"We have spent three days with my wife. The hotel is really beautiful: an old castle, which is super charming. We could not take advantage of the swimming pool and the tennis court because is was still to early in the season. The surroundings with the tufs waterfalls at walking distance, the lovely villages and the multiple caves within 30-60 minutes driving made our staying really remarkable. ... and the food! The restaurant is really great!"

"Gorgeous old building steeped in history deep in the Jura countryside. The rooms are comfortable without being particularly special but that didn’t really matter. Nice modern bathroom with a great shower. The standout attraction, other than the setting, was undoubtedly the truly world class restaurant. The full menu is great value although more than one might normally pay, but it provides an unforgettable experience. Lots of little extras, and a series of dishes created with imagination and skill. I can’t wait to return!"

"We couldn't get in the hotel until 3pm. It was locked. However we eventually got in. The member of staff on Reception was very pleasant. She, was the only member of staff I spoke to. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a good location. What let this place down was the frugal breakfast. There was hardly any food to eat. A young girl kept coming and checking the small plates in the fridge that had ham and cheese on. I would, say the portions she kept bringing out were for one person. It was ridiculous. There were a few guests there that morning and others were still coming down. They had no chance of getting breakfast. The bread had gone the fridge was empty. The poor souls were searching for whatever crumbs they could get. No idea of catering. For that reason I would not stay there again. Text and images you copy will automatically show here"

"My wife and I had a phenomenal stay! Alexandre and his mother provided us with an incredibly luxurious and thoughtful experience. The grounds are immaculate with happy and healthy herbs and fruit trees all around. We had delicious breakfast each morning overlooking the creek bordering the hotel. Alexandre offered us many helpful suggestions in Arbois and Pupillon that made our trip that much more special. Truly, a remarkable charming family operated hotel. We look forward to coming back."
