Pokolbin Hotels with Balcony

Staying at TLR was the highlight of our Hunter Valley's trip. We especially enjoyed the heated pool which makes swimming possible even in the winter. The availability of the bikes complimented well with the beautiful nature surrounding. The view in the retreat makes me want to go back soon. The only improvement would be to have a few more hooks to hang stuff/clothes, a quick call to ensure we checked in OK for a tad of personal touch. The pillow was a bit high and the bed a bit soft for me but it's hard to cater for everyone in this matter so I'd still say it was a very comfortable stay!

We stayed at The Carriages Boutique Hotel and Vineyard and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip. This was a place I’d wanted to stay at for a long time, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. The location was beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature, birdlife, and the quiet atmosphere of the Hunter Valley. On our first night, we even had the whole property to ourselves, which made the experience feel extra special. We enjoyed a lovely dinner nearby and were able to walk back through the gardens to the hotel afterwards, which added to the charm of the stay. Breakfast was simple but perfect, delivered in a basket and ideal for a relaxed morning. One of the best moments was lighting the fireplace on our final night and enjoying a quiet evening with a glass of wine. The location, service, atmosphere, and overall experience were all fantastic, and this will definitely be one of our fondest memories from the trip.

Very cute hotel in fab location. Lovely grounds with great views. Check in could have been easier - there was nobody around when we arrived and we weren’t sure which room we were in. The info had been emailed to me, but as a foreign national I needed the WiFi to get the email! Rooms are spacious and well equipped. We weren’t sure which grateful for the coffee machine and pods and loved sitting on the terrace with a bottle of wine after a good days tasting. Very much recommend!

We truly loved the whole experience offered, from the individual chalets in the midst of the woods, to the kangaroos at our doorstep, to the wines offered at deeply discounted prices in the fridge and the comfortable beds. Locationwise, it is very central as many vineyards, Hunter Valley Gardens and restaurants are just 5-10minutes drive away. Definitely will stay here again should we return to this region

The resort is great, the villa is clean and nice, kids loved it. The only issue I had was when the reception was busy, no one answered the phone while I was trying to call for shuttle bus. So I ended drove my own car instead. The food was great too. Would love to come back again.

Lovely spot for a weekend in Pokolbin, set way back from the road in a picturesque clearing filled with wallabies! So nice to sit on the balcony and watch the sun go down as they fed on the grass. Lovely spacious room with kitchenette and a big bathtub. Beautiful bathroom products by Jurlique was a nice touch ! The bed was a little firm for me but my husband loved it. Knocked off a star for cleanliness as you could see the walls were quite dusty when the up lights were on. It didn’t feel super private , you could hear all conversation when guests were out on their balconies.

Friendly staff, cozy hotel room with needy amenities. The restaurant is pretty good. Strong recommendation 👍

Lovely place that was clean and tidy, great for our 1 night stay with our puppy. Will stay again. Our room was one of the ones that was looking at the vines and mountains Would be great if there were wine glasses and not just champagne glasses in the room so we can enjoy some of the wine that we bought.

The entrance to the room is in the wild. When it is 2 pm, the kangaroo sleeps under the shade of the trees. Then there is a seating area outside the room, which is very comfortable. Children can run in the grass and play with the branches, so happy. In the afternoon, I went to the nearby supermarket to buy some burdock food. The two families made their own dinner, which was very casual and very holiday. The day of the stay is a sunny day. In the evening, you can create a photo. Under the setting sun, the tree shadow is beautiful. If you are lucky enough to catch the kangaroo, the picture is very interesting. In the evening, when you leave the room, you can see the stars in the sky. The Milky Way is clearly visible. The mobile phone broadcasts a quiet little music. It is a step with the loved ones. Stay for a while, don't be too romantic.
