Cavallari Palace Hotel Suites ★★
"This hotel was a disaster. Due to circumstances we'd to stay a night in the Athens area and picked this one. Wrong choice although you can't expect much with the price. The medieval beds felt like they could also once be used in an interrogation room at Guantanamo Bay Prison. The bathroom, besides ridiculous small, looked like it's been there since the first World War and should have a complete make-over including some renovation of the holes in the walls. Further during the night of our stay there, the hotel had a wedding going on near the hotel pool which ended somewhere at 5 o'clock in the morning, including loud music what kept us awake. Seeing all these points over, our conclusion must be we don't recommend this facility."
Hotel Giorgio ★★
Parnis Palace ★★★★
"I had a double room with my boyfriend and my mom had a seperate room with her friend. Our room was definitely not 4 stars as stated. When toilet was flushed it would leak onto to the floor. Ceiling was unfinished just wooden beams and a big hole above where they left it unfinished. From this you could hear the elevator moving up and down and clanging all the time as we were next to the lift and it located in that hole i’ll insert a photo of what i mean by hole. Also because of that the room next door when they used their bathroom we could hear it really clearly as if they were in our room. TV in the room but not working. Mini fridge also included which was working so that was good but in my moms room their mini fridge was warm. Air conditioning in the room was working and was great. In my moms room also when taking a shower the water would go down the drain and rise from another drain in the bathroom located across from the bath and flood the bathroom floor. The bed was a nice big size i would say a queen bed it was comfortable enough since we spent all day walking everyday but no mattress protector or anything under the sheets and we’re given a sheet as a duvet. Also they ask you to leave your key every time u leave the hotel i’m assuming so the room can be cleaned but we stayed for 5 days and it wasn’t cleaned once. Frequently water would turn off also and wouldn’t be able to shower but no explanation given or warning. Breakfast was okay just the basics hard boiled eggs, bread, ham and cheese and some yogurt and cereal selection there was also a coffee machine and orange juice"
Acharnis Kavallari Hotel Suites ★★
"This hotel is not as expected not even a pool that work and lamps floating in the pool and smell really bad if you smoke this is the right hotel for you. The lamps in the pool is light for the pool. A hotel in need of renovation and not worth the money."
Dekelia Hotel ★★★
"I stayed here in February on a business trip. The hotel location can be both advantageous (away from the main city centre, but close enough for a €35 taxi ride) and disadvantageous (close to a busy viaduct with some rooms - such as 232 - subjected to loud traffic noise 24/7). The hotel facilities are surprisingly limited. The swimming pool looks very enticing, and has a large poolside area, but in February it wasn’t available to use!. The bar is very poor; poorly stocked (limited range of drinks) and open for restricted hours it seems. The restaurant is not much better. On the only night I ate in, the short menu had several items unavailable, and the waiter’s recommendations seemed to be easy-to-fry (or microwave) options. No wonder mine was the only table in there on the night I ate. Breakfast is a buffet arrangement, however, providing a good range of cereals, fruit (fresh) and yoghurt, as well as both hot cooked options (which change daily) and sliced meats/cheese too. (Tip: get a decent speciality coffee from the bar instead of the low quality coffee out of the canister) My room (232) was functional. There was no “wow” factor about it, other than it had a balcony which overlooked the swimming pool (as well as the noisy viaduct). The mattress was very lumpy and the heavy duvet will appeal to many guests, but not me! The room lacked any pictures on the wall, and I couldn’t find any tea & coffee making facilities, nor any mugs or glasses in the room. There was, however, a minibar which contained two bottles of mineral water! The air-conditioning seems to cut out in the evenings too. Maintenance and housekeeping are above average, but the grand marble entrance lobby is deceptive in that it leads to a very average 3-star hotel which will likely appeal more to business users than leisure tourists."
