappuccino, latte) during last 2 days. Archery had many broken arrows , less than half can be used. They also offered cup noodles for free! Ask us if we wanted. Very nice gesture, but then they say ”sorry no more cup noodles”. Did not replenish during our trip. Overall an excellent experience, would come again. Could be perfect, but given the price , I would not expect to encounter these negatives mentioned.

Absolutely top-notch! The quality is truly impressive! Cleanliness: I have to say, this is one of the guesthouses where I'd give five stars for cleanliness. Even for someone as picky as me, the hygiene is so good you can confidently go for it! 'Sweet Tele' Afternoon Tea: Their afternoon tea cakes are seriously the best I've had at any guesthouse. I even asked if I could buy the matcha red bean cake after checking out! So delicious! Service: This deserves a hundred points! It was my husband and I's wedding anniversary, and the manager upgraded our room to one with a direct view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain – absolutely superb! Before check-in, they also created a group chat where someone was always online. No matter what problem you encountered, you could ask for help there. My husband suffered from severe altitude sickness, and even late at night, the manager didn't hesitate to drive us to the hospital for oxygen. Their thoughtfulness was like family! I sincerely recommend everyone to choose this place with confidence! When I go to Lijiang next time, I will definitely stay here again. Looking forward to seeing you!

The windows framed the mountain views like a living wallpaper; by day, it was a vibrant green tapestry, and in the evenings, the peaks were bathed in stunning orange and pink hues. Every casual photo looked like a cinematic screenshot. The ”Golden Mountain at Sunrise” (日照金山) viewed from the rooftop was an absolutely unforgettable, breathtaking spectacle. Watching the snow-capped peaks slowly transform from steely grey to shimmering gold, with the first rays of light touching my face, it felt as if even the wind held its breath. This sheer, majestic grandeur is a moment no filter could ever hope to capture. The evening bonfire party truly embodied the most vibrant and authentic local atmosphere. As dusk settled, the bonfire by the entrance sprang to life. Naxi aunties led everyone in traditional 'datiao' dances, the firewood crackled merrily, and songs mixed with laughter echoed up the hillside. We drank local rice wine and joined the circle, feeling the day's serene tranquility transition seamlessly into the lively energy of the night. From the 'Golden Mountain' at dawn to the late-night bonfire, from the stunning mountain views from our room to the fresh scent of flora and fauna with every breath, this place perfectly blends the refined elegance of 'French-inspired rustic luxury' with the genuine, untouched spirit of Lijiang's wilderness. It creates a compelling reason to want to return and stay here again and again. Next time I visit Lijiang, I'll definitely be staying here again!
