"The room was great, very spacious and comfortable. It's close to Wuyi Square, making it easy to get around. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were really nice and enthusiastic, even helping us with our luggage. I had a wonderful time in Changsha this trip! I didn't take any pictures of the hotel environment, so here's a photo of some food I bought from Jinli Gate. Hope everyone has a great time too!"

"The Tatami River View room has a sofa that folds out into a 1.2-meter bed. The auntie thoughtfully made up the bed with sheets and even put a little yellow duck pillow for the child.
The room has a bathtub, and the hotel provides bath bags, steam eye masks, laundry detergent, and more, which shows great attention to detail.
The biggest surprise was the laundry room on the 5th floor. We got back to the hotel at 11 PM, and to our surprise, an auntie was still there. She told us to leave our clothes with her, and she would wash, dry, and fold them for us. The next morning, they were left at our room door, all completely free! This was such an amazing value and a pleasant surprise! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Changsha!"

"Overall, I'm pretty satisfied. The pros are its convenient location, about 200 meters from the subway station. Although it's in an office building, there are four low-zone elevators, so waiting isn't usually an issue. The room card works for the downstairs access, or security can swipe you in. A 'Snack Kingdom' store is right across the street and always busy. The bed firmness was just right. The smart toilet didn't have a bidet function, but the shower pressure was good, and the water temperature was fine. Breakfast didn't have a huge variety, but the quality was decent; enough to fill up, and the noodles were a must-try. The main drawback was in our twin/double room, there was a large pillar that took up about 4-5 square meters, blocking half of the curtain wall's natural light, making the room quite dim. This was mainly due to insufficient lighting from the light strips. More importantly, the air conditioning wasn't very effective. On the first day, we checked in at 2 PM with the panel set to 22℃, but by evening, the room panel showed 26℃. Even with the AC running continuously for three days, it wouldn't cool down. Changsha gets quite hot, so the hotel really needs to look into this AC issue; I suspect the main unit's temperature setting is too high to control energy consumption. Also, the bathroom and main room had a slatted partition you could see through, which isn't ideal if you're staying with older children."

"Great value for money, I highly recommend this hotel. The location is excellent, though you'll need to transfer metro lines if you want to go to Wuyi Square, but it's not too far. The room has a table which is perfect for eating takeout. The best part is that it's next to a mall, and there's a Cha Yan Yue Se (tea shop) right on the first floor, so you can get your bubble tea fix whenever you want! Mr. Big Bowl on the third floor is a chain restaurant with authentic Hunan cuisine; you absolutely must try their stir-fried pork with chili. (Oops, I got a bit off-topic there!)"

HheminzhangThe hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, tucked away in a small alley just to the left of the entrance to Taiping Street. It's less than a 10-minute walk from Exit 2 of Xiangjiang Middle Road Metro Station on Line 2, and even as a solo female traveler with luggage, I found it incredibly easy to get to. Right across the street, there's amazing Changsha stinky tofu, and the giant sausage is also surprisingly delicious. The night market in the evenings is brilliant for a stroll. It's also close to Wuyi Square, the Xiangjiang River, and various attractions. Orange Isle is just one metro stop away, and other sights are easily accessible by metro too. A special mention goes to the Chayan Yuese tea shop nearby, located on the upper floor of a bookstore. The blend of tea aroma and book scent, along with the peaceful atmosphere, was truly delightful. Plus, because I was on a business trip and hadn't had a chance to do laundry, the hotel's laundry service was an absolute lifesaver!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, with a view of Huangxing Square, and it's also very close to Jiefang West Road. The front desk staff and cleaning ladies were all very polite and responsive. The room was good too, the only downside is that the price can be a bit high. Changsha has such a vibrant, youthful atmosphere. The family rooms at this hotel look great, with unique children's beds. I wish all other hotels would make this a standard feature!

GGuest UserI had a particularly satisfying stay this time and highly recommend this hotel. The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to get around by taxi and access everything nearby. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, check-in and check-out were efficient, and communication was easy and pleasant. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; every corner was spotless. The room itself was spacious with a simple yet elegant design, and the bedding was soft and plush, allowing for a very relaxing sleep. The soundproofing was excellent, blocking out external noise, so I slept soundly through the night. All the in-room facilities were well-maintained; the air conditioning and bathroom worked smoothly, hot water came out quickly, and the toiletries were of good quality. The lighting was just right, creating a great ambiance overall. The staff were patient and meticulous with guests, promptly resolving any issues. The attention to detail was thorough, leading to a very comfortable living experience, suitable for both leisure and business travelers. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.

They proactively checked our needs and were always available when we needed anything. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the concierge proactively helped us with our luggage. Our room was spotlessly clean. The hotel facilities are brand new and well-maintained. The breakfast offered a rich variety, including many local Changsha specialties. The location is excellent, close to the Xiang River, making it super convenient to get to Wuyi Square and Orange Isle. Overall, the ambiance is grand and elegant.

We just realized how family-friendly this hotel is! The room was well-equipped and thoughtful, allowing us to rest soundly after a day of sightseeing. The lady at the front desk arranged a room with a lovely view for us; the beautiful scenery really brightened our spirits. The breakfast restaurant even had a picture book corner that our child loved. What really stood out was the hotel's shuttle and valet service – they have a dedicated express lane for transfers to and from Window of the World, which was incredibly convenient and saved us a lot of hassle. LLizhouThe room was very spacious. We booked a twin room, and I apologize for this, but the three of us moved the beds together. My apologies to the housekeeping staff who had to tidy up afterward.
The service was excellent. They readily replenished water bottles and quickly brought up extra toiletries when requested. It was also very convenient that they could provide an extra key card for my friend who came back later at night.
The view from the window was decent; you could see a partial river view through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the night scenery was beautiful. The only downside is that the facilities are a bit old and not very smart, but that's it.
Most importantly, there was a dead praying mantis in the room that looked like it had been there for a while, as its body had already turned yellow.

GGuest UserThe Bandai Hotel is super conveniently located, with a subway station nearby. It's just two stops directly to Orange Isle, and you can also take the subway to Yuelu Mountain, which is incredibly handy. You can even walk to IFS, Taiping Old Street, Pozi Street, and the pedestrian street. The hotel environment is lovely, and the rooms come with a mini-fridge, a disinfection cabinet, and a smart toilet, among other well-equipped facilities. The toiletries and disposable slippers in the room are also of good quality. The housekeeping staff are very thorough with cleaning, and the front desk service is excellent – they patiently answered all our questions. The breakfast is rich and varied, with dozens of options. We left feeling full and ready to explore. A great hotel, highly recommended! 🏨

GGuest UserThis is my second time staying here in Changsha, and I'm very grateful the hotel upgraded me to a larger room! The toilet flush didn't work every time, and the bathroom walls and window sills looked a bit old; I'd suggest they be updated. The breakfast was plentiful, but finishing by 10 AM felt a bit rushed. It's great that there's a pool, though I recommend bringing your own swimming cap. It's a bit of a distance from the subway station, so taking a taxi is more convenient.
