Wengen Hotels with Balcony

Location was considerably near train station but required a steep uphill walk towards it, was a challenge with heavy luggages. Quiet neighborhood, with a nice village view from the balcony and fresh air. Breakfast spread was decent. Reception counter was not manned all the time, especially late at night or early mornings. Hairdryer was not available in the room, had to use the common one in the basement sauna changing room.

The location is average, not the city center. Although there are buses very close to the hotel, the fare is quite expensive. A small shop selling cigarettes opposite the PS Hotel to buy a ticket 2.4 one-way seems to be a little cheaper than the original price. Uber is about 8 euros to the National Opera, so if there are a lot of people, Uber is more suitable. The room is very large. I booked a triple room without telling the front desk much. When I entered the room, there were three single beds. It was spacious and the mattress was very comfortable. The sanitary condition is very good. But there is no toothpaste, toothbrush, or slippers. The breakfast is very pleasantly surprised at the price of this room rate and is commendable. The service staff is very good. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the airport by Uber, less than 20 euros. If you book a taxi at the front desk, it costs 35 euros.

Halfway up the mountain, Wengen stands down for 5 minutes and faces the snowy mountains. The sun is very abundant and the scenery is very good! There is a supermarket nearby, and there is a hotel restaurant downstairs. The package price is around 30 Swiss francs. The front desk staff is very good and very enthusiastic. recommend!

Not close to the train station or lift station. Requires a pretty good uphill walk. About 15-20 min walk uphill from train station, and about 10-15 min walk from the ski lift/gondola. But once you get there, the location is beautiful. The hotel does offer a shuttle/e-car/bus transport. It's quiet, overlooks the town, views of the mountains, perfect secluded space. Hotel is clean, rooms are beautifully designed, compact but functional. Beds are comfortable, loved the rooms. We had a family room which was perfect for our family of four. The family room consists of two separate rooms across from each other in the hallway. In the hallway, there was a private entrance that brought you into the space where the two rooms were located. We loved this, because it turned our hallway between the two rooms into a foyer. Service was attentive and detailed. Loved the welcome beverage at check-in - nice touch, set the tone for the rest of the stay. Bar was cute and menu was creative. Patio deck restaurant was a perfect place for lunch. Amazing view of town and mountains, outdoor kitchen. Restaurant was great - food and service were wonderful. Breakfast was lovely. We do wish they would have changed up a couple things each day, because it was the same thing every day. Pool/Spa area was amazing. It had everything - sauna, steam room, plunge pool, two lounge pools, hot tub, showers. Caution: remember we are in Europe, some people may enter some of the facilities nude. We are personally not accustom to that, so it was definitely a little alarming for our children to see grown adults around naked. It would not be a bad idea for the hotel to have a policy around nudity or at least warn guests at check-in, on the website, or with signage. Wengen was our favorite place we visited on our tour of Switzerland, will be back, and when we come back it will be at this hotel.

Traditional Swiss houses are very warm. Although it is far from the train station, the scenery is invincible, and you can see the Jungfrau and the canyon from the balcony. The service is also very professional and thoughtful, worthy of being a century-old store. Another: the building materials on the mountain are all shipped by helicopter, which may be why everything is expensive.
