AKS Porto Heli Hotel ★★★★
"I was very happy with my stay. Would recommend for families with young children wholeheartedly. The rooms were clean and the view was beautiful. The location was also convenient."
Oasis Apartments ★★★
"The location of Oasis Apartments is fantastic: the house is located in a peaceful and very quiet area and everything is close to you. Shops, restaurants and the beach are within walking distance. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped. Our highlights are the bathroom, balcony and parking. The beautiful bathroom is renovated, comfortable and deserves 5 stars. We spent a lot of time on the large balcony with a beautiful view of the garden and the sea. The apartments have private parking, so the vacation is much more relaxed when you have a place to park your car. Our host, Michalina, is wonderful: so welcoming, friendly, helpful, attentive and will do everything to make your vacation perfect. Thank you Michalina for the excellent stay, we will definitely choose Oasis Apartments again."
Amalia Hotel Nafplio ★★★★
"The hotel front desk is very capable of solving problems. Due to the time difference, our reservation date was wrong, and the kind front desk guy quickly helped solve the problem."
Agamemnon Hotel ★★★
"The view is excellent, facing the sea. The castle in the middle used to be a prison, but now it is a hotel. The reception was very warm. I looked at several rooms and chose this one. The breakfast was very simple and free. The location was very good. Going downstairs was the beach, and the view was very good. The town was very beautiful, and the hotel and B&B were also very beautiful. The ruins on the top of the mountain were also very good!"
Vivari Acta ★★★
"Good value for money overall. The location is very good, very close to the beach, grocery store, and restaurants. Parking Breakfast is very humble and frugal. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room was fairly sized and had sufficient amenities. "
Naus Hotel ★★★★
"pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were simple but well-maintained, and the location was convenient."
Opal Executive Suites ★★★★
"The Opal Executive Suites is a lovely hotel, conveniently located about a 15-20 minute walk from the city center. The rooms are clean and thoughtfully designed, and the staff is incredibly helpful. One of the highlights is the in-room breakfast service, which adds a nice touch to the stay. We stayed in a family room located in the attic, which was cozy and well-arranged. The kids were comfortable on a high-quality sofa bed. The only small issue I noticed was the duvet, which didn’t have a separate cover—there was a sheet underneath, but not around it. While this was a minor detail for me as someone who pays close attention to cleanliness, it didn’t take away from our overall great experience. Despite this, I would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, service, and great location!"
Aion Luxury Hotel ★★★★
"Quite large room, super comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Additionally, the room had a large terrace with great views. The buffet breakfast is quite complete and rich, and the sweets also vary. The only downside is that the hydromassage shower did not work."
Frini Hotel ★★★
"The hotel is located in the center of Tolo, 30 meters from the sea. Very clean room, very kind and professional staff, excellent breakfast. The view from the balcony is truly fantastic. Not to be missed if you are visiting Mycenae and Epidaurus. We will definitely be back!"

The Grove Seaside Hotel
"My husband and I are returning guests. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel, beach, cleanliness, supportive staff, excellent buffet, beautiful pool with helpful lifeguards, and mostly the incredible hospitality from all staff and management. Easy access to the village and other attractions. Definitely coming back again. I want to again comment on the superior friendly staff answering all our questions and being patient with our Google translator.Lots of awesome memories."
Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Porto Heli
"We enjoyed our stay at Nikki Beach! Breakfast had many delicious options, the beds were very comfortable and the staff was excellent. The location is perfect as we visited both Hydra and Spetses, not to mention Porto Heli!"
Silo Luxury Rooms
"Me and my family have just stayed here at silo luxury rooms nafplio and I have to say I have stayed in 5 star hotels that are not as nice as this. All rooms come with iron kettle free water wine chocolates shampoo sewing kit toothbrush tooth paste and a little snack for breakfast. They are cleaned to a high standard with clean towels everyday and beds made"
Byron Traditional Hotel
"We love the Byron. We've loved it since we first stayed there in 1995 and this century we've been there for at least part of our holiday almost every year. Aris and his team provide a caring, welcoming, comfortable place to stay in a beautiful old building in Nafplio Old Town. Breakfasts are substantial and delicious, and while there is an indoors breakfast room there is also a terrace where you might well share the space with this season's kittens and their family (if you're concerned about hygiene, they do not jump up on tables!). The fact we first went to the hotel 30 years ago indicates that we're on the older side, so you might want to bear that in mind in our evaluation, but the Byron has its share of younger tourists and families as well."
Nafplia Palace Hotel & Villas
"The hotel is in a good location, the rooms are nice and the view is great."
Hydra Beach Resort
"Paraskevi was great! Massage was just what i needed!"
Amphitryon Hotel
"The hotel is only a three-star hotel. We went to Nafplio on a weekend, and there were no rooms in other hotels during the whole trip. In the end, we had to book this hotel. Indeed, as other friends said, the hotel facilities are old and the rooms are not big. In short, if you can avoid lightning, just avoid lightning."
