"The hotel is modern and clean but not suitable for holiday makers at night. Location is ok for station and perhaps in day time but we arrived at 9:30 pm and everything was shut or shutting. We didn’t like to venture far as the area had no police presence. The hotel bar was not staffed and as it was my birthday I was disappointed. In the end we purchased food and drink from their vending machines. On a positive note the beds are comfortable, and the rooms spacious."

"We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf in het prachtige huis van Shirley en Barry. Ze waren fantastische gastheren - vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We zouden een bezoek zeker aanraden en zullen onze vrienden in Engeland vertellen over deze prachtige en rustgevende vakantiebestemming. Vergeet niet een fiets te huren om de vele fietspaden door het prachtige, ongerepte landschap te verkennen! We really enjoyed our stay in Shirley and Barry's beautiful home. They were excellent hosts - friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend a visit and will tell our friends here in England about this beautiful and restful holiday destination.
