Batam Hotels with Balcony

As a frequent business traveler and hotel enthusiast, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations👏 The moment I stepped into the room, it felt bright and spacious. The room size was more generous than many hotels of the same caliber I've stayed in before. There was ample space for luggage, and the work and leisure areas were clearly delineated, completely free from any cramped feeling. The attention to detail in the design was truly impressive. The amenities were thoughtful and comprehensive. The room was equipped with a self-service laundry machine, so I didn't have to worry about accumulating dirty laundry during my week-long business trip – it was incredibly convenient. What surprised me most was the shower experience: the water pressure was strong and steady, and there was plenty of hot water, hitting my body with just the right force. After a long day of travel, a shower completely washed away all my fatigue. This kind of comfort in the details is precisely the standard a five-star hotel should uphold👍 Overall, my stay was impeccable. I will definitely choose this place again for my next business trip here.

I arrived from Singapore by ferry to Batam Centre Ferry Terminal. During peak hours/traffic, it took about 15-20 minutes. I took a Grab, but for some reason, I couldn't pay via the app when I got off, so I had to pay cash! The hotel is conveniently located right next to a large shopping mall with direct access. There's a pretty good massage place in the mall. The hotel surroundings are beautiful. I've been there two or three times, highly recommended.

Though a bit far from the center, you can grab or gojek anywhere easily. The suite, bed, kitchen, etc are in good condition. The breakfast spread at Wyndham hotel was good and I really like that you can squeeze your own preferred fruit juice. Eska wellness and spa is co- located , very convenient. Lastly, one of the best views of the morning sun in Batam and the joy of seeing the endless motorbike on the busy highway. However, something could be done with the bathroom's musky smell. Small issue but could be better.

I recently stayed at Planet Holiday Hotel Batam for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. One of the highlights of my stay was being pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which made the trip even more comfortable and memorable. The suite was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel’s location is excellent and one of its biggest advantages. It’s conveniently surrounded by shopping malls, plenty of food options, convenience stores, and Batam’s vibrant nightlife, making it easy to explore the area without travelling far. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a hotel that offers great value, a strategic location, comfortable rooms, and excellent hospitality, I would definitely recommend Planet Holiday Hotel Batam. This hotel was my absolute favorite! It was super cheap and offered great value for money, plus it included breakfast, which was delicious. The surroundings were beautiful, and while the room's bathtub was a bit dated and sticky, it was still kept very clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. It's perfect for both kids and adults visiting Batam, making for a perfect trip.

Check in was smooth. Villa was big, love the spacious living room. Unfortunately need to improve on housekeeping cleanliness. There was a standing stack of cigarette ash left on the dining table beside the pool. There was unwashed coffe stain on the rim of the coffee mug, no stirrer was provided for the coffee and tea satchets, not thoughtful. We hardly use the 3rd floor so cant comment. You need to move the furniture yourself if you wanna sit outside on the 3rd flr. Master bedroom was huge, with view of the sea. Toiletrie, dental kits were provided. The toilet door was abit faulty, could not close properly..sigh.. Bathroom wall looked mouldy/ dirty. We were greeted by thunderstorm the next morning, the wait for buggy took more than 15min in the morning--breakfast peak + inclement weather. Water started seeping into the 2nd flr landing during the pour, and water was dripping from the bathroom...itz crazy..fortunately we were checking out that day already.. Cant comment on other facilities as we didnt get to try..will i go again...maybe after their next round of refurbishment.

Had the best stay in AP Premier Hotel. Booked it for our anniversary, and was given a sweet suprise. And we loved and appreciate it!  Room is cleaned! Only downside was, our room was supposed to be smoke-free room, but when we first entered, the cigarette smell was too strong! But the smell slowly clears after we sprayed our own perfume to kill the cigarette smell. But overall, we enjoyed our trip, and would recommend it, and will definitely come back again!

The staff were the highlight of the stay — consistently polite, humble, and attentive, providing excellent service throughout. Unfortunately, the villa itself was quite run down and appeared to lack proper upkeep and maintenance, which was disappointing given my expectations. There is insufficient power plug for phone / tablet charging. The breakfast spread was decent, with a reasonable variety of options to start the day. Overall, while the service was excellent, the condition of the villa fell short of expectations. Would I return? No.

Booked the escape room which comes with Wellness body massage. This was previously Swiss Bel-inn hotel. I spent most of my time at Eska Spa there. It is about 5 mins ride to Nagoya Hill hotel. Breakfast was included in my package, and it is sufficient for a night stay. But I was utterly disappointed at the front desk service and the room. While I arrived early (around 12 plus), they said to come back after 2pm and not suggesting anything else on what to do during the wait. I am working in hotel line for over a decade, and honestly, I wished the girls had done better. I had to ask where the spa was, and after confused while, I managed to find it. The lift was being fixed when I arrived, and glass sliding door to the staircase was not working. I had reached out to the spa team the day before, as instructed in this channel, to book a slot. But they also did not get back to me, and was debating on whether the inclusion was correct or not. After about 10 minutes of waiting while the spa girls checked with Front desk, I said I had intended to buy 6-in-1 package. Only then I was given much attention (I was the only guest in the spa, by the way). And they then realised I was also a member. Things got better at the spa, but for the room, it was smelt of cigarettes. I could not stand the strong smell and the poor bell hop tried to spray the room with Glade, but it did not help. He brought an air purifier after I mentioned it, and then I decided to leave the room to Nagoya mall. Upon my return, the smell was much better, though the cigarettes smell is found on the pillows. There is a nice cafe and swimming pool, but I did not get to utilise them. Also, apparently there's two wings, and both wings have the same room numbers. I was given the old wing at the corner and I can hear the doors of my neighbours opening and closing. On my last day, there was a manager going around while we are having breakfast and he surprised me as I was eating when he approached. He greeted others as well as he went on his rounds at the restaurant. A good presentation. Anyway, for a night stay, it is sufficient because you don't have to leave the property if you intend to spend a whole spa day there.

We stayed for two nights and had a truly wonderful experience. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, especially the bed and pillows. Having a balcony facing the garden was a lovely bonus. The surroundings were relaxing and peaceful, with a warm atmosphere and direct access to a clean, private beach. The staff were welcoming, helpful and always ready with a friendly smile. Our kids had a great time enjoying the big pool, cycling, ping pong, gym and the dedicated kids’ room for children under 12. The breakfast buffet offered good variety and was satisfying each morning. A special thanks to Sofi, who came to us on both days and encouraged us to try the local kueh, the ongol-ongol and pandan cake, which added a delightful touch to our stay.
