It completely exceeded my expectations, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a slow-paced, relaxing getaway in Lijiang with stunning snow mountain views.
The hotel's location is superb. Stepping through the entrance, I was immediately struck by the huge, perfectly manicured lawn – a clean and refreshing expanse of green that felt incredibly soothing in the gentle breeze. Every photo I took here turned out beautifully, full of atmosphere, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll or a picturesque photoshoot. The hotel as a whole is tranquil and elegant, far removed from the city's hustle and bustle. The serene and comfortable atmosphere instantly brought a sense of relaxation to my vacation.
The guest rooms are truly five-star premium. The rooms are incredibly spacious with a logical and open layout. The overall decor is high-end and elegant, with exquisite and well-thought-out details that prevent any feeling of confinement, ensuring maximum comfort. The hotel's amenities, bedding, toiletries, and all other supplies are of exceptional quality, with a delicate touch and an excellent user experience, truly showcasing the thoughtfulness and quality of a luxury hotel. What was most stunning was the incredible view. From the room, I had an unobstructed, direct view of the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The snow-capped peaks, blue sky, and white clouds were all within sight, like a constantly moving natural painting. In the morning, there was no need to rush out; I could just relax in my room and quietly await the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise' moment. As the golden glow spread across the snow-capped peak, the entire mountain shimmered with golden light, grand and incredibly beautiful. The sense of awe and healing is hard to put into words, and it was truly the most unforgettable sight of my trip.
Beyond the beautiful environment and top-notch facilities, the hotel's service was flawless. It was five-star attentive service throughout. The staff were warm, thoughtful, gentle, and patient, from check-in to responding to daily requests, they were meticulous and always willing to help. The entire experience was comfortable and heartwarming, making me feel incredibly welcome. The hotel also has a super cute and gentle dog named 'Boss,' who is well-behaved, adorable, and incredibly therapeutic. Interacting and playing with him in my free time instantly relieved my travel fatigue, adding to the wonderful atmosphere.
The dining experience was equally delightful. The hotel's chefs are incredibly skilled. Whether it was home-style dishes or authentic Yunnan specialties, everything was prepared with excellent color, aroma, and taste. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were superb. Every dish brought a sense of pure happiness. Even more thoughtful, the hotel offers a complimentary exquisite afternoon tea. Several beautifully presented pastries paired with refreshing drinks, enjoyed by the window with the snow mountain view – it was a cozy and romantic experience, perfectly embodying the relaxation and beauty of a vacation.

GGuest UserI originally planned to stay for two nights, but the overall experience was so comfortable that I extended my stay for a third night.
**Environment:** It's very close to Bai Sha (White Sands), and I mostly walked back. If you prefer not to walk, the butler service for pick-up and drop-off is very enthusiastic and convenient.
**Cleanliness:** The cleanliness was impeccable, and the attention to detail was excellent. All bath towels and disposable cups were individually packaged. For the private hot spring, they even provided disposable bath liners, which was a thoughtful and thorough service. Plus, there's no need for a kettle; they have a water dispenser with adjustable temperature.
**Service:** The breakfast selection each morning was abundant, and the wontons and 'er si' (a type of rice noodle) tasted authentic. Since I was going hiking in the mornings, they even prepared breakfast bags for me in advance. The afternoon tea was good, though the desserts could be a bit more refined, haha!

GGuest UserFinally got around to reviewing! This was our first stop on the trip and the experience was fantastic. The room was huge and smelled so fresh, absolutely no weird odors. The bedding was super comfy too, I slept really well. From the small pavilion in the field, you can see the snow-capped mountains directly – lounging in a chair watching the mountains was incredibly relaxing. The B&B owners were lovely, and breakfast was rich and plentiful. They even have their own pasture where you can watch the 'golden sunrise over snow-capped mountains.' The electric scooter was also very convenient for getting around. All in all, a great experience! 👍

GGuest UserWe had the most delightful stay at Wanchuanxu Hotel in Lijiang's Baisha Ancient Town!
The hotel boasts an excellent location and a fantastic design overall, with different rooms offering varying snow mountain views. My child was absolutely thrilled to see the snow-capped mountains through the large window in our room; we didn't even have to leave to enjoy the 'Golden Mountain in the Morning Sun' phenomenon.
The hotel is right at the entrance of Baisha Ancient Town, making it super convenient for dining and relaxation with just a few minutes' walk. It's also only about a 10-minute drive from the new Yulong Snow Mountain Tourist Service Center, making access to the mountain by the scenic train incredibly easy.
Before our arrival, the hotel butler created a chat group to communicate every service detail, showing great enthusiasm and meticulousness. Unlike other hotels that might offer a welcome fruit platter, they provided exquisite afternoon tea, a shoulder and neck spa, and a sweet soup every evening after we checked in.
The hotel's facilities really stood out: a Moen digital shower (easy to select showerheads, accurate temperature setting – the best I've encountered in any hotel), a Dyson hairdryer, a TOTO smart toilet, and a Marshall speaker.
From the comfortable rooms to the attentive service, every detail made us feel incredibly warm and welcome. I highly recommend this hotel to travelers seeking quality; it's definitely a five-star vacation choice!