Amanzoe
"We stayed at Amanzoe in April 2022 as a Family of 4...twice! I am not sure where to begin, it might be best to ask my children who were 4 and 6 at the time, who to this day still fondly talk of their time at 'Zoe' as they affectionately have named it. Located around 2.5hours drive from Athens, the drive down and onto the property is an experience in and of itself, surrounded by lush green trees, vineyards and olive groves. We were greeted by the team including the GM Ernst, who addressed the children and the adults; these actions gave you an idea of how special this trip was going to be from the moment we arrived. As we walked further in, after refreshments, you were met with an 'Acropolis like' design. Stunning. The most beautiful architecture, marble, white stone lapped by the bluest of pools. As we were shown around, we became even more enamoured. Whilst the size of Amanzoe is vast, the number of rooms/pavillions are few, which again speaks to privacy and luxury. Our pavillion, which when we came back the second time, we returned to, was beautifully designed and appointed again in the 'Acropolis like' style with a garden, terrace and private pool which we thoroughly enjoyed as a family. Incredibly clean and minimalist. The level of personalisation and luxury is second to none, from the complimentary minibar, to the complimentary movies, footwear, sunhats, beach bags, to each evening being met with turndown gifts for the family...one is utterly spoiled. Aside from the obviously beautiful property, I believe what made us return back to Amanzoe in such a short period of time, was that the service was and is incomparable. We didn't need to ask or say a thing, it seemed that everything was remembered, and the stay was personalised to us; from my husband's coffee, to the favourite drinks within the minibar, to the desserts at dinner for the children, the eggs at breakfast, to the bottled water down at the beach club. Service was second to none. Whilst it would be easy to never leave, there is plenty to do close by, and we enjoyed getting to know Martina and Manous, who own the farm we visited during the stay; visited Spetses, a beautiful Island a boat ride away from 'Zoe' and plenty more sights. We want to thank Ernst, Jordan and the team for the most wonderful stay, and returned stay, and we look forward to seeing you all again soon - not least because our departure bracelet gifts are a constant reminder that we must return. We would rate Amanzoe a 10/10."
180 South Seaside Hotel
"We stayed two nights after Napflio It is a relaxing nice hotel everything was perfect, if you are looking for some nightlife or activities it's not the place. Elani and the guy gave us excellent service. The rooms are clean, we loved the decoration. We will be back."
Epidavros Seascape
"Excellent location to explore and dine out in Epidavros but need a car. Plenty of free parking. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. The apartment was very spacious with a great balcony which had a dining room table and six chairs and a sofa and coffee table overlooking the amazing view of the Greek islands ahead. Good value for money. Very clean. Quiet. All the amenities including washing machine, oven, large Re wasn’t anything needing"
Hapimag Resort Porto Heli
"excellent resort with a wonderful sea. tranquility, silence and absence of confusion. the pleasure of listening to the silence of the sea. the beauty of the views is immense. holiday to repeat in the coming years. Porto Cheli is a splendid village."
Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat
"Every aspect of our stay was beyond our expectations. Great location, really comfortable rooms and beds, excellent breakfast and the service was exquisite, Georgia helped us in all her advice, which made our stay in the Nafplio area perfect."
Seafos Luxury Resort & Spa - Limited Edition by Leonardo Hotels
Aloe Luxury Apartments
"One of the best places I have ever visited. Froso, the owner is a lovely lady who pays lots of time trying to make her customers feel like home. Breakfast was delicious, the rooms cleaned daily."
Panorama in Tolo
"I’m not someone to write bad reviews but feel compelled to do so in this case. Hotel is poorly maintained and poorly managed. Booked 10 nights after reading positive reviews. The 2 stars are for the view and pool area, the location is up hill out of town meaning a fantastic view from the balconies which are all sea facing. We arrived on a Friday to find the bathroom sink tap was broken. We reported this and were told the hotel knew and a plumber was coming on Saturday to fix it. By Sunday it had still not been fixed and now the toilet had stopped working and we had to flush it by pouring saucepans of water down it. We told the hotel repeatedly that this was unacceptable and we needed a plumber urgently to fix the tap and toilet. Eventually on Monday afternoon both were fixed. Our frustration was that the hotel had knowingly put us into a room that had broken fixtures, didn’t offer a change of room or any form of goodwill gesture for the inconvenience. The hotel was far from full so I would have expected, if a broken tap was known about, to not use that room for guests until fixed. Rooms were also in a poor state of repair with a damaged mirror frame and broken drawer on the wardrobe. The sheets were changed and the towels but the bathroom was not cleaned once during our 10 night stay. We are not messy people but I would again have expected the sink and shower cubicle to be wiped. Also be advised the hotel allows non-resident guests to use the pool if they buy a drink. This was mainly families, which was OK, but one afternoon a group of 7 young men used the pool, bombing each other, being disruptive and preventing ourselves and 2 other sets of resident guests using the pool. The other guests and ourselves both complained to the hotel staff, who initially didn’t take any action, so we asked the men ourselves to stop and got jeered at. Eventually a staff member had a word with them, but seemed to be laughing along so the behaviour continued. Ourselves and the other guests gave up and left the pool. What is the business sense of allowing non-resident guests who spent around 20 Euros between them to upset three lots of resident guests who will have spent thousands of Euros between them? The final disappointment was breakfast, when there are literally orange trees in the car park to be have the option of juice that I’m not sure had ever been near an orange and tinned peaches with no fresh fruit was poor. I’m not sure if this all sounds picky but this is a hotel that is charging 150 Euros a night for the room and the experience did not match this cost. We gave all of this feedback to the hotel when we left, so I hope they take it on board and make improvements. In the meantime there are far better places to stay for the same price."
