"We stumbled upon this wonderful inn by chance, after booking a nearby property (I won't name any names) that was terribly clean and had extremely rude and even aggressive staff. However, we were truly fortunate: La Locanda del Pilone is an oasis of peace and beauty, and we had a wonderful time. The property is an old house nestled in the vineyards, tastefully furnished with local antiques, immaculately clean, and beautifully scented. My sincere compliments to the Boroli family and to all, and I mean all, the staff: the reception staff, the housekeeper and cleaning staff, the dining room staff (measures and sommelier), and the fantastic team led by Michelin-starred Chef Federico Gallo, who was not only competent but also very friendly and kind. Our room was beautiful, spacious, with a large, new bathroom and spotlessly clean, featuring period furnishings that I personally love. The amenities also included wonderful Parma water, such as shower gels and toiletries. The towels, bathrobes, curtains, carpets, and drapes were all top-quality and so clean they looked like they came straight from the factory. It's a true 4-star hotel. We used the bistro and not the Michelin-starred one because we didn't want to bother other guests, as we have a one-year-old (a terrible age), but the staff was incredibly kind: they heated up his food for us and provided a high chair. The pool was beautiful and new. I recommend a tour of the cellar, with Arianna, a super knowledgeable winemaker, and her wines are sublime. The value for money is fair; you pay for quality, and that's fair enough, otherwise it wouldn't be quality. You made us feel at home; the facility and the staff were top-notch. We'll be back!!! Thank you for everything."

"I had to stay at this property, against my will, for work. The agency booked a single room in this 3-star hotel. The room was very small, located on the top floor of the building. As soon as I entered, I found a used guest towel on the desk, which I promptly put in the trash can. In addition to having a small single bed, it was incredibly hot. I went down to reception to report that the air conditioning wasn't working. They told me that given the weather (September with 32 degrees), they thought they'd turn it off. They kindly turned it on for me and provided me with a new guest towel. I returned to the room, waiting for the temperature to drop, but nothing was doing; the thermostat was stuck at 27.8 degrees. I called and reported that I was hot, that the air was stale, and that the feeling of claustrophobia, even though I don't suffer from it, was becoming oppressive. I just wanted to rest so I could go to work refreshed, but there was nothing that could be done, even changing rooms wasn't possible; the entire property was fully booked. The front desk advises me to change accommodations, but my agency says there's no refund. Forced to stay in a place like this for three days, it's hell, and no one is trying to find a solution. Oh, since it's hot, I think it's fair to arrive and find the fridge empty, not even complimentary water. If you want water, I have to go down to reception, but before 10 p.m. because then they close, and if you're thirsty, there's always the tap."

"We stayed in the 120 m² penthouse apartment, which was modern and tastefully furnished. It had two bedrooms and a spacious, fully equipped kitchen (with a Nespresso machine and capsules!). There's a terrace that wraps around the entire apartment with plenty of seating and some lovely views. The apartment is high enough that it's not too noisy during the day. Parking is available nearby. The owner was friendly, and check-in via mobile phone was hassle-free. We would definitely stay here again."

"A pleasant and quiet stay between the vineyards of Piemonte. We enjoyed our time enormously at MiaClara Wine Relais. The location is beautiful and very quiet, ideal for real rest. The family is particularly friendly and hospitality. The owners also have a very nice dog, we stayed in a room on the same floor with a private patio, especially the two private beds were a great added value for us. The jacuzzi was very nice during the hot days. The room itself was so careful and very nice, with comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. Our later arrival was not a problem. The breakfast was a good thing to look for every morning, and all was served at the table, and the day began with a beautiful table of fresh fruit. Another special experience was our last night, when the owner cooked for us. The dinner was really nice and completely finished our stay. The relais also connected the winehouse Pietro Rinaldi. A tour is absolutely a recommendation. The daughter of the owners took us through the winehouse and told us with great enthusiasm about the production, which is, of course, a degustation of their beautiful wines. MiaClara Wine Relais combines rest, hospitality, comfort and delicious food and drink in a beautiful place. For us this was a stay where everything was right and where we were happy to remember. Absolutely a recommender!"

At lunchtime, they offer a "deli" menu, with a choice of three appetizers (all three), which can be paired with either a first course, second course, or dessert, or two, or a complete meal (€30, €45, or €55). Everything is truly delicious. The wine list is extensive, from very affordable to "two kidneys and two corneas aren't enough." Friendly and fast service."

"Great stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ In one word: great. We have enjoyed our stay at MiaClara Wine Relais The location is beautiful, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable and everything looks up to the points. The breakfast is delicious and the wines are excellent. A absolute advice is to eat on site from Friday evening, if you have the chance. The owner cooks himself and you try it! The dishes are prepared with much love and really delicious. You should not miss that! The environment is also beautiful and perfect to discover the area. Fine extra point: you can load your electric car. But what really made our stay special was people. Everyone is awfully friendly, hospitality and helpful. They take time for you and give pleasant tips for the surroundings. We are very happy to come back here again!"
