The moment I stepped into Yijian 6500, I knew my trip to Changsha would be different because of this hotel. It doesn't feel like a cold, impersonal hotel; it's more like an old friend I've known for years, who has already prepared everything, just waiting for my return.
From the moment I was greeted at the entrance, 'feeling at home' was no longer just an adjective. The house manager's gentle smile and warm greeting instantly melted away the fatigue of my journey. During check-in, a cup of perfectly warm tea was handed to me; that comforting warmth spread from my tongue to my heart. What surprised me even more was that the hotel thoughtfully upgraded my room! This unexpected gesture made any initial feeling of unfamiliarity completely disappear.
The house manager accompanied me throughout, like a dedicated personal butler, meticulously explaining every detail of the room. From how to use the smart devices to the carefully prepared welcome snacks, everything revealed the host's attentiveness. What truly charmed me was the exquisite canvas bag, which not only contained an eye mask and earplugs to help me sleep soundly but was also a gift I could take home! This small gesture was full of human touch. There was even a Rubik's cube personally made by the hotel in the room; after I thoughtfully solved it, I received a coupon for Tea's Express! This clever integration of fun and surprise into the service made me both play and drink, lifting my spirits.
At Yijian 6500, my taste buds were also exquisitely cared for. Complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks could all be delivered directly to my room. Whether it was a meal to energize me in the morning, delicate refreshments during a lazy afternoon, or a comforting supper late at night, I could enjoy delicious food without leaving my room. This feeling of being so meticulously looked after was truly wonderful.
The house manager also thoughtfully provided us with 'Changsha Food Guide,' 'Changsha Attraction Recommendations,' and 'Trendy Street Play Guide' via WeChat. These guides weren't generic information found online; they were filled with local insider tips and practical advice, allowing us to experience the charm of Changsha more deeply. Coupled with free Wi-Fi and professional travel photography services, the entire stay experience was simply perfect.
Leaving Yijian 6500, my heart was filled with reluctance. Afterward, I checked into the W Hotel, intending to experience the standardized service of an international chain, but the stark contrast felt like night and day. While the W Hotel certainly boasts modernity and luxury, the genuine, warm service at Yijian 6500 is something no standardized process can replicate. In that moment, my only thought was: I really want to go back.
Yijian 6500, you are more than just a hotel; you allowed me to find another definition of 'home' in Changsha. Thank you for giving me such an unforgettable journey.

GGuest UserOur family trip to Changsha led us to choose the Crowne Plaza Changsha Sijing Square, and it turned out to be an incredibly comfortable and relaxing stay, far exceeding our expectations. It was a perfect family accommodation experience.
The hotel boasts a convenient location, surrounded by malls, supermarkets, and a wide array of dining options, all within walking distance. This 'one-stop shop' for food, drinks, and entertainment was exceptionally convenient for traveling with seniors and children.
The lobby on the sixth floor is grand yet inviting, and the staff were warm and friendly. Every employee we encountered greeted us proactively. The front desk staff were patient and meticulous during check-in, even thoughtfully preparing a small gift for our child and arranging welcome toiletries. These little details made us feel incredibly warm and appreciated.
The guest rooms are spacious with excellent natural light, clean, and free of any odors. The layout, with its wet and dry separation, is ideal for families. The bedding was comfortable and soft, and the nights were exceptionally quiet, ensuring both our elders and children slept soundly. The bathroom and shower are also wet/dry separated, impeccably clean, and fully stocked with amenities. The large bathtub was a particular hit with our child, providing a super therapeutic soak in the evenings.
Room facilities are smart and convenient, with electric curtains and screen-casting TVs enhancing the overall comfort. There's ample storage space, allowing us to keep our luggage organized without feeling cluttered. The Hunan rice noodles at the mall's restaurants offered authentic local flavors, with different options daily, keeping both our child happy and our elders full of praise.
The hotel's amenities are comprehensive. The indoor heated pool is clean and clear, and our child wanted to swim every day. The gym is well-equipped, allowing adults to work out anytime. The public areas are adorned with greenery, creating an elegant environment perfect for a leisurely stroll.
Getting around from the hotel is easy. The subway provides direct access to city attractions, and taxis are readily available, making it simple to explore Changsha.
What truly impressed us was the warmth of the service. Any request was met with a quick response, and staff proactively helped solve problems, truly making us feel at home. The hotel's hygiene management is strict, with every corner spotless and high safety standards, giving us complete peace of mind when staying with family.
For a family outing or vacation, this hotel offers exceptional value for money. It's new, the service is excellent, and the environment is superb, perfectly balancing comfort and convenience. This stay created wonderful memories, and our whole family was extremely satisfied. We will definitely choose this hotel again when we return to Changsha – we wholeheartedly recommend it!

