"It was a Japanese holiday, so the hotel was fully booked, and prices were 40% higher than usual. A four-person room with two meals cost about USD 770, which wasn't cheap at all, so I was really looking forward to it. However, the kaiseki dinner was very average, the worst meal I've had in recent years. Breakfast was a buffet from 7:00 to 9:00, and when we arrived at 8:15, there were still 20 people in line. We ended up waiting for half an hour to get a seat, which felt unprofessional. There were also facilities for children, which were quite special."

"The ocean view was unbeatable, and the bathtub in the room was absolutely perfect. Soaking in the tub while watching the sunrise and sunset was truly amazing, and you could even enjoy the hot spring baths at the two neighboring hotels! Excellent value for money. There's a direct shuttle bus from Osaka to Honshu Bus Station on Awaji Island, and then you can take the hotel shuttle to the hotel. Note that the shuttle has fixed departure times, so you need to contact the hotel in advance to register. A highlight of this trip. Definitely worth staying a few nights here to enjoy. Next time I want to try a villa! :D"

"The front desk staff showed us to our room and carried our luggage. I thought the service was really good. For dinner, we were shown to a private room, and each dish was carefully brought to us and explained to us. Maybe because I've gotten used to buffets recently, I was able to dine in a relaxed atmosphere (thanks so much to the guy who took care of us). We were very satisfied with both the bath and the bath at the hotel next door. It felt really good to enjoy the open-air bath while looking at the stars at night and the ocean in front in the morning. The room was clean and the toilet and washroom were easy to use. If I had to say one thing... the fish at breakfast was very thin and small, and I think I could have eaten rice if there had been some natto lol. I felt that there was not much breakfast compared to the amount of food served at dinner. But I'm glad I chose Awaji Yumesenkei. I had a great trip ＼(^o^)／"

"The room was clean and odor-free, and the bed was comfortable. The lounge offered drinks and snacks. The environment was very comfortable and quiet, with sea views and massage chairs. Great accommodation. The food was decent, and the room and onsen (hot spring bath) were just the right size for two people. There was also access to the public onsen connecting to two other hotels. The service was first-class and attentive. I would definitely visit again if I go to Awaji Island."

"We stayed here for our first family trip in a long time. The building is a bit old, but the room was spacious enough for four adults to spread out their futons and sleep comfortably, which we were very happy with. The futons were fluffy, and the pillows in particular were great as they didn't strain our necks. (My mother liked the pillows here so much that she bought one as soon as we got home.) The food was also delicious, and although it was a buffet style, the whole family was very satisfied. Guests could also enjoy fishing for free. We were also happy with the large public bath, and there was a table tennis room, which helped us create some wonderful family memories."

"My son and I took a road trip to Awaji Island and soaked in an onsen (hot spring). It was a fantastic onsen hotel. From the moment we got out of the car, someone proactively took our luggage and then escorted us to our room, explaining the facilities and important information. We could even choose our preferred yukata color. Dinner was a generous and delicious kaiseki meal featuring local ingredients – we were very full and satisfied! 😊😊 We stayed in an ocean-view room, facing the sea. I especially loved the beanbag chair in the room – perfect for relaxing and rejuvenating. 👍👍 Definitely worth staying here again."

"The hotel has to be praised for the high quality of the buffet dinner, especially the small and exquisite desserts, and you can try more. There are five people, my husband and I and our three daughters, and we booked a double room and a triple room respectively. The price of the triple room is obviously half of the double room, that is, we have paid for two plus three people. As soon as we arrived, we participated in the hotel's free fishing activity, but the hotel only provided two fishing rods per room, even though it was dusk and many guests had left and there were many remaining fishing rods. The argument with the staff was fruitless. The five of us had no choice but to take turns using four rods, passing them back and forth, and we couldn't catch a single fish. These staff members just gathered together to chat and did not help throughout the whole process. These service attitudes are really rare in Japan. Originally, this fishing activity was the main reason for choosing this hotel, but it felt like a very disappointing experience. 😔"

"There is an additional fee for a private bath with a view, and you can only enjoy it for 45 minutes. There are three private baths, and we used one of them on a sunny day. The bath was a bit rough, but after we were done using the bath, there were two fans, but one was broken and the other was covered in dust. It was usable, but the dust was so bad that it was unusable. When we tried to use it, the dust was flying around. Dinner was also a sumptuous meal served in the room. We had sea bream rice, and if there was any left over, we made our own rice balls, wrapped them in plastic wrap, and took them home. The room overlooking the sea was comfortable, but perhaps because the sun was strong, we couldn't tell if the air conditioning was working. It would have been great if we could have used both fans and been satisfied. I would definitely stay here again. I thought breakfast would be a buffet, but it wasn't, and it was a "Treasure Box Breakfast," which had a unique atmosphere."
