"Pls be mindful Hotel require deposit 100k IDR. When check out, the hotel will check the room first before u get your deposit back. Need to wait around 10mins. Can say cheap rate hotel with 2 breakfast just around rm125 per night. I chose this hotel bcos i arrived Batam night time, so no need fancy hotel hehe. The hotel is not shoplot hotel, the whole building is the hotel. At night quite noisy, not sure why, maybe there’s event at the ballroom hotel. The toilet room is average (quite smelly maybe bcos old hotel), not suitable for fussy person. Same goes to the bed and bed sheet. But the room is so spacious and have kiblat sign (for muslim prayer). Breakfast spread also average, suitable if you not eat much. But still have egg station. Nasi goreng, meehon goreng, cereals, also have. Overall still ok if you stay 1 night."

"I stayed at this hotel once about 15 years ago. Back then, the property was still relatively new, although I remember the room cleanliness was already not up to standard. Returning this time, it is clear that the hotel has not been well maintained. Signs of aging can be seen everywhere, from rusty bathroom light fixtures to damaged toilet seats. Unfortunately, it was raining during my stay, and the bathroom ceiling was leaking. When I checked into the room, it was obvious that the bathroom had not been properly cleaned, as there was hair all over the floor. One of the rooms did not even have basic towels provided. The hotel grounds and surroundings are beautiful, which makes it even more disappointing that the property has not been properly maintained. To make matters worse, I was woken up in the morning by ants crawling on my bed. Overall, the environment is lovely, but the lack of maintenance and cleanliness significantly affected my stay."

"Stayed at Woda Villa & Spa Batam and had a generally pleasant experience. Pros: The location is very convenient, as it’s close to the town area, making it easy to access shops and restaurants options. The 2-bedroom villa is spacious and comfortable, great for families or small groups. Toiletries were also well provided, with sufficient amenities for the stay. Cons: The private pool is on the smaller side, which may be a bit limiting if you’re looking to fully relax or swim. There were quite a number of mosquitoes, although the villa does provide repellent which helps. The breakfast buffet spread is also quite limited, so don’t expect a wide variety of options. Overall: A good stay for those looking for a spacious villa in a convenient location, but with some minor drawbacks in facilities and dining variety"

"There's some miscommunication on the booking as per booking page is either a big bed or 2 single bed. Upon booking did write the bed preference but was not fulfilled. However try to communicate with the staff and trip.com able to be assigned to 2 single bed room. There's slight leakage of the aircon, contact front desk and get it fixed. Hotel breakfast is not nice. Overall the staff is friendly n helpful, and has good location."

"The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. A special mention to Mr. Rangga from the restaurant, who was attentive and always took the time to check that everything was going well. The breakfast buffet was also good, with a decent variety of options available. The only area for improvement would be the lifts. As the property is still undergoing some finishing works, I hope the lift service will continue to improve in the future"

"The room was spacious and comfortable, and the twin beds were very cozy. Both the interior and exterior were clean and tidy, and the service was excellent. Breakfast and afternoon tea were included, which was a nice touch. If I visit Indonesia again, I would definitely stay at this hotel."

"This hotel comes with balcony clean and good price. Surrounding have food court offers all kinds of food. Massage, spa and manicure. All within walking distance. Bed and pillow super comfortable. Highly recommended, if you are visiting Batam."

"Wonderful Stay at Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Grand Mall – Highly Recommended! This was our second stay at Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Grand Mall and once again, it exceeded our expectations. I booked through Trip.com as it offered the best rates compared to other platforms and the experience was seamless from start to finish. We stayed from 23–26 May 2026 as a family of 3 adults and 2 young children (aged 4 and 3). This time, we booked a 1-Bedroom Executive and an Executive King with connecting rooms, which was perfect for both family bonding and privacy. The location is excellent—directly opposite Grand Batam Mall, making shopping, dining and entertainment incredibly convenient. Our kids especially enjoyed Kidzlandia & Batam Zoo Paradise! The hotel is also next to Eska Wellness Spa where you can enjoy massages, hair treatments, manicures and pedicures. Even before arrival, the service was impressive. I contacted the hotel via WhatsApp for a few special requests and the staff were professional, responsive and genuinely accommodating. What we loved most about the 1-Bedroom Executive: • Spacious and spotlessly clean room • 2-in-1 washer and dryer — extremely convenient for families • Kitchenette with microwave & fridge • Hot and cold water dispensers available at every lift lobby • Kids’ pool that our children absolutely loved • Plenty of storage space • Smart TV with Netflix, YouTube, and more • Breakfast was awesome with a wide variety to choose from This time, we were pleasantly surprised with the complimentary hi-tea, which made our afternoons extra special. Every staff member—from the front desk and housekeeping team to the chefs, waiters and bellboys—provided exceptional service with warmth and friendliness throughout our stay. Our family truly enjoyed every moment here and we will definitely be coming back again. "My gf and me stayed here for our Batam trip last weekend. When we first entered our non-smoking room, there was a twinge of vape smell lingering in the air. The room was well spaced out with many useful amenities such as furniture, drinking water, kettle, etc. I find the wall shelf by the TV a nice and useful addition. Our TV doesn’t have Netflix but carry some local channels as well as CNA. Although the few electrical sockets in the room are universal adaptors, they feel a bit loose when plugged in. Aircon and bathroom amenities such as water pressure and hot shower all work smoothly. Our window overlooks the immediate neighbourhood and the room is relatively quiet throughout the stay. Sadly, I didn’t use their Wifi so can’t really comment on that. The hotel’s breakfast buffet had limited variety but the quality was good. The hotel is also at a convenient location within walking distance of two big malls, so plenty of food and entertainment! All the staff we encountered in this hotel was super friendly and helpful. We only had one keycard given to us during check-in so when I was accidentally stuck downstairs without a card, the lady at the concierge quickly made me a new one so I could get back to my room. The day after checking out of the hotel, I realised I lost my beloved earpods and whatsapp-ed the hotel in the slim hope of finding it back. Within minutes, I got a message from the concierge, accompanied with a picture of my lost item! I shall definitely return to stay with them again very soon ^^"
