"Checked in on my birthday and the hotel prepared a slice of chocolate cake for me in my room. It was such a pleasant surprise. Staff are friendly. Buffet breakfast is good. Location is excellent - just 5 mins walk from BTC ferry terminal. Opposite is megamall. I will definitely be back!"

JJEFFREY TAY KHPanbil Residence Serviced Apartment surprised me in the best way possible. The moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt calm and welcoming—like a quiet retreat tucked away from the busier parts of the city. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, giving you that “hotel luxury meets home comfort” vibe.
What truly sets this place apart is the view. Waking up to the greenery and lake scenery feels like a reset button for your day. The staff deserves a special mention too—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help without being intrusive.
If you’re looking for a stay that blends convenience, comfort, and a touch of peaceful escape, Panbil Residence is absolutely worth it. A place you’ll want to return to.
Oh ya, Eska Spa and Salon is right beside too.
NNorHailiHotel location was really great! Near to lots of malls and most importantly the room was big! My family and i really had a great stay in the hotel! The staffs were all friendly and helpful! Will definitely boom again if we were to be in batam!
PPapa LimAnother perfect 3D2N stay! Reni and Andika are stars! 🌟
Just finished my second stay at Montigo (7 Dec - 9 Dec) and I’m already planning my next one!
We stayed in Villa 63, which was incredibly clean with all facilities working perfectly. The transfer from the ferry was easy with the bus waiting for us.
The highlight of this trip was definitely the staff:
Reni (Reception): She has such a ”sunshine vibe”! She made check-in easy and explained everything clearly. She genuinely cared about our experience and checked on us throughout the 3 days.
Andika (The Pub): He gave excellent food and drink recommendations and was very patient with all guests.
Service Note: The WhatsApp service for buggies and activities is super efficient. I got prompt replies even late at night (11 PM).
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stress-free getaway!

⭐ Family-Friendly Review: Barelang Resort Batam
We recently stayed at Barelang Resort Batam for a family getaway, and it turned out to be one of the most relaxing and kid-friendly trips we’ve had in a while.
🌅 Location & Scenery
The resort sits right by the water near the iconic Barelang Bridge, so the views—especially during sunrise and sunset—are beautiful. It’s quiet, peaceful, and away from the city crowd, making it perfect for families who want to unwind.
🏨 Rooms
The rooms are spacious and clean, and many come with balcony views facing the sea or the pool. Perfect for families with kids who need space to move around. Housekeeping was quick and helpful throughout our stay.
👨👩👧👦 Family Experience
This resort is truly built for families:
• Kids’ pool that’s safe and shallow
• Plenty of open areas for kids to run around
• Family-friendly activities like kayaking and beach access
• Calm and safe environment, especially for young children and elderly
🍽️ Food
Breakfast had a good variety and was halal-friendly. The restaurant faces the water, which makes mealtimes enjoyable. There are also seafood spots nearby for those who want local flavours.
🏊 Facilities
The infinity pool is the highlight—clean, big, and overlooking the ocean. The whole place feels relaxing and well-maintained. Spa services and recreational areas are also available if you want a slower, pampering day.
🚗 Convenience
The resort is a bit further from Nagoya/center, but Grab is easily available. The peaceful location is worth the extra travel time. Plus, Barelang Bridge and several seaside attractions are nearby.

⭐ Overall Rating: 4.6/5
A wonderful choice for families looking for comfort, safety, and beautiful surroundings. Perfect for a slow-paced holiday where kids can play freely and adults can truly relax.
If you’re planning a family trip to Batam, Barelang Resort Batam is definitely worth considering.
GGuest UserCheck-in was quite fast. Do note that a deposit is required. Lobby was undergoing renovations but it wasn't too bad. Other than the lobby (cos reno), it really is a very beautiful property.
We opted for the studio villa as we wanted the higher walls for privacy. Room was very clean and spacious, bed with lots of pillows was comfortable for me. Room had two ac units which was appreciated as it definitely cooled down the room faster. Smart TV worked fine with loads of channels. Bathroom (& bathtub) was huge but the water pressure was a bit low on the shower/tub tap although was ok for the sink and toilet. Private pool was clean altho i think the wooden slats may need some maintenance work. We didn't encounter much mosquitoes, maybe there was one or two flying around on our last day.
Our room came with two complimentary daily drinks at the restaurant which is smack in the middle of the resort. Breakfast was semi buffet. During check-in, you fill out this slip for each day for your choice of mains. If you want to change your choice, just go back to the reception desk one day before your scheduled breakfast to update your slip. Although there were 3 time slots, we actually came in much earlier before our alloted slot, and it wasn't an issue. Besides breakfast, we also had room service. The food was delicious and quite reasonably priced. Spent abt sgd12 total for nasi goreng and mee goreng. Something that I've never encountered at any other hotel was we had to sign an acknowledgement form when we ordered in, like to say we received 2 plates, 2 spoons etc. Not a big issue.
The best part of Woda is the staff. From housekeeping to property maintenance to restaurant staff, everyone was super friendly and helpful.
GGuest UserThe room was impeccably clean and boasted stunning dual-aspect sea views. Enjoying the breeze on the balcony was incredibly relaxing. The surrounding amenities were excellent; there were plenty of dining options right downstairs, and the local cuisine was particularly delicious. The service was exceptional, with any issues usually resolved promptly.
SSGC KohThe location of the hotel was convenient to places that we wanted to go like massage, shopping etc.
We stayed on the 8th level of the newer wing - the room was big and clean. Aircon was cold enough for our liking. Bed was comfortable.
Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread was good for the price of the room we are paying.
Wifi connection was very bad - connection kept dropping off almost immediately after connection or cannot connect at all - we ended up using our own data plan instead.
The hotel lift takes time - there were times where we waited for a long time for the lift as it was moving very slowly.
Overall, I will book this hotel if I am visiting Batam again.
TThomas96My friends and I recently stayed at Nagoya Mansion Hotel and Residence, and overall, it was a satisfying experience. The hotel is in a very convenient location, just a short walking distance from Nagoya Hill Mall, making it ideal for shopping and dining.
The room facilities were average but adequate, and the cleanliness was up to standard. Although the absence of a hairdryer in the room was a minor inconvenience, the friendly and professional staff more than made up for it. They were very accommodating, even arranging for us to check in early without any additional charges, which was greatly appreciated.
Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. The hotel’s convenient location and excellent service make it highly recommendable to others. With some improvements to the facilities, it would be perfect!
KkharunnisaThe room was quite spacious, and the service was genuinely friendly and good. They even allowed us to store our luggage before check-in, and we could surprisingly still leave our bags even after check-out. The receptionists were all so kind, friendly, and always had a smile on their faces. Plus, it's conveniently located very close to a shopping mall! 😍
