"An unexpected hostel gem! The location is superb, just a 5-minute walk to the subway station, surrounded by amazing food streets and attractions. After a long day of exploring, you can still enjoy a late-night snack. The beds are clean and comfy, equipped with privacy curtains, charging ports, and nightlights. The lockers with locks offer complete peace of mind. The common areas are spotless, with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Thoughtful details like Dyson hairdryers are a huge plus. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly, treating you like old friends. This place is truly the king of value for money, offering location, social interaction, and convenience all for under a hundred yuan. A real treasure trove for backpackers. The guests here are also really nice, especially the guy in the picture who keeps buying cigarettes and betel nuts for everyone. If you run out, you can just ask him for some."

Excellent
GGuest UserThe environment is clean and the soundproofing in the room is good. Even a light sleeper like me can sleep comfortably. The service attitude is as good as always. If you have any questions, tell the front desk and they will handle your problem quickly. They are very efficient and very satisfied! The bed is comfortable, the facilities are great, and the environment is elegant. Living in the scenic area, you can enter and exit multiple times. It is cost-effective, the location is good, the price is affordable, and the service is enthusiastic. 💯
GGuest UserThe reception was good. The hotel was just by the road side but was not accurately routed using Tencent map. I called the hotel number after the map prompted I had arrived my destination. The receptionist showed up by the road side adjacent to where I stood, I crossed over , and she helped with my box, showing me to the hotel . It was convenient for me staying at the hotel because of it’s location and warm reception.

AAnonymous UserThe hostel's location is pretty good, right on Jiefang West Road, with Taiping Old Street, the historical and cultural district, and Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street all nearby. It's about a 5-6 minute walk from the hostel to the nearest subway station, Xiangjiang Middle Road.
The room decor is a bit vintage, with green walls and dim lighting. Coupled with the green walls and the rainy weather during my stay, it felt even darker. Having a window didn't really help. 😅
Before I arrived, I saw some online reviews mentioning a smell from the bathroom, but I didn't experience that issue during my stay. I also noticed that the cleaning staff regularly cleaned the bathroom area, wiping down water marks on the sink promptly.
Overall, it was decent.

GGuest UserThere is a parking lot, the front desk service is enthusiastic, and the facilities and equipment are gradually being upgraded. Other floors have been transformed into Lavande Hotel. I don’t know if I will get this price next time.
TTingsonghuaxueRicoLocation/Convenient transportation:
Travel is very convenient, very close to Huangxing Square and Nanmenkou subway station, just a few minutes walk. But it will not be noisy by the commercial street, maybe because there is no direct street, our room is still close to the commercial street (not facing the street, no windows). There are windows on the side of the door, near the back alley, have not lived without knowing the details.
Health facilities:
There is a separate bathroom in the room, shower and shower, and the sink is also in the bathroom, which will not be outside the bathroom as mentioned in the comments. When taking a bath, open the floor drain cover (very simple), otherwise the water will accumulate quickly, although there is a gap at the bottom of the glass door, but the water will not leak out when it accumulates. I am afraid that the door will open immediately after the shower and run to the room, so I still open the floor drain cover. After taking a shower, remember to cover it back, because I read the comments that there are cockroaches in the room, so I covered it. I didn't see the cockroaches for 2 nights.
There is a public laundry room, useless, and I have dealt with it in handcuffs for one night.
Overall:
The service attitude is good, the environment and decoration are also good, the room matches the picture. The only drawback is sound insulation. Although there is no noise facing the street, the sound insulation inside the hotel is average.

GGuest UserThis was my first time in Changsha for a job interview. Although I didn't end up going to the university, my experience in Changsha was fantastic!
I stayed at this hotel for three nights. It was very clean and tidy, the room was fully equipped, and the owner was incredibly welcoming.
The location is also excellent, very close to Hunan University and Yuelu Mountain. It's surrounded by commercial streets, but the soundproofing is good, so it's not too noisy. Eating out is also very convenient.
In short, if you're planning a trip to Changsha, I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserThe facilities are complete, with everything you need. The sanitation is very clean, and the owner takes care of it himself. The environment is nice and generally quiet, with very little noise. The service is excellent, and the owner is very welcoming. If you need anything, you can speak directly to the front desk.
