Great
LLuna Wong JyHappy with the stay, smaller but compact. All staffs are so friendly with the security. We have bought some Amanda Cakes around and there was no fridge in hotel but we request to keep in their fridge and all went fine. No hair dryer ready but you can call and request from the receptionist.
KKenny Bee GHI had a wonderful stay at Harper Premier Hotel Batam. The location in Nagoya Thamrin is very convenient – food, shopping, and everything else are within walking distance.
The room was comfortable, similar in quality to other hotels in the same chain (Fave, Aston, Harper). The smart TV was a nice touch, though it lagged occasionally, and the internet went down a few times for a few minutes before coming back online.
Housekeeping did a great job providing clean linen daily, and laundry service was excellent. Room service food tasted great – loved the flavors. One small issue: the QR code on the bedside screen didn’t work, but the front desk gave me a number to place my order without trouble.
Breakfast selection was decent, with the menu changing slightly each day – good for guests staying multiple days. The culinary team did a nice job.
A big thank you to the Front Office team, especially Minty and Mr. Yon, for their helpful assistance. The security and safety team were also very friendly and helpful.
Thanks to everyone – hope to see you again soon!
AAzy AbdullahSaw this and it's amenities and felt it was the best for me and my 3 kids. Decided to try this out didn't realize it was further than I'm usually used to.
We arrived in the evening but was greeted by a cheerful receptionist.
Please note there is a 1 mil rupiah deposit. I wasn't prepared for this so I thought to give this a heads up for future booking awareness.
The place was alittle hard to spot from the main road ( there was no signage) but it's landmarks are Cubezone and Ria.
Note, there is a laundry service across the road please expect 1-2 days. Express service is 1 day
The entrance is a dainty little walkway like a secret hideout into a cactus garden that somehow transports you to what looks like Bali crossed with New Mexico feels.
A small but clean pool, well maintained. They have dining table and benches outside for a chill out vibe. There's also a BBQ space where you can engage in their BBQ rental (provides charcoal n pit) with a ceiling fan n sink for your convenience and comfort.
Area is nice and spacious. Once again I just emphasize, they keep it very clean.
The place it seems is 6 container villas surrounding the garden n pool. Which is perfect if you plan to have a big group in.
Inside there's a basic kitchenette with a fridge, pot, kettle.
There were 2 rooms. Both equipped with bathrooms and tvs. Ac was perfection.you don't have to worry about the heat. It's so nice and cold. Makes you wanna just not get out of bed.
The wifi was laggy alittle, didn't bother us as we had local data but it wasn't so nice to be watching a movie and gettin disrupted.
TV is equipped with YOUTUBE and Netflix. Pretty awesome to keep the kids occupied.
Be warned they have live bands that play music till 1-2 am in the morning. Definately didn't expect that but it didn't bother us so much. Once again, another heads up.
Pool is open from 7am to 9pm.
Its also a 15-20mins drive to Nagoya. We normally do Grab roughly about 60-70k.
The host has their number in the welcome print and responds pretty fast if you need to enquire on anything.
Overall, the place is pretty charming and despite it being alittle far from massages n karaoke, I think I found a new go to place. Certainly looking forward to be back.
CchingyeeluckyThis is the best hotel in Batam that I’d recommend to anyone. The location is super convenient. A lot of beautiful cafes and eateries nearby. Close to shopping mall as well. Service was superb. The staf was friendly and attentive.
WWayne Goh89Hotel Santika offers a great location and excellent service. The staff were consistently polite, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay.
What truly deserves special mention is their thoughtful breakfast service. Breakfast is available from 6:00am to 10:00am, but I had an early ferry at 6:00am and couldn’t make it. The staff offered a takeaway option, and the team kindly arranged to prepare my breakfast early at 5:00am. I honestly expected the request might be overlooked, but they exceeded my expectations.
To my surprise, everything was carefully packed: a box of bread and a bento set with the fried rice I requested, along with some fried fish, cutlery, and a bottle of drinking water. The attention to detail was impressive and made my morning so much easier.
It was a genuinely pleasant experience, and I’ll definitely return if I’m staying in Batam again. Thank you, Team Hotel Santika!
AAsh MotosirThis hotel boasts an ideal location, offering easy access to diverse dining options, local markets, and major shopping malls. For relaxation, there are many massage shops close by. Food lovers will appreciate the abundance of Indonesian and Chinese culinary choices. The area is anchored by two key malls, Grand Mall and Batam City Mall, and includes a large food court that is open late into the evening.
AAyunisxEska hotel is located behind a newly opened mall. Corridor of the level 3 we stayed in reek of cigarette smell. Lucky there’s a new mall that is not fully opened yet, else the area is very quiet and out of the way. Have to take Grab everywhere we go and on average is about 21K THB to main City area. Room wise, spotted an insect at sink area hence not very clean. Breakfast was good, though variety not much. Conclusion, fine for a 1-2 nights stay in Batam and don’t expect too much from the price point as well.

Cleanliness: The room, including the bathroom, was very clean. Staff cleaned the room daily.
Environment: The room was filled with a scent, which I personally didn't care for. The room faced the street and was extremely noisy. On the first night, I had a splitting headache and had to buy painkillers from across the street just to get some sleep. Light sleepers might find this quite challenging.
Service: The staff were very pleasant, polite, and efficient.
