LlynecottonLet's get straight to the point. Regarding this hotel, from a family travel perspective, I do not recommend it. Families with children should probably avoid it.
Reason one: Children aged 6 and above are charged half price for breakfast. While 50 yuan isn't expensive, my child only ate two sausages and two donuts.
Reason two: There's very little for kids to do. There's only one swimming pool, barely two proper lanes wide. The small ball pit next to the breakfast area is only open during the dinner buffet. There's nothing else to entertain children.
Reason three: There are very few family-friendly attractions within walking distance. We didn't go to Qingxiu Mountain, which might be suitable for older kids.
If you're traveling for business, this hotel is fine. I'd like to commend the proactive and helpful concierge at the entrance who opened doors and handled luggage. The front desk staff were standard—neither overly enthusiastic nor unfriendly, just middle-of-the-road. A customer service manager did contact me before check-in to inquire about my stay, but I was busy at the time and didn't get a clear explanation of what they needed. When we checked out, someone specifically approached us asking for a five-star review, but I was busy checking in for my flight and the call was cut short.
Upon check-in, they provided toothbrushes and slippers for the child. The front desk on the 80th floor consists of three desks, similar to those for bank wealth managers, positioned right as you exit the elevator. You check-in while seated. There are no signs indicating who is responsible for what, but you can just go to any available staff member. My only discomfort was that it's been a long time since I stayed at a 4-star-plus hotel booked through Trip.com that didn't allow check-in without a deposit. I had to pay a 1000 yuan deposit, which didn't cause any real inconvenience, but it just felt off.
Breakfast is about a 4-star standard. The highlight is Luosifen (snail noodles), and the pastries seemed freshly made and tasted good. Freshly squeezed juice was available, but other than that, there wasn't much special, and the variety was limited. Perhaps I had too high expectations after reading reviews.
The room was very spacious, the bed was high, and it was quiet. However, the layout was a bit confusing to navigate. Despite the low occupancy, my room was very far from the elevator. Maybe it was for a better view?
In summary, this can be classified as a 4-star business hotel on the 80th floor. It truly lives up to its name of being a 'selection' hotel. The view outside was just three tall buildings. I was slightly disappointed. We checked in around 7 PM and left the next morning feeling bored.
There was an option to borrow traditional ethnic costumes for a 1000 yuan deposit per set. They lacked distinctiveness or suitable backdrops for photos, so we just took a few pictures in the room. The clothes were quite new and clean. The overall atmosphere felt a bit sterile. The walk from the ground floor lobby to the elevators was very spacious and empty.

GGuest UserFacilities: Overall very good, right next to Wanda Plaza. It's also quite quiet, and the decor is nice, still relatively new.
Hygiene: Very clean, and the bedding was quite comfortable. The only thing is the air conditioning made me a bit cold.
Environment: The overall environment is pretty good.
Service: Excellent. As soon as we pulled up, someone immediately helped us with our luggage. After check-in, they also proactively guided us to our room with our bags. We arrived late last night, and the front desk attendant even upgraded me to a suite. Many thanks.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is absolutely gorgeous, I'd give it five stars! As soon as we stepped into the lobby, it felt incredibly clean and bright. The front desk staff greeted us with a lovely smile and were so gentle. Our room was big and spotless, and the bed was so soft and comfortable. Outside the window, we had a beautiful view, and the room itself had a pleasant fragrance. The hotel environment was also excellent, very quiet and peaceful, not noisy at all. All the staff were very polite and always greeted us. The facilities here are also very comprehensive, making our stay feel incredibly secure. I was so happy with this hotel experience, and next time I travel, I'd love to stay here again! This was truly an unforgettable and wonderful experience!

GGuest UserThis is an older five-star hotel, and while the decor is about a decade old, the bed was super comfortable and it was quiet at night, which made for a great sleep. The best part is its fantastic location right in the central business district. Metro Line 2's Exit G is right outside, and it's just a few minutes walk to Sanjie Liangxiang, Zhongshan Road Night Market, and the Yongjiang River. It was incredibly convenient for evening strolls! The breakfast definitely lived up to the standard of an established hotel, even featuring local specialties from Guangdong and Guangxi. They also offer a special morning tea (available for an extra charge, and the hotel provides coupons). Unfortunately, I missed it because I had an early train to catch, but I'd love to try it next time!

From the lobby to the rooms, the quality of the decor is evident, blending regional characteristics while maintaining Marriott's signature upscale, minimalist, and grand aesthetic. The toiletries are from Marriott's Megu Ailanna series, and I absolutely love their special fragrance. The room was quite spacious. Since it wasn't peak season during my stay, I received a complimentary upgrade to a larger room. The furniture and bedding in the room were, as always, incredibly comfortable. The food, of course, also incorporated local specialties and was delicious!

Today morning, I had difficulty accessing Scoot to checkin for my 2pm Nanning-Singapore departure flight. Michael went the extra mile to bring me to the adjacent building to a print company and make use of their computer to login to Scoot airline. Due to different web platform, I was still unable to complete my Scoot check-in. However, I appreciate the extra effort made by Michael. I have stayed in this hotel, in and out, for 6 days and it was worth my money spent. Nanking has many beautiful places of interests.

GGuest UserThe room was clean, and check-in was convenient since I didn't have to get up early. It's directly opposite the airport with a skybridge connecting to it, which is super handy. I stayed here before and found it convenient with a good environment. This time, I booked it for my relatives and they also found it very convenient and great value for money. I'll definitely stay here again if I need to in the future.

A fantastic 8 night stay. A lovely hotel. I will definitely return and I highly recommend you choose this hotel. The facilities, staff, food, everything is excellent. Thank you for a wonderful stay. The staffs attention to detail is high quality. Room was excellent. Breakfast 10 stars out of 10. Superb Chinese and Western delicious foods. Coffee freshly ground beans and your choice of hot milk, soy milk etc etc. Health bread is available. The chefs poached my eggs every morning. Thank you. Swimming pool amazing. Fitness room nicely set up and well equipped. I like the location and ease of access. The airport bus starts and ends in the hotel entrance car park. Amazing!

AAnonymous UserThis is a long-established five-star hotel with an unbeatable location in the city center. Its prime geographical advantage means you can walk to Three Streets and Two Alleys, Zhongshan Road night market, and enjoy the Yongjiang River view within minutes. It's also close to the subway station, making transportation very convenient. In the evening, they even delivered two boxes of milk, and the service attitude was excellent. I initially booked a standard twin room for the first night and an executive twin room for the following nights, but the front desk proactively upgraded all my stays to executive rooms for free. Although it's an older five-star hotel and not as spacious or equipped with the latest facilities as newer hotels, it's very clean and hygienic, and the breakfast spread is extensive. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

BBaicaiThe location is great, and the room is also very good, clean and tidy. The breakfast spread is abundant, and I would definitely choose to stay here again next time. The only downside was that we weren't informed about the marathon road closures on our second day when we checked in. This affected our plans to catch our flight, and although the hotel sent someone to talk to the traffic police, we still almost missed our journey.
