The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the bed was soft and great for sleeping. The staff were all very friendly. Even though there's no elevator, they helped carry our luggage up to the room. The only downside was too many mosquitoes. I hope they can improve their mosquito control for next time.

One area that could be improved is the variety of facilities and services, as they felt fairly basic compared to some other hotels in the area. However, everything was functional, and the stay was smooth without any major issues. Overall, The Lantern Hatyai Hotel offers good value for money and is a solid choice for travelers looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located place to stay in Hat Yai.

Me and my husband love this hotel. It is located beside Makro and also near to Central Hatyai Mall. Near to asean night bazar. Got 7e near hotel. U can also drive about 5min to reach the new supermarket Go wholesale. The receptionist is friendly, can speak malay also. But have to pay 500baht by cash for deposit. They will returned once u check out. They also clean your room everyday. For me, it is worth it with the price, locations&cleanliness.

I checked out from the hotel some time after 8am, and upon inspection of the room, their housekeeper and front desk accused us of stealing their one of pool towels. On the first day of our stay, they had indeed provided 2 pool towels, which we had used and had been taken by their housekeeper during housekeeping. However, they only provided 1 pool towel yesterday, but we did not request any extra since only one of our members went swimming. In the end, they charged us 350 baht for stealing/losing their pool towel, even though they did not provide the complete set of 2 in the first place. Before I checked out, I also witnessed the group in front of me who were also accused of stealing their towel, which they were charged 100 baht. The group insisted that they had even brought their own towels and never used the hotel’s, but were nevertheless forced to pay the compensation fee even because we had no proof that the housekeeping did not provide the complete set in the first place. I strongly suspect that we were being scammed by the hotel staff on this, because this is a relatively decent and nicer hotel, and proper guests were staying here. There’s absolutely no reason for any of us to be stealing their towels. If I couldn’t even afford a towel, I would not be staying here at all. And if it had only been us falling victim to this, my suspicions would not have been this strong but it is too much of a coincidence for both groups to be accused of stealing their towels. On an additional note, they were not even able to provide a complete set of towels for us 4pax when we called to request, because there weren’t enough to go around (according to them). They could’ve also easily use this against us and accuse us of stealing the bath towels too, and we would not have been able to prove ourselves either. My only mistake was not requesting a receipt for the compensation fee that I had to pay, but I don’t think it would’ve made much of a difference. I have lodged an official complaint anyway via Trip to hopefully prevent future incidents. Just want to put this out here to warn others who are considering staying here in the future. Avoid if you don’t want to ruin a nice hotel experience by leaving with a sour taste in your mouth. Truly a shame that the level of service and integrity of the staffs did not live up to the standards of the hotel.

The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I also really appreciated the complimentary cookies and coffee provided in the morning, as well as the comfortable space where guests can sit and relax. The only downside is the bathroom. When taking a shower, water tends to flow out and make the entire bathroom floor wet, so you need to be careful as it can be slippery. The location is also very convenient. Just less than 50 metres after turning left from the hotel, there is a local pork noodle shop that serves really delicious noodles. Definitely worth trying! Overall, we had a pleasant and comfortable stay. 😊

We had a pleasant stay at Tachang Airport Hotel Hatyai. The family room was spacious enough and comfortably accommodated our family. The room and surrounding areas were clean and well-maintained, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Parking was convenient and hassle-free, with ample space available. The beds were very comfortable, allowing all of us to have a good night’s sleep after a long day of travelling.Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Hatyai.

It's great to know this place, not that far from Lee Garden or Central Festival HatYai.. The house is very large and very clean. The owner is very warm and welcome. There's no car parking , but we can parking in front of the house and an area around the house (3 cars can be fit in and secure, Malaysian travelers can drive your car and parking here then you can call Grab Car or Grab TukTuk it's very convenient, The price is fair and don't wasting time to deal with Hat Yai's Cheater TukTuk but you need to call Grab out of TukTuk'sline ex. Lee Graden )) Good to stay with Big Family there're kid and adults facility .. Very convenient !! Recommend !!!

The room is nice. The air-conditioning is very cool. The location is great. Walking distance to the Lee Garden Night market, Robinson Mall, train station and massage parlors. Highly recommended. I will stay again.

The room is clean, the air conditioner is cool, but the TV and the kettle have problems and can't be used.
