Highly recommend the Wellesley Hotel Changsha Meixi Lake! My stay here exceeded expectations, it was truly relaxing and rejuvenating ✨
🔹Exceptional Butler Service: The 24-hour butler service was incredibly responsive, meticulous, and thoughtful. From guiding me through check-in to handling requests, they were proactive and enthusiastic, paying attention to every detail, which made me feel incredibly welcome.
🔹Rich and Delicious Breakfast: The semi-buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of options, blending Chinese and Western cuisine. The freshly prepared Changsha rice noodles and the semi-buffet items were authentic and fresh, satisfying my taste buds completely.
🔹Wonderful Late-Night Dessert: The surprising late-night sweet soup was delicately sweet and comforting with an excellent texture. Enjoying it late at night was particularly warming and soothing, adding a great touch to the ambiance.
The hotel's environment is elegant and tranquil, and both the service and dining are impeccable. It's an excellent choice for a vacation in Changsha; I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Guest UserChangsha in winter has a unique charm! Yuelu Mountain is tranquil, Orange Isle is vast, and Du Fu's River Pavilion, lit up at night, adds an extra touch of poetry. A steaming bowl of street-side rice noodles is the warmest comfort on a winter day. A special thanks to Xiao Tang from the hotel; from his warm greetings to preparing hot drinks in advance, his thoughtful service was like a winter sun, making the trip warm and reassuring.

KUNbobozhanI stayed in a lake-view twin room, and the view of Meixi Lake from up high was absolutely stunning, with Yuelu Mountain right there in front of my eyes. The design has a great vibe; the terracotta bricks and lighting make for amazing photos no matter where you shoot. The butler was incredibly helpful, even assisting me with selling and shipping a small pillow from the room, saving me a lot of hassle. It's just a few steps from Yuelu Mountain, which made morning and evening strolls super convenient. Full marks for the experience, I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Guest UserThis stay was absolutely fantastic! A special shout-out to our butler, Stellar, whose service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive throughout. They proactively checked our needs and were always available when we needed anything. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the concierge proactively helped us with our luggage. Our room was spotlessly clean. The hotel facilities are brand new and well-maintained. The breakfast offered a rich variety, including many local Changsha specialties. The location is excellent, close to the Xiang River, making it super convenient to get to Wuyi Square and Orange Isle. Overall, the ambiance is grand and elegant.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Changsha South Railway Station, making it super convenient for getting around. You can also reach Metro Line 4 within a few hundred meters, which is great for visiting attractions like Orange Isle and Yuelu Mountain, or food hotspots like Wuyi Square and Nanmenkou. The hotel's cleanliness was also excellent; I especially appreciated the separate toilet, shower, and vanity areas – very thoughtful. The breakfast selection was quite good, and I particularly enjoyed the noodles – the broth was fresh and delicious. Since I had an early train at 7 AM, the hotel even thoughtfully prepared a convenient breakfast for early departures, which was a first for me and incredibly heartwarming. The staff were also very welcoming. All in all, this stay was perfect!

Guest UserMy overall stay was exceptionally pleasant. The hotel's location is fantastic, making it very convenient to take the subway to Yuelu Mountain and explore the city center. The lobby is elegant and grand, and the room was meticulously clean. The mattress was just right, not too soft and not too firm, and the soundproofing was quite good. Linda, a member of the staff, provided thoughtful and attentive service, and checked me in very efficiently. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. This hotel is perfect for both tourists and short trips. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Changsha.

li@zyAfter staying three nights at Niccolo, I decided to try this hotel for a night, thinking it had good reviews online. I ended up being sorely disappointed.
First off, the lobby was incredibly noisy, stuffy, and had an unpleasant smell, which immediately gave me a terrible first impression of the hotel. Upstairs on the sixth floor, there were only three staff members, and a large crowd of people trying to check in. It was very congested with no clear queuing system, leading to some impolite guests cutting in line.
Then there's the room itself – the hardware facilities were extremely poor. It claimed to be over 40 square meters, but it felt much smaller. The shower and bathtub were tucked away at the very back, making it easy to slip and fall if you weren't careful, and the lighting was incredibly dim. The bathroom mirror even had water stains, and you had to get very close to see yourself in it.
The only redeeming features were the gym and the dry and wet saunas; it was my first time experiencing a wet sauna.
Overall, it was quite a bad experience. I've stayed at many W hotels in different locations, and this was by far the worst.

ChanchanshuoOverall, the experience was pretty good! The hotel is easily accessible by car if you navigate directly to it. The entire Dawangshan resort area, including attractions like the Snow and Ice World, Circus, and Ocean Kingdom, are all quite close to the hotel, within a 3-5 minute walk, which is very convenient.
The hygiene and service were standard. We were pleasantly surprised with a welcome snack from Cha Yan and an additional room upgrade!
The only minor drawback was the hotel breakfast. The 3rd-floor all-day dining restaurant clearly felt a bit undersized. If the dining area could be further subdivided, with more four-person tables replacing the six-person ones, it might reduce the need for shared tables and improve the overall dining experience.
We paid extra for the hotel's dinner buffet, and the salmon was truly unlimited, which was very generous. The complimentary foie gras and abalone were also quite good. I'd recommend trying it!

Guest UserThe environment here is absolutely fantastic! The space is huge, and the views are just incredible. Being on the 89th floor, you get a panoramic view of the entire city of Changsha. You can even see Orange Isle clearly. The N3 river view rooms even come with binoculars! The sunset was breathtakingly beautiful – I took so many great photos standing by the window.
Service: The service was excellent; they weren't intrusive at all, which made for a nice private experience. They also offer turn-down service. And those macarons were delicious! This place is great; I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Changsha.

Guest UserI'd highly recommend this hotel. I'm quite picky when it comes to hotels when I travel, so I spent two days poring over various platforms, comparing everything before finally settling on the Ligao Hotel. Two things particularly drew me to it: first, its convenience. It's close to the subway entrance and within walking distance of the busiest commercial district. This means it offers both peace and quiet, yet easy access to the bustling city life – it's the best of both worlds. Second, safety. When traveling with family, safety is paramount, and this hotel is right across from the Provincial Military Region, which gave me a huge sense of security. I even imagined it wouldn't be noisy before I arrived, and it turned out to be true. These are major factors for me when choosing a hotel, and everything else after checking in didn't disappoint either. The hotel provides afternoon tea, beer, and snacks, and unlimited bottled water. The cleaning staff were also very warm and meticulous, doing a very thorough job every day. While it's not a luxury new brand hotel, it offers excellent value for money and a fantastic experience.
