"We were walk in customers from England. Made to feel very welcome indeed. Food was simply incredible and unexpected if I’m honest. Pork rib slow cooked was divine. A lovely lovely find. English is not really spoken so try hard! The staff are friendly and try to help. The wine menu is astonishing so if you’re a wine buff this should certainly be on you itinerary. You walk over the glass roofed cellar on your way in."

"We very much enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was the usual Mercure standard and was excellent. The large room was very comfortable with a very sizeable bathroom with separate shower and bath. The only criticisms are : - the windows do not open - the carpets should replaced We could not work the AC and on mentioning it to the Reception staff they adjusted it to our required temperature from a central point. If you are staying at the hotel in summer the bedrooms at the front of the hotel are cooler. Overall we were very happy with the hotel and would definitely stay there again."

"We booked to stay for one night at this hotel whilst on a road trip through France. We were told to arrive between 2 and 6pm as the check in desk was only open between these times. We arrived just after 2.30pm to find the place all in darkness and locked up! We tried ringing the doorbell several times and calling the telephone no on the website to no avail. We waited in the car for quite some time and in the end had to contact ******* (who we had booked through) to find us an alternative accommodation for the night. I strongly suggest you avoid this place at all costs!!!!!"

"I really do not know how this hotel can claim to be a 4 star establishment. OK the location is good and the bed clean and comfortable (and the communal areas smell nice - which is more then can be said about the Ibis in Epernay). BUT, the place is a souless building site, the staff off hand at best. If this is not a functioning hotel close it. We knew there was no restaurant but there is no pool or comfortable areas OR atmosphere. Only one tea bag, no milk, no tissues, no sanitary bags and an empty water bottle (fill your own on the landing). Once again, no mention of Accor loyalty scheme. We are IHG loyal but thought we would give Accor ago (when in France…limited IHG). Never again."

"The hotel is located in a slightly remote area. Check-in is self-service after 2 p.m., and manual check-in is available after 5 p.m. I couldn't find the corresponding password when booking on Ctrip, so the check-in was not successful automatically. I needed to contact the hotel by phone in advance to obtain relevant information."
