Villa Athena Resort
"This is really a 5 star experience! They have many on-site dining options - all with a lovely view of the Concordia temple. All food was fabulous and featured local, seasonal ingredients. The resort also has a private entrance to the Valle dei Templi park which allows guests to beat the crowds and enjoy a peaceful walk through pristine nature to reach the temples. I hope to return in the future!"
Adler Spa Resort Sicilia
"During our first trip to Sicily I had the pleasure of staying at international luxury hotel chains such as the Four Seasons and Belmond so I was looking to try an Italian brand instead for our recent visit. Although I was recommended Rocca Forte hotels, I chose Adler after hearing great things from a local Italian friend who'd been a few times (Adler has beautiful properties in the Dolomites and Tuscany which I've visited before). Not only did the hotel look beautiful but it was extremely well priced and I liked the fact it was off the beaten path in the more rustic Agrigento area. The property itself is relatively new having opened pre-Covid. The rooms are super modern, chic and spacious, and the grounds were simply stunning with expansive 360 degree views of the ocean. The sunsets in my opinion rival those in Santorini anyday! I loved the entire set up - from the pool, wellness area and gym to the private beach club which is a 7-8 minute walk away (its easy to go down but a moderate climb on the way back so you can opt for the electric shuttle if you are feeling lazy). On some says the ocean was a little rough swimming but the beach feels very private as it is located in a nature reserve making it all the more special. The hotel has also erected a deck with loungers plus a snack area with fresh sandwiches and even gelato. There are also fridges stocked with complimentary sparkling and boxed still water which was a nice touch. Best part of it all, was that it was well staffed with a super attentive team. The rate included breakfast as well as dinner which I would usually be apprehensive about as I am a fussy eater and not a fan of buffets. The quality here however was top notch with so much variety on offer, including a comprehensive list of a la carte dishes (you could choose as many as you like and the portions were just right - not too small not too big!). I usually like to try local restaurants but the food was so good that we ate all of our meals at the hotel for the entire stay (even those not included in the package were extremely reasonable priced which is a rarity in Sicily). Above all the staff were just incredible. Every call or request was handled super efficiently - in fact there were times where certain staff members such as Stefano and Emanuele in the restaurant or Luca in reception - would anticipate our needs before we even asked. The tour recommendations were also great and reasonably priced. Our private tour guide at the valley of temples previously worked there as an excavator so had incredible insights which we loved (he was also efficient and fast which we appreciated!) We barely left the hotel and it was so worth it! Thank you to the entire team for an incredible stay."
Hotel Della Valle
"Hotel nestled in a meticulously maintained green area. The pool was clean, and we had a great dinner with local products. The breakfast was excellent and varied. The room was very large with a view of the Valley of the Temples."
Doric Eco Boutique Resort & Spa - Sicily
"This is a very quiet and unique hotel. All 25 rooms have private swimming pools. The warm and thoughtful service plus the unique natural scenery of Sicily are worth staying for a few days. The restaurant charges a lot but the atmosphere is great! If I go to Sicily, I will stay there for a few more days!"
Residence Hotel Antica Perla
"Good food good facilities"
Hotel Foresteria Baglio Della Luna
"The service is very good. The front desk and restaurant staff are very nice. Great service, very satisfied!"
Colleverde Park Hotel
"The hotel staff were polite, but they didn’t actually help solve any real problems. It felt very much like they treated guests differently depending on who they were. The hotel itself is old, small and smelly, and absolutely not worth 347 Euro per night. I would recommend avoiding this hotel."
B&B Palazzo del Teatro
"The moment we entered the hotel we knew we were in for a treat, reception was friendly and whilst the lady didn’t speak good English we were able to understand and received good information on the surrounding area. Room was exquisite. Breakfast was very good and the cozy atmosphere made a good start to the day."
Euterpe Lht
"Lovely apartment centrally located and easy to walk to town."

Corte Della Jbsa
"We were surprised to be notified of cancellation the evening before our arrival. The reason given was “maintenance” but nothing further. Fortunately, ********** was very helpful booking another place at the last minute, and covered the difference in cost, though I had to spend an hour with them doing it. Not how I like to spend my travel time!"
Luna Minoica Suites and Apartments
"Just a really well-designed and managed property. Set in a lovely landscaped area a short walk (down a pretty boardwalk path through trees) from a very nice beach, Luna Minioca has pretty rooms on several levels that are well-appointed. The two swimming pools and adjacent snack bar are lovely, as is the full breakfast. On the beach, they own a truly fantastic restaurant, Locanda Perbellini al mare, with award-winning chefs and a beautiful beach-side patio. Great cuisine yet casual vibe. Luna's staff always helpful and friendly. Nearby Eraclea Minoa cliffs and free beach are such a worthwhile visit. This resort made for a great stay after seeing Valley of the Temples, a short drive away but far enough to feel like you've left the crowds there."
