Mountain View Hotels in Changsha

This was my first stay at a Galaxy branded hotel, and I was thoroughly impressed. Sonnie called ahead to understand my personal needs and upgraded me directly to a larger executive floor room with full lake views on a higher floor upon arrival, which instantly brightened my mood despite the rainy weather. The front desk staff (I regret not catching their name) provided a detailed overview of various local cultural and tourism discounts. Although I couldn't partake due to time constraints, they immediately offered vouchers for snacks and drinks at the coffee bar as a thoughtful consolation. The hotel lobby is grand yet minimalist, exuding a sense of cultural elegance that perfectly complements the Zaha Hadid-designed International Culture and Art Center next door. The room featured double sinks and was incredibly spacious. Cleanliness was impeccable, with no dust bunnies or overlooked spots. The close-up lake views and distant mountains outside the window were breathtaking, instantly lifting the gloom of the overcast day. Breakfast was bountiful, offering a great mix of Western and Chinese options. The freshly made noodle station and snacks were particularly delicious. The restaurant staff were also very helpful, working hard to manage seating during peak hours. It was a perfect trip, and the Meixihu Jinmao Luxury Hotel certainly added to its splendor.

The room offered a fantastic view directly overlooking Orange Isle! Getting around was mostly by shared e-scooters and Didi (ride-hailing), which was quite convenient, with transport costs to various popular spots ranging from 10-20 yuan. The bathtub was quite large, and both kids had a blast. The only minor drawback was that the hotel didn't provide disposable bathtub liners, but you can buy them online, which I had already done in advance. If this bothers you, you can do what I did and purchase them beforehand; try to get a larger size. There was nothing particularly special about the cleanliness or service, but since the hotel hasn't been open for too long, I didn't find anything to complain about. Overall, the experience was pretty good, and it offered decent value for money. My only suggestion would be to rotate the afternoon tea selection, as we had the same items two days in a row.

The high-altitude views are breathtaking, with the front desk located on the 39th floor and guest rooms even higher. The hotel also features charming, retro-style entrance doors. Both the hardware and software are top-notch. Breakfast is fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options, including freshly made 'maizi fen' noodles. The location is super convenient, very close to the city center, and there's a direct subway line to the high-speed train station. The facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained. Every staff member has a smile, and the concierge proactively assists with luggage. The location is superb – if you're visiting Changsha, this is a must-book!

Choosing this guesthouse for my trip to Changsha was such a stroke of luck! The room was spotless, the bedding was clean and fresh-smelling, and the bathroom was dry and hygienic. The owner was incredibly warm and thoughtful, sending me a detailed travel guide before I even checked in and always responding promptly to any questions I had. All the appliances and toiletries were well-stocked, making for a truly complete setup. The guesthouse is right next to the scenic area, so I could walk to attractions easily. It's also close to the subway and a snack street, making getting around and finding food super convenient. The value for money is outstanding, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Changsha.

The hotel boasts a great location, convenient parking, and clean, tidy rooms with beautiful night views! The breakfast selection was plentiful, and the rice noodles were delicious 🤤 The receptionists were warm and attentive, always ready to answer any questions 👍👍👍 The hotel is right next to the subway station (Yingwan Town Station), making it very convenient for getting around and sightseeing. It's only one stop away from Orange Isle and also very close to Yuelu Mountain Park. This time, I stopped by on my way back, so the itinerary was a bit rushed. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. 😊😊😊 The two night views are actually from my room window. I didn't take pictures of all the breakfast options, just my own 🤭🤭🤭

This homestay has a puppy named Yunduo and a very tame little cockroach (temporarily called Xiaohei), they are very clingy, and they sleep in the sun on the bench with them. This is a homestay that can heal people. I don't want to praise their home's decoration style and service quality. It is more that I can really feel the warmth and comfort brought by being away from the noise of the city. I like this store very much, this is a store that will make me nostalgic.

Excellent service! This has to be the best family-friendly hotel I've ever stayed in, bar none! And I'm not a shill! We booked a deluxe twin room and it was upgraded, and they took great care of both the elderly and children. The included Ocean Kingdom, Water World, and Snow World were all super fun and offered a great experience, comparable to Chimelong. Front desk staff member Wendy Huang also provided excellent service. The only minor downsides were that while the breakfast buffet was plentiful, if you went for dinner late, the food selection might be a bit limited. Also, it would be even better if the hotel shuttle bus had more frequent runs!

I chose the Grand Hyatt for a short weekend getaway. The hotel's service was absolutely top-notch, with nothing to fault. It truly lives up to Hyatt's management standards; everything was just wonderful. During my two-day stay, I interacted with many hotel staff members – from the front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant to the recreation team, security, engineering, and cleaning staff – all were exceptionally polite, and their service attitude was unparalleled. Proactive communication and smiling service, which are rare in the current hospitality landscape, were commonplace here. If I had a minor question, a staff member would personally guide me to a solution, which is truly remarkable. Everything about the hotel was excellent: its location, facilities, service details, product quality, and dining offerings were all outstanding. What impressed me most was the cleanliness of the swimming pool, something I haven't seen in many other hotels I've visited. My only minor critique is that the hotel entrance was a bit hard to find. It's perfectly fine if you arrive by car, but if you're walking from the subway, you need to pay attention to the Hisense Plaza signs. The hotel also provided useful coupons, which were particularly helpful for tourists!

Overall, my stay was very pleasant. The room was clean, and the bedding was super comfortable. The front desk staff was really welcoming and efficient with both check-in and check-out. The location is great for getting around, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Excellent value for money. I had a very comfortable stay and would definitely consider this hotel again for my next trip.

The 260-acre old palace, with green trees covering the sky and the sun. It was late to the hotel (about six o'clock), saying that the room in the main building No. 8 originally booked was gone, and I could go to Building No. 5 without an elevator. The room manager saw that we had objections, accompanied the explanation and took the room, and took care of the waiter to help us carry the luggage upstairs. It was really a long-distance trip and she was tired because of her sincerity, but she also gave up staying for the third night. The room has a good base, the facilities are well maintained, the linen hot water air conditioning is OK, and the sanitation is quiet and safe. Green trees are blocked, the room is not bright, and there is no safe or refrigerator. It is not recommended to drive by yourself. Building 5 is also more than one kilometer away from the nearest subway line 6 (Building 8 is farther), take a taxi.
