"I stayed at Hotel Victoria Lauberhorn in the beautiful mountain village of Wengen, and it turned out to be a fantastic base for exploring the area. One of the biggest advantages is its location — the hotel is right next to the train station, which makes arrival and departure incredibly easy, especially in a car-free village like Wengen. The hotel itself has a welcoming, alpine feel, and the rooms are comfortable and well suited for both short and longer stays. I had breakfast included, and it was a great way to start the day before heading out into the mountains. There was a good selection available, and the setting made it even more enjoyable with the surrounding scenery. One of the standout features of this hotel is the wellness area. After a day of exploring or being out in the mountains, having access to a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and spa facilities makes a big difference. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind, especially if you’re visiting in colder months or after a long day of hiking or skiing. From a practical point of view, being right next to the train station means you have quick and easy access to nearby destinations like Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, and Jungfraujoch. It makes getting around the region very straightforward without needing to worry about transport logistics. I would highly recommend Hotel Victoria Lauberhorn to anyone visiting Wengen. "It was a pretty good stay. We stayed for two more days. We will stay here again if we have the chance. I like it very much. It is a hotel on a hillside. The customer service lady of Ctrip was very nice. Due to the location of the hotel, our itinerary might not be able to catch up and we needed to communicate with the hotel to change the date. The customer service lady helped us communicate in the middle of the night. I really loved staying here!"

"Although the location of the hotel is on the uphill section of the town, you can contact the hotel to pick you up after arriving at the train station. The room is very large, the balcony view is super beautiful, you can directly see the Jungfrau Mountain. The service staff is also very good, specially giving us an updated version of the map and some travel advice. The breakfast was great, the coffee was all you can drink, and I knew we were going up the mountain and filled us with a pot of hot coffee. Overall it feels great!"

The disadvantage is that although it is only more than 300 meters away from the station, it is a steep slope. Everyone who comes to the hotel is out of breath and needs to climb mountains to return to the hotel."