Villa Lekythos
"This a small luxurious B&B, rooms are brand spanking new with a superb bathroom and comfortable bed. The room is on the small size. Pretty gardens and a pool. Reasonable breakfast. Staff are brilliant and very helpful. It’s slightly off the main road and down a narrow gravel road. But then it’s quiet location."
Diodorus Luxury Experience
"Fabulous B&B, wonderful hosts would highly recommend. Too all those reviewers who say there is no Wifi - I can assure you there is. Our bedroom was comfortable with lots of extra touches. Fridge in the room, lots of towels and towels for the swimming pool. There is no restaurant for an evening meal so we got a taxi into Favara where there are plenty to choose from. Excellent breakfast as well"
B&B A Robba de Pupi
"The hosts were so kind and accommodating. They suggested an amazing restaurant for a specific craving we had. The property is peaceful and quiet which is great for a relaxing swim in the infinity pool with an incredible view. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The landscaping and flower planters were meticulously kept and gorgeous. Very comfortable bed and a spacious accommodation and overall. We had a rental car which we think is best for staying here since Valley of the Temples and Turkish Stairs are each approximately 15 minutes drive. Would stay here again!"
Relais Garden Cactus B&B
"B&B with attention to every detail, fairly large and very clean rooms, comfortable bathroom equipped with good products. Beautiful pool area and cactus garden, really well cared for. Very good breakfast. Quick check in and check out and kind and professional staff. Convenient internal parking and excellent location for visiting the Valley of the Temples and the Scala dei Turchi, staying on the hills a few minutes from everything. Interesting value for money. Recommended."
Agriturismo Reggia Saracena
"A small paradise to the relief of the loose for Joppolo Giancaxio. Arranged in the minimum details in the 25 years of owner's love. Otherwise, a friendly and polyglot person. Clean swimming pool and various children's games and not. The ideal place to get the spine off."
Hotel Villa Calandrino
"I rarely leave reviews, but I feel it’s important to share our experience so others know what to expect. We stayed at Villa Calandrino as a group of six (three couples) for four nights (Wednesday–Sunday). Based on the 4★ rating and photos, we arrived with high expectations. Unfortunately, the reality was very different. The hotel is located around a 10-minute drive from Sciacca centre, which is convenient. However, on arrival we were greeted in the driveway by an intoxicated individual, which was not a great first impression. The receptionist was polite and professional, but this was one of the few positives. We were informed on arrival that the swimming pool was unavailable. When we saw it, the water was green and clearly not maintained, despite temperatures reaching 26°C in mid-April. The surrounding grounds were also poorly kept, with mostly uncut grass and outdoor seating consisting of old, broken chairs. The rooms were very basic but acceptable. However, several key issues made the stay uncomfortable: • WiFi did not work at all • Rooms were only cleaned once during a 4-night stay • There was no proper hot water for showers (only lukewarm on one occasion) Breakfast was extremely disappointing and only available between 8:30 and 9:30am. On multiple mornings there was no butter, very limited bread (and none at all one day), and the overall offering was minimal: packaged ham, processed cheese, cornflakes, oats, and hard-boiled eggs only. No fresh fruit or variation. On one occasion we were sent to a nearby bar for breakfast, where we were given just one croissant and coffee each. The most frustrating aspect was the complete lack of management presence. Despite multiple requests, the manager/owner never appeared to address any of the issues. Communication was poor throughout, including being told late in the evening that we might need to change rooms due to a party, only for this to be cancelled at the last minute. There was also no proper check-out process — we were simply told to leave the keys and go. Overall, this property feels neglected and is clearly not being maintained to the standard advertised. The photos online do not reflect the current reality. Summary: Convenient location, but poor maintenance, lack of basic amenities, and absent management make this a stay we cannot recommend."
Baglio Caruana Cantina & Relais
"What a superb surprise when we found this place (not with the help of navigation apps). The beauty, serenity and unmatched hospitality cannot be exaggerated. The owners are friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed the wine tour and tasting experience. As for the dreamy room that is situated against the hills of the vineyards, that was beyond expectation. We had a day at the quiet, breezy pool that was a much welcomed rest. Highly recommend this place !"
La Dolce Vita rooms & suite
"Lovely accommodation high above Agrigento, with ocean views from the terrace. It requires climbing several flights of stairs to reach the accommodation. The rooms are clean, with spacious bathroom, and everything is very well maintained. Breakfast was good, with freshly baked, warm croissants."
Baia di Ulisse Wellness & Spa
"We had an excellent dinner and buffet breakfast with a CIE tour. All the houses along the narrow little street leading to this hotels had fences & closed gates. The hotel itself was gated and when the gates closed behind us we were told that they wouldn't open until next morning. If thus neighborhood is safe then why the precautions? If not why were we being housed there. Very strange indeed! The bathroom was nice but there was no lotion nor conditioner provided."
Verdura Resort, a Rocco Forte Hotel
"Wonderful place and fantastic service, we’ll definitely return back next year!!!"
