Vistamar ★★★★

📍 Calle Don Quijote, 22, Santa Ursula

"We found everything just as it was in the photos on the internet. The view of the Atlantic, Puerto de la Cruz, the Orotava Valley and Teide was magnificent. Our apartment was neat and clean. You live in a quiet cul-de-sac. A car is essential due to the location. The houses are in a subtropical garden that also has a well-kept pool. Maria manages the complex with enthusiasm and friendliness."

Jardin de la Paz ★★★★

📍 C. Acentejo, 48, 52, La Matanza de Acentejo

"Jardín de La Paz is truly a garden of peace! We came here in March to enjoy our babymoon and were super happy with our stay. We booked the wonderful Casa Buenavista that is elegantly furnished, has privacy and offers a spectacular look on the ocean as well as a glass roof to watch the stars. A handwritten note in our apartment was the personal touch that showed us from the very first second that this was gonna be an amazing vacation. The whole resort is very well taken care of and makes you wanna enjoy the garden and pool. The other guests were very quiet and friendly as well. Staff was super welcoming and accommodating, the breakfast offers a great variety and the terrace invites you to enjoy those first warm sun rays while sipping on your coffee. Our hosts even remembered our coffee preferences for breakfast and gave us wonderful recommendations for sightseeing and exploration. When I got sick on one of the days they noticed we hadn’t been there for breakfast - they politely checked on us and brought us a great breakfast selection to our room. Because of my pregnancy we couldn’t use the sauna but the view was marvelous - we’ll definitely enjoy it next time! The only downside is we didn’t book more days. We’ll definitely be back. Don’t forget to book the picknick basket for your excursion - the perfect snacks and drinks for an afternoon at the beach! "

Coral Villas la Quinta ★★★★

📍 C. Vinagrera, 38390 La, Santa Ursula

"The villa is beautifully situated, and upon arrival, someone was already waiting for us. The accommodation is clean and a generous welcome package was waiting for us (coffee, tea, beer, wine, and soft drinks). It's a large villa with a garage for 3 to 4 cars. Situated on a dead-end street, it's therefore quiet. On the first floor is a large living room with a matching TV, a fully equipped kitchen, and a utility room with a washing machine. This floor also provides access to the garden with a swimming pool. Here you'll find 4 sun loungers and a dining table with 6 chairs. The second floor has a spacious master bedroom with a view of the volcano and a large bathroom with a bathtub, shower, toilet, and bidet. This also has a view of the volcano. The other two bedrooms are slightly smaller and each have a separate shower and toilet. The Wi-Fi has excellent signal and is fast. We communicate with the owner via WhatsApp. We had a broken outdoor light, and after reporting it through the app, it was fixed the next day. We were here in November, and around 5 p.m. the sun disappeared behind the hedge by the pool. We then moved to the second floor, where there are also garden chairs, and from there you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. We've seen quite a few houses, but this one is truly a gem."

📍 C. Bicacarera, 21, La Quinta, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Santa Ursula

"I read some bad reviews here before booking, so I didn’t expect much. But it met all my expectations and even more! Great, great views, a big and clean room, great kitchen. I read about the free buses but I didn’t hear anything about them here. but it cost only 3.3 euros for two persons to Puerto de la Cruz, and the same amount back again. The buses was scheduled around 1 time every hour and the last bus was around 10-11 PM. It was just 20 minutes to drive. I did not order breakfast but maybe I should have, very nice restaurant here. It was few people and very quiet. Perfect temperature and a lot of sun even in December!! Over 20 C every day. 12 euros for spa and 6 for gym, but that’s okey. Great pool. A store just outside with all the essentials. We got fresh towels everyday and all the essentials were in the room, even shampoo! Very clean hotel. Bus was 1.5 hour from the airport because of traffic. I am very satisfied because it was a very cheap trip and such good standards. I don’t see where all the bad reviews are coming from. Very good value for the price."

📍 Calle Acentejo, 74, La Matanza de Acentejo

"We stayed at Apartment El Teide in April/May 2024. It's a very nice place to stay; we slept very well and the beds were comfortable. The separate dining room is charmingly furnished, and the bathroom is also impressively spacious. The kitchen is functional and has everything you need; only the worktop needs a little renovation, which I hear should be done soon ;) The refrigerator could also be a bit bigger. The terrace is fantastic—very large and leaves nothing to be desired. Guests can use the pool, but the sauna is truly wonderful. We were in it every other day. Klaus was a great host who gave us lots of helpful tips. I can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation."

