"We were walk in customers from England. Made to feel very welcome indeed. Food was simply incredible and unexpected if I’m honest. Pork rib slow cooked was divine. A lovely lovely find. English is not really spoken so try hard! The staff are friendly and try to help. The wine menu is astonishing so if you’re a wine buff this should certainly be on you itinerary. You walk over the glass roofed cellar on your way in."

Château Origny - Moulins

"Majoituimme "off-season"-aikana ja tulimme hotelliin myöhään illalla, oli hieman vaikeaa löytää koko paikkaa. Päästyämme perille oli pieni pettymys, ettei ravintola ollutkaan auki, joten jouduimme vielä lähtemään autolla ruokaostoksille. Ystävällinen vastaanottohenkilö lupasi kuitenkin meille sauna/porealtaan käytön, josta nautimme kovasti. Huone oli tilava ja sänky oli hyvä. Aamiainen tarjoiltiin pöytään ja se oli erinomainen. Kaiken kaikkiaan erikoinen ja mieleenjäävä kokemus."

Brit Hotel de Grignan Vichy

"The room was clean and had a beautiful arched window but the air con was useless and as there was a heat wave this made the stay very uncomfortable. Additionally, they were unable to provide ice cubes which seemed bizarre given their star rating. Finally, confusion over pricing. 18 euros for breakfast and 9 euros for parking but room directory says 13 and 6. Updating a room directory is hardly difficult. So service needs to be improved."

"Feels like this was a tired hotel and had seen better days when it was on the main route from Paris to Med! Room was functional and quite tired Pictures give a sense of a much better place. Restaurant food was of good quality but not very inventive (although there was a La Reunion themed menu as the owners are from there - a little odd?) Staff and service was acceptable It was ok for a 1 night stay on way back to ferry but no more than that. Not really a place for a family"

"We only stayed one night and we were upgraded to a room with a sort of view 2 welcome drinks and they thru breakfast in as well. The Hotel is old but the room was decent and the location was fantastic, Car parking was a pain because the old car park was closed and finding the underground parking was a bit of a pain"

We had a wonderful dining experience with excellent wine recommendation, service and a very passionate conversation with the Chef and owner about some of his amazing dishes. The hotel’s strong emphasis on minimizing environmental impact is another welcome highlight. We will certainly be staying at Chateau du Bost again on our next trip."

"We are on the way from Luxembourg to Charente and we have made an interim stop at Château Ségot. I received the tip from a colleague of work and she had not promised too much. We were very friendly. Audrey showed us the rooms she had already cooled for us. There was a welcome greeting on the terrace. During the time, Audrey prepared our dinner. We enjoyed the evening with delicious wine from Elsass. The nice breakfast was also prepared with much love and we could enjoy many self-made sweets. Thank you Audrey for having so depressed us. Absolutely recommend."