GGuest UserI'm writing this review on my way out of Lijiang, and I have to say, this guesthouse came highly recommended by a friend who had just stayed here. The room was exactly as pictured, and you could even see the snow-capped mountains from the rooftop. If the conditions were right, you might even catch the 'golden summit' sunrise. I ended up extending my stay for another night.
#Cleanliness
The room was spacious and spotless. The bathroom even came with disposable towels, and the toilet had disposable seat covers, alcohol wipes, and a brand new pack of tissues.
#Service
They contacted me a day in advance to arrange luggage pickup. The guesthouse owner was incredibly responsive, almost always replying to messages instantly, and very welcoming. When I felt unwell after coming down from the snow mountain, they even checked in on me the next day before I left to see if I was feeling better. Knowing we hadn't had lunch before leaving, they packed us a bag of food.

It's very close to where taxis drop off near the ancient town entrance, just a two to three-minute walk. The main street is only about a hundred meters away – you step right out onto it – but it's surprisingly quiet and not noisy at all.

I absolutely loved the guesthouse's breakfast! Even with altitude sickness affecting my appetite, all I wanted was the rice noodles made by the kind lady. The breakfast was incredibly rich and plentiful; you'll definitely leave full. There's also afternoon tea, usually hand-drip coffee, and a goodnight dessert like hot milk or tremella soup.

GGuest UserLocated right at the entrance of the village, it's very convenient for self-driving, as going further in can lead to traffic jams. The entire guesthouse, including the courtyard, is beautifully and exquisitely designed. The room decor is high-end and cozy, and even the toiletries like shower gel are premium, making you feel comfortable using them. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The owners, both the husband and wife, are lovely and kind people, very warm and polite.

LLisa 丽莎Initially, we booked the family suite but had to change the room due to an issue with the toilet. The boss was very helpful and quickly arranged a new room for us. The new room was much more comfortable, so we are thankful to the boss for that.
Regarding cleanliness, we wish the rooms could be cleaner. The hotel should pay more attention to hygiene, especially that of the toilet.
Another inconvenience was that there were many mosquitos in the room. Fortunately, the hotel provided a mosquito killer racquet and killer mats, so we were able to eliminate most of the mosquitos. Perhaps the mosquitos find some breeding grounds on the beautiful patio in the middle of the house.
The location of the hotel is good. It's very quiet but close enough to most of the attractions in the city of Lijiang.
The service attitude is very good. The boss and the cleaning lady are very kind and attentive. The lady prepared a nice breakfast for us, so thank you. The boss helped us book a taxi for the day we were leaving early in the morning. We really appreciate the kind service provided by the staff.
Regarding price for value, we think it might be a bit overpriced given the condition of the rooms.
Overall, this hotel is very beautiful. The furniture is traditional and beautiful. The central patio is exquisite and we loved the traditional Chinese design. The staff is kind and attentive.

CChitrlada HarnWhen my mother agreed to visit Lijiang with me, I browsed many hotels in Trip.com and sorted out this hotel out of many hotels with good reviews without knowing beforehanded that this will fulfill my satisfaction to the most. Before we got there, I contacted the hotel if it is comfortable for my mom to stay there because she is 88 years old and need to use wheelchair. After that they made up a wechat group to facilitate us. The staff who took care of us , xiao juan , helped us with the trip plan, escorted us to the ancient town of Dayan and Shuhe ,lead us to understand the town of Baisha and helped us with everything we need. She shows her emphaty to people with everthing she does.All the staffs there are young , polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is very suitable for exploring the ancient town of Baisha. The view of the snow mountain can be seen from the inner garden and more clearly from the third floor of the hotel.The room is comfortable with good quality bedsheet , blanket , towels and the heating floor. The breakfast is adequate with a set of chinese small dishes together with a choice of boiled rice or noodles. They provide free coffee all day with daily afternoon tea set and late night sweet soup and plum wine. I feel like I have nothing to ask more and wish to express my gratitude to all the staffs here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all who need to receive impressive service from these lovely staffs.

CClinomaniac LyeI recommend conducting thorough research before making reservations to fully understand what to expect. We were somewhat surprised by the campsite-style setup, as we booked based solely on website photos without delving into the specifics.
While the facilities are adequate, the layout lacks privacy. For instance, to use the cabin's toilet, all curtains on the first level must be closed. Additionally, the toilet bowl is situated behind stairs without any curtains, potentially allowing others in the cabin to see. Moreover, the second-level flooring consists of planks with numerous gaps, providing visibility to the first level, including the bathtub and toilet bowl.
I strongly advise against booking this accommodation for families with children due to the safety risk posed by the sliding doors on the second level, which lack safety measures. While they offer a unique view of the mountain, the danger of potential falls is significant. If you do choose to consider it as a family cabin, I recommend checking with the staff to lock the doors from the outside for added safety.
Despite the unexpected aspects mentioned above, our overall stay was still decent. The staff were hospitable and helpful throughout our visit. Communication was convenient via WeChat for check-in details, recommendations, and self-checkout. It seems that the camping style of accommodation was a selling point, it’s definitely a unique stay. I’m sure there’s a specific crowd that would fully enjoy the experience.
