"I recently completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training at Sewall House, and I had a very positive experience. After teaching for several years, I came to this training wanting to deepen my understanding of yoga beyond sequencing and asana. What I found was an experience rooted in a genuine love of yoga and community. Donna has created a space where people are welcomed, and her effort to teach the tradition and practice of yoga was apparent and relevant. Sewall House is peaceful and welcoming. While there, I was able to let go of modern day distractions, be present and reconnect with my intentions for participating. I left with a deeper appreciation for the eight limbs of yoga, renewed confidence in my teaching, and a reminder that yoga is ultimately about connection—not performance. Whether you're considering becoming a teacher or simply want to deepen your own practice, I wholeheartedly recommend Sewall House. I'm incredibly grateful for the experience and the connections I made to other like minded people. "Sewall House is a place for healing. I came to Sewall House feeling completely broken. I left feeling I had found my inner strength, peace, and joy. Amrita and Ajeet and their helpers made all of us feel completely cared for, supported, and loved. They live that mission fully. They will help you determine what you need and guide you to finding it. Daily meditation, yoga, and delicious vegetarian meals support physical and psychological healing. Sewall House is a lovely historic building in which you can settle in and feel at home. Nearby is a lovely lake, several hikes and a spectacular waterfall. Sitting in the waterfall is a truly transformative experience. If you need to reconnect to your center, your joy, or yourself, I highly recommend Sewall House."

"I live locally and decided to try a stay at the brand new Wolastoq Inn and Suites. I have friends and family who come regularly for visits but do not have extra space for them to sleep. The decor in the room was very nice. Everything was neat as a pin. The paintings were absolutely beautiful. I stayed in room #1 which had a queen sized bed, couch, desk, huge television, jacks for charging electronic devices, and storage for plenty of clothes. The refrigerator was missing but is on the way. Also included was an additional room with a twin sized bed and a full sized television. I thought what a great place for the kids to hang out. I stayed for two nights with a friend. We slept like rocks. In the morning they had a nice continental styled breakfast with muffins, bananas, apples, and coffee. We met the owner and several of the staff who were all very nice and accommodating. I would recommend the Wolastoq Inn and Suites to anyone. Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. "Ivey's reception desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The connected bistro was also great. Since I was traveling by bicycle, it was nice to have a restaurant so handy. The wait staff was personable and efficient and the food (Thai chili chicken wings and farmer's fries) was delicious. The room was comfortable and well stocked. While the hotel is dated, it did the job and I was very happy with my visit. I would definitely stay her again."

"We stayed here while on a trip up north to visit family. The hotel was recently renovated and was everything that we could have asked for. The lobby is warm and welcoming. The staff friendly and courteous. Our room looked brand new with lots of lighting and new carpeting. Comfortable king bed. Very quiet in the section where we stayed. The bathroom was small but adequate. The shower door was a half-door which allows water to get on the floor. A bit odd but plenty of water pressure available, well lit and very clean. We ate dinner across the street at a brewery. Great location as we could walk over there no problem. We had breakfast in the hotel. Really good food and outstanding service from the wait staff. Overall this place hits all of the marks. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to the county."
