🙂 Sharing a hidden gem hotel I discovered in Bole. Last night, we returned to Bole City from Sayram Lake Scenic Area after 10 PM. We had booked the Bole Xihai Lijing Hotel (Bole Grand Bazaar Branch) in advance. The hotel is located right next to the Grand Bazaar, with beautiful night views and convenient parking. The lobby was very comfortable, with a luxurious and warm decor. The receptionists were friendly and attentive. The room was even more satisfying; it was very warm, fully equipped with smart technology including a smart toilet, automatic curtains, a smart bathroom mirror, a hairdryer, and a kettle. The room was clean and tidy, with attention to detail, and even included an emergency flashlight, bottled water, tea, and coffee. Breakfast was on the third floor, beautifully decorated and clean. Unfortunately, we forgot the breakfast time and arrived late the next morning; the restaurant had already closed. However, a lovely lady in the restaurant said they had some side dishes, steamed buns, eggs, and milk, and offered to prepare them for us if possible. Surprisingly, the side dishes were plentiful and delicious, including incredibly tasty braised beef. The milk was also authentic and rich, making for a truly satisfying meal. I'm so grateful for the hotel restaurant's attentive service! 🌹🌹 Also, there's a Snow Lotus Restaurant next to the hotel entrance, with luxurious decor and a strong exotic flair. It's always brightly lit and packed at night. On our evening at the hotel, we had a hot and comforting lamb soup rice (everything at the restaurant was delicious, but it was too late to try it). During this trip, I only stayed one night at the hotel and didn't have time to explore the bazaar. Next time I'm in Bole, this hotel will be my go-to place! ❤🥰🥰

The experience at Sailimu Lake Chaoke Stargazing Camp far exceeded expectations. The camp's environment is stunning, directly facing Sailimu Lake and snow-capped mountains, with vast grasslands that offer incredibly therapeutic views. A special shout-out to the staff for their warm and attentive service; from check-in to responding to daily needs, everything was thoughtful and considerate. The Stargazing Room was romantic and comfortable, with panoramic views that were absolutely superb – allowing us to take in the lake and mountain scenery without even leaving the room. The afternoon tea selection was rich and the ingredients were fresh; the buffet breakfast was abundant and delicious, offering a full range of Chinese and Western options. Staying here allows you to immerse yourself in the magnificent beauty of Sailimu Lake while enjoying comfortable and well-appointed services. It's definitely worth staying at when visiting Sailimu Lake.

Aiyo~weiyaWhen I booked the yurt, my simple desire was to bring my 4-and-a-half-year-old to experience Kazakh culture and a different way of life. But...
Surprise 1: Located at the highest point of Sai Lake, I could wake up to watch the sunrise and even see the entire lake. For adults, the view is incredible.
Surprise 2: The owners are a family of three. Their son is a handsome Kazakh man who speaks Mandarin the best in the family. He handles all customer communications, making communication seamless. The family is incredibly friendly and helpful, and they'll do their best to satisfy any request, as long as they can.
Surprise 3: They have a herd of cattle, and another family on the hill behind them has a herd of sheep. They also have two sheepdogs and several horses. It's a truly delightful experience for children. They can play with the dogs, talk to the lambs, ride horses, and ride horses... And they even learned to distinguish between sheep and cow dung, as it's so common and natural.
Surprise 4: For dinner, we ordered lamb skewers, braised lamb chops, and pilaf. Two adults and one child couldn't finish them all; the portions were generous and the flavors were excellent. The clear mutton soup had no mutton smell at all (it's best to order it in advance, as it takes about two hours to simmer).
Of course, if you're choosing a yurt, you should be prepared. Only consider choosing one if you can accept the following: 1) There's no private toilet, only a dry toilet, and no showers. 2) There's a stove inside, and you have to add the charcoal yourself at night, otherwise it won't last until the next morning. 3) The standard of cleanliness should be comparable to other yurts, not five-star hotels.
Overall, if I were to stay in this area again, I would still choose this yurt.

Guest UserIt's really wise to come to Sailimu Lake to choose this one! The hotel is very close to the new visitor center. In the morning, you don't have to get up early to go to the scenic spot, saving a lot of toss. The room is spacious and bright, the window is facing the snow-capped mountains in the distance, and you can see the scenery while lying on the bed. The boss is super enthusiastic, not only helping with luggage, but also reminding us of the best time to watch the sunrise and blue tears, and the service details are directly full!