"Had an amazing time here !loved the apartment and the views were amazing . It's abit out from everywhere so we would of loved a car to get around . Only 1 restaurant nearby but the food was really good there . If coming late at night get food from shop . We got bus from airport . I think it was called titsa but ya need to get off early for santa ursula . Don't go to santa cruz. We told them we be late arriving so keys were at the desk with a night porter. The hotel is however locked up I presume for safety reasons so had to wait for another guest to let us in !!!our room was amazing 😍so near the pool and a gift left for us !! We had 1 free pass for indoor spa . Really wish we done it the first day because we would of happily paid every day to go to pool in the spa 😍. We had it all to ourselves and the pool was hot . Outdoor pool is chilly . I did use it but it is chilly. Hotel is really clean . Just wish it did do food . Only did breakfast at weekends.Shop next door is so cheap . So not bad overall"

📍 Camino Tabaiba 29, La Matanza de Acentejo

"We had a wonderful stay in this magnificent and magical place. The view is absolutely breathtaking. The welcome was kind and incredibly warm. Everything was provided, and we truly felt at home! The apartments and grounds have been decorated artistically by the owner and are very original; you notice the details of his creations as the days go by. The bathroom has a huge walk-in shower. The bedroom was lovely, with wooden floors and pretty bedspreads, and above all, windows overlooking the sea. Every detail has been carefully considered. We loved it! We recommend it 100%. Jardin de la Paz ★★★★
"Loved our stay at Casita Buena Vista, Jardin de la Paz! We don’t like big corporate, hotels, so the unique quaintness here suited us; peaceful, beautiful gardens and views! Buena Vista has a luxury, large bathroom! We loved the spa bath after our hikes, the overhead led star lights were sweet! You could indeed see stars from the bed, through the skylight!! And the house keeping staff, gardening, reception are all friendly and unobtrusive. The breakfast served for €18/20 was fabulous! Sit inside or outside with great sea views and also a view of Teide! Eggs (or bacon) cooked to your liking (I liked the omelette), a great choice of fruit, yoghurt, pastries, salads and canapé surprises. We also enjoyed our own breakfasts and some evening meals on our private terrace (with two sun beds, two chairs and table and sea view). We used the pools a few times - always had to ourselves- maybe because in January the water is colder, but once you’re in, it’s refreshing! The sunsets here are amazing. A couple of times we took a bottle of wine to the breakfast/dining area to watch the full sunset."

"We spent a week in november at the hotel. The little house was ok but somewhat ”tired” and old. It is a very calm and quiet place nicely situated with lovely view. During our stay the hotel was un-manned wich was ok, but it also meant lack of information. I would not chose this hotel if I had kids or if I had problems walking. There is only one little suoernaket and one restaurant close by, even if there is only approx 2 kilometres to a a lager shop and restaurant I cannot see it suitable for kids or elderly, the climb up to shop and restaurant is extreemely steep. The pool was ok, not heated snd very cold."

"My husband and I have spent one week here at one of the bungalows overlooking the sea. The views are incredible here. Very calming. The place is very clean and well maintained. It would probably be better to have your own transport here as the main town is about 20 minutes by bus. The hills here are very steep to get to the main road and bus stops, so it would not suit anyone who has difficulty in getting about. We would definitely recommend this place for a quiet getaway. Lovely helpful staff too."

Willkommen im Paradies - Welcome in Paradise - Bienvenidos Al paraíso ★★★
"Suitable only for people with a car, hiking poles, rubber soled boots, high fitness levels, and heaps of time and patience. Whilst I was deluged with self promotional videos, directions to get to Mariposa Jardin were limited to -Catch the bus to Cruz La Victoria. Only 25-30 minute walk from there.' No suggestion as to which bus - it took me 2 buses and 2 and a half hours to get to the bus stop. What then? Which direction to walk with my wheelie bag? Fortunately a lovely local family gave me a lift. There is NO WAY I would have found it by myself. Hill after steep hill till the narrow, bumpy, dangerously steep drive down to the locked gate. A kind young man helped get my bag down otherwise it would have dragged me off my feet. He unlocked it for me and I spent the next half hour wandering around calling out. At last someone called Paola found me with a phone connecting me with Petra. She was very annoyed that someone had let me in. Presumably I should have remained locked out on the driveway. Paola was extremely kind. The view really is spectacular. The bedroom was very compact, with dodgy light switches. The ensuite was cramped so the floor was drenched after a shower. It took me around an hour to walk to the bus stop but I had a sore leg and stooped often along the road that has no footpath. Even a fit person would struggle to wheel their bag up those hills. Although everyone in Tenerife was kind- except for Petra- it really made my entire Tenerife experience unnecessarily difficult. If I'd known how isolated, inaccessible, difficult, and dangerous it was I never would have gone."
