"Great hotel! The fridge is quite big, which is my biggest concern as I'm buying some refrigerated dessert. The staff also showed us where to get coconut ice cream and crispy pork nearby. The crispy pork just across the road is super tasty, however, no english menu, just use your Google lens to translate 😆 the hotel is also close to a wat, you can pay a visit there if there's time."

LLeeAiTeeEvery time I come to Hat Yai, my only job is to book the hotel and Casa 33 is always our first choice.
The hotel is clean, bright, and peaceful. Everything is well taken care of, and the atmosphere is calm and comfortable.
On my last two trips, Jub at the front desk gave me great suggestions as soon as I arrived. Special Thanks to her and all reception staff as well for the warm welcome and support

LLeonardzzI stayed at Subanan Resident in Hatyai and had a really good experience overall. The cleanliness is the first thing that stood out — the place is spotless, probably one of the cleanest I’ve stayed at in this price range.
The service was also impressive. When I had an issue with the WiFi, I just gave them a call and the staff personally came over to hand me the code face-to-face. Check-in and check-out were both quick and smooth. Even on my first visit, the parking service was clear and well-organised, which made things easier.
Location-wise, it’s not in the busy tourist area, which I actually liked. It’s surrounded by local houses, so the vibe is calmer and more relaxing. Within walking distance (about 4 minutes) there’s a Big C Mini, and a 7-Eleven about 7 minutes away. It’s a nice balance — not too far from convenience, but away from the tourist crowds and heat.
As for amenities, they’re average. One of the rooms came with a Netflix account, while another didn’t, which was a bit inconsistent. Also, setting it up wasn’t the most straightforward — you need to switch between the TV remote and the Xiaomi box remote, which takes a little figuring out.
Overall, if you value cleanliness, friendly service, and a calm local atmosphere over being in the middle of the tourist spots, Subanan Resident is a solid choice.
Btw the coffee n tea pastries is just a cupcake and milo powder

This was our second stay at this hotel, and overall, we had a pleasant experience. We arrived late, but the staff welcomed us with big smiles and made the check-in process smooth and efficient. The room, including the bathroom, was clean and well-maintained.
One of the things we appreciated was the convenience of the location. There's a 7-Eleven just around the corner, which is very handy. The hotel is also quite close to the ASEAN Night Market and Central Hat Yai, making it easy to explore the area.
Although the hotel doesn't provide dedicated parking, there were a few parking spaces available in front of the hotel and along the back alley. However, it can get quite full at night due to the bar next door. We still managed to find parking during our stay, but at times you may need to walk a little.
Downsides:
The biggest issue is the bar located right next to the hotel. It gets quite loud after 10 PM, and we could clearly hear the music in our room. If you're a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, this might be a problem.
The water drainage in the bathroom was poor on the first night, causing the bathroom to flood after a shower. It improved slightly on the second night, but the water still pooled before eventually draining.
We booked a twin room, and one of the beds was quite wobbly—it shook every time someone moved. The other bed was fine, though.
Despite these issues, the friendly service and convenient location made our stay enjoyable. If the noise and minor maintenance issues don’t bother you, this hotel is a decent choice for a short stay in Hat Yai.

GGuest UserOverall, it's a decent stay. The hotel is very conveniently located, with a 7-Eleven just a 100-meter walk away. The hotel's exterior looks quite good, and the pool is nice, plus they have a basic gym facility.
However, the room itself was a bit of a letdown. Essentials like toothbrushes and slippers weren't provided. Perhaps due to being on the first floor, we encountered quite a few ants and small insects. If you're sensitive to bugs, I'd recommend asking for a room on a higher floor.
A major plus is its proximity to the airport – it's only a 15-minute walk. Taking a Grab taxi, though, would set you back 110 THB, which feels a bit expensive considering how close it is.

GGuest UserThe hotel hygiene is well maintained. We love the ambience. If you need to shop, there’s a mini Big C store right infront of the hotel. Entrance for hotel is behind Big C.
There’s no lift, so the staff helped us to carry our luggage. We checked in late around 9pm and the staff on the duty at the receptionist that night wasn’t so friendly. Had the difficulty to communicate and gave us look when she was frustrated. The staff we meet earlier in the morning and during the checkout were nice and warm.
The TV was not a smart tv, so there’s only 3 news channel available. Tv remote control not functioning. The blind/curtain is see through.