Guest UserIf you can stand the dry toilets in the countryside, come here! I actually lived in the summer pasture of Kazakh herdsmen! The experience is super great! Sunset, starry sky, sunrise, herds of cattle and sheep, enthusiastic puppies. There are so many kinds of sheep calls. Marmots running all over the hillside in the early morning. Before going up the mountain, I washed up at the Dianjiangtai parking lot. I also brought some tap water in a bottle and some wet wipes, so I could clean myself. I just washed it briefly at night. The yurt had a stove, it was not cold, and I also boiled hot water. The landlord gave me small peaches and apricots, sweet! The key is to see the sheep herding up close and ride a horse, happy and happy! There is electricity available at night.

Old MAKThis hotel is located outside the Sayram Lake scenic area and appears to be newly opened, as the facilities are incredibly new and clean. The property is quite large, primarily offering two types of accommodations: RV-style 'space capsule' rooms and small cabins. We initially booked a space capsule RV, but the front desk upgraded us to a cabin, claiming it was larger with two separate rooms, two bathrooms, and a living area in between. While the cabin was new and tidy, personally, I felt the space capsule RV would have offered a more futuristic and modern feel.
If you're driving, you can park at the hotel's front desk or drive closer to your unit. Our room was near the restaurant and coffee shop, and even after closing hours, there was minimal noise despite people passing by.
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant on our first night. The dishes tasted good, but the wait was excessively long. For just a few simple dishes, we waited almost an hour. What's more, we had informed the restaurant of our dinner reservation right after check-in, so they should have had ample time to prepare. This long wait was simply unacceptable. While waiting, I also noticed other guests leaving due to the extended delays. We repeatedly urged the staff, but their helpless expressions made it hard to fully blame them. However, I truly hope the hotel improves this aspect, as it significantly detracts from the overall experience. We had planned to eat early and explore the surroundings, but by the time dinner was finally served an hour later, it was already late at night, making it impossible to enjoy the hotel's amenities.
The hotel also offers a buffet breakfast at the same location. There's a good selection, but even before breakfast officially ended, we saw most of the staff coming to get food boxes, eating the same breakfast as us. Although we were almost finished, when we went back for more, there was very little food left, which was disappointing. While I appreciate the hotel's good treatment of its employees, allowing them to share the same meal choices as guests, I suggest they have their breakfast after guests have finished. It feels a bit off to pay a relatively high price for accommodation and then have to share breakfast with staff before the service time is even over, especially given the hotel's higher pricing, which comes with higher expectations.
The hotel's coffee shop has a strong design aesthetic and is perfect for Instagram. Unfortunately, the coffee prices were quite high, so we didn't make a purchase, simply taking some photos before leaving. However, if you have time, it would be a very comfortable place to relax for a while.

Guest UserThe room is good, with an inner and outer suit, and it is quite comfortable to stay in. The location is also good, very close to the east gate of the scenic area, and it is very convenient to go in and out, but the hygiene is not good. I am used to wiping everywhere, and to be honest, it is really not clean. The service is not good. This kind of apartment is basically half-check-in and half-check-out, but sometimes they will say hello when you come in and out, and they will automatically refill the bottled water the next day. To be honest, if the hygiene of the B&B apartment near the scenic area is better, it is okay to live, because the house is in a good location

Guest UserThis hotel is a great choice for visiting Sayram Lake. The view from the window is of windmills and grasslands – absolutely stunning and soothing. The rooms are clean and tidy, the service is warm and attentive, and the amenities are complete. It's convenient for watching the sunrise and sunset, and you can see the starry sky just above – what a beautiful place!

The hotel is located in the commercial street of Saihu Scenic Area. It is a bustling area. It is very convenient for dining and shopping (the prices around the scenic area are too high and the price is very poor), not far from Saihu Scenic Area. Hotel facilities are relatively new, facilities are relatively complete, the overall service is not bad, but there is no elevator, even the second floor room, it will be a bit difficult for families with large luggage.

Staying in a yurt at Sayram Lake is an absolute treat! Not only do you get to witness the stunning golden sunrise over the mountains, but you also get to savor incredibly authentic Kazakh cuisine. The owner's hand-grabbed lamb, milk tea, and roasted meat are all phenomenal – so fresh and delicious. Enjoying a warm, home-style meal after watching the sunrise just fills you with so much joy! 🥩 The yurt's location is fantastic; step right out to breathtaking lake and snow-capped mountain views. After dinner, a stroll along the lake, with the breeze blowing, is pure bliss! The accommodation is also very clean and comfortable, and the service is incredibly thoughtful. Highly recommend!