MMarcHoMy recent two-night stay at The Jewel Hidden Valley was nothing short of wonderful. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this serene and culturally rich retreat provided the perfect escape. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality of the staff made us feel right at home.
A special mention goes to ”Julie” and ”Zhang Kai Yi” (if I remember correctly), who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Despite the rain, they selflessly helped us with our luggage all the way to our villa—a gesture that truly touched us. Zhang even took the time to personally walk us to the Tong Guan Kiln, which was about 8 minutes away, sharing interesting insights along the way. Their kindness and attentiveness were truly impressive.
The hotel’s design and layout are stunning, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings while maintaining a luxurious feel. Our villa was spacious, well-appointed, and immaculately clean, with high-quality amenities and toiletries that added to the comfort.
Breakfast was another highlight—the spread was extensive, offering a variety of delicious options that catered to different tastes. Every dish was fresh and flavorful, making it a great start to our days.
Overall, The Jewel Hidden Valley exceeded my expectations in every way. The peaceful ambiance, outstanding service, and attention to detail make it a hidden gem worth revisiting. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a quiet, culturally immersive getaway!

AAnonymous UserThe facilities are complete, the room is clean, and the service is great. There's also a breakfast restaurant on the 28th floor with a wide variety of options. The high floor offers beautiful views, and the surrounding area is excellent, with plenty of convenient dining choices like noodle shops. The hygiene is impeccable, and the bed sheets are very comfortable. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance. The air conditioning works well too.

XXiaobenmiemieThe service was truly excellent, from the welcoming staff at the main entrance to the friendly ladies at the front desk, everyone was so enthusiastic.
The location is also great, away from the hustle and bustle of Wuyi Square, right at the intersection of Chaozong Street, with the Xiang River and Orange Isle directly opposite.
Breakfast was very plentiful, though for soups, besides fish noodle soup, there weren't any small wontons or similar items. The soy milk and fried dough sticks were unique and delicious.
As for the facilities, they were standard, but I was a bit surprised by the lack of welcome fruit, and having to pay a deposit also felt a bit old-fashioned.

GGuest UserI've stayed at this hotel several times before, and I returned after its recent renovation. I really like the new decor and the bedding is very comfortable. It's great value for money, and overall, I'm very satisfied with the room.
However, the check-in experience was unpleasant. There was a short-haired female front desk agent who was very unprofessional and clearly unfamiliar with her duties. I stood there for over ten minutes, literally ten minutes, while she fiddled with the computer without saying a word. Meanwhile, the agent next to her had already processed several guests. When I asked what was going on, she said she was still looking for a room... It was already 7 PM, not mid-day, and she couldn't find an empty room! Eventually, after consulting with a colleague, she assigned me a room on the lowest floor.
The front desk agents next to her were efficiently greeting and informing multiple guests about the hotel's facilities, taxi services, and parking. Yet, after keeping me waiting for over ten minutes due to her incompetence, this agent offered no apology and failed to provide any information whatsoever. I had to ask other staff members for details later.
Furthermore, there was a man in a suit from an external company organizing a conference who was constantly shouting and calling out attendees at the front desk, barging between hotel guests and staff without any manners. The hotel should really direct these conference staff to a separate, empty counter to avoid such disruption.
Other staff members were very professional, and I'm happy with the room. The cleaning staff I encountered in the hallway were also polite, and the cleanliness was excellent. Overall, the renovation and decor are impressive for this price point.

The staff provided service with a smile. I must give a huge shout-out to the omelette at breakfast – as a seasoned omelette connoisseur who's tasted countless ones, this one gets a solid thumbs-up! It was soft, tender, not greasy, and the cheese was wonderfully fragrant and stringy. The yogurt bar was excellent, with my favorite Greek yogurt and chia seed yogurt available. Honestly, it offers much better value for money than the Park Hyatt I stayed at last time.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the bedding ensures a peaceful sleep, and the family-friendly amenities are complete. It's also super convenient for visiting attractions like the Ocean Park and the Grand Circus. Our stay was comfortable, and we had a great time. Perched on the 38th to 50th floors, the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the striking giant 'orange tree' and the incredibly high ceilings. The fusion of Eastern aesthetics and modern luxury was absolutely exquisite.
The most delightful surprise was undoubtedly the room's panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, which practically covered an entire wall. Opening them revealed a breathtaking vista of the Xiang River, Orange Isle, and the distant Yuelu Mountain, truly offering a 'mountains, water, island, city' visual feast all in one frame. Especially at night, gazing at the glittering cityscape and the shimmering river outside the window was incredibly relaxing.
Every detail showcased thoughtful care. Not only did the room feature comfortable beds that could be combined and high-quality toiletries, but it also had a pleasant surprise: snacks from Cha Yan Yue Se, making you feel a strong sense of local culture and hospitality. The hotel is conveniently located right above Bisha Lake Subway Station, making it incredibly easy to get to Wuyi Square, Orange Isle, and other central commercial areas and attractions. Whether it was the resort-like high-altitude infinity pool or the authentic Hunan rice noodles at the all-day dining restaurant, everything added to the enjoyment of my trip. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Changsha who is looking for a high-quality vacation experience. I will definitely be back!
