"Initially booked a deluxe queen suite and Trip.com / hotel confirmed we could add a single bed. Upon arrival, hotel said they couldn't and changed us to a family suite even though they have rollaway beds available and the deluxe queen suite had ample space. Room: Family suite is spacious but A/C took very long to warm up the room. Bathroom is open concept with clothing rack situated outside the shower closet which makes it inconvenient to dress/undress. Breakfast buffet has a decent selection of Chinese dishes including a noodle station. Location: Hotel is ＜10 min drive from train station and old town area which is quite convenient considering that most of the hotels that are walking distance from the old town are dated and undermaintained."

"A very cozy homestay, clean and convenient. You can wash and dry clothes on the roof. There is a washing machine. It is very close to the ancient city. You can also visit the ancient city. It is a homestay run by an old couple. They are warm and hospitable. When I left, the old couple sent me to the door to say goodbye and told me how to take the bus. If I come to Taining again, I will stay at their home"

"The room was clean and refreshing, the environment was nice and quiet, and the receptionist was exceptionally helpful, carefully recommending local restaurants. The owner was very thoughtful, providing disinfectant wipes on the toilet seat. The breakfast was delicious; the stir-fried shredded pork with vegetables was amazing, and the soy milk with ginger was both tasty and warming. The dining environment was clean and the service was excellent. The drivers were also very friendly; we negotiated the price and time with them beforehand, and they took turns picking us up and dropping us off, which was very convenient and reassuring. I will definitely choose this guesthouse again next time I visit Taining."
