Surat Thani Hotels with Balcony

"The hotel was clean and the bed was just right not too firm and not too soft, making it comfortable for a good night’s sleep. I booked a room for three people and the price was reasonable. The room was spacious with large beds, and the housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything clean. I stayed for a total of three nights and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is located in a quiet area, which might feel a bit far from shopping malls and some places I needed to visit but it also made the stay more peaceful. Check-in is strictly at 2:00 PM and there is a 300 THB cash deposit required for the key card. Overall, it was a good stay and worth the price."

"Facilities: Microwave, coffee machine, plates and bowls are available in the room. Hygiene: Very clean. Two toilets, one with shower. The swimming pool is very clean. Environment: Built on the mountain, so there is no garden-like feeling, all villas. A bit remote, suitable for self-driving. Service: The beautiful lady who checked in was very warm and polite. If you have a car, I highly recommend this hotel. The only drawback is that the shower head in the bathroom is too small, I hope it will be improved."

"Found a used ”object” on the sink which makes an otherwise a clean room feel extremely unhygienic. Staffs are not there when we need them. No staffs can be reached. Otherwise, quite good value for the price, I guess."

"Communication was a bit challenging. I'd messaged them via the travel site and emailed the correct address, but it seems calling is the most reliable way to reach them. I wanted to arrange a pickup, as Bolt/Grab services in Surat Thani don't accommodate 5 people; they only cater for 4, and we also had quite a bit of luggage. The van was supposed to meet us at Surat Thani station, but our bus dropped us off in the city center instead. This led to a dramatic 45-minute wait, during which we made several calls and sent emails. It was incredibly frustrating because our emails weren't getting through, and the staff member's English wasn't good enough to fully understand my concerns. Eventually, we were picked up, but by then, after a 6-hour journey, we were completely worn out. Upon arrival, check-in was quick. Unfortunately, the rooms don't have balconies, but they are clean. The bed was too soft; if one person turned over, the other could feel it. However, there was a TV, so we could connect our Chromecast to watch Netflix. The pool was beautiful, and there was a designated smoking area outside. Two pillows are provided per bed, so there's no need to ask for extras. The only downside is that pool towels aren't provided, so you have to use your bath towel for the pool and then dry yourself with it again after showering. I find this unhygienic; I asked for a second set of towels, but I think this should be a standard offering. They diligently refill water bottles daily, and housekeeping is excellent – you don't even need to ask, they simply do a great job. The hotel has a fridge stocked with drinks and beer for purchase, which allowed us to comfortably sit outside. Someone is always at the reception until late, which is reassuring. It was very quiet, so we had the pool all to ourselves the next day too. We found the mall, and the receptionist kindly helped us locate a supermarket less than a 5-minute walk away. She also arranged a taxi for us to the pier for the following day. For our two-night stay, it was perfect. We only had breakfast one morning, and it was less than we expected and not really worth the price. All in all, this was an excellent hotel for us to unwind before catching our boat. The staff truly goes out of their way to help you wherever they can."

"We stayed at Evergreen overnight to travel over to Koh Samui the next day. The room is clean and tidy, staff are friendly helpful. It is close to restaurants and café, it's a convenient location. I'm not surprised that the hotel does not provide breakfast given the price. I will stay there again for a short lay over."

"A very reasonably priced hotel with clean and comfy room and small balcony. The location is just over the bridge the other side from the main town but it is quite peaceful and very easy to access the night markets. I would recommend renting a moped or even a bicycle would be fine. If you visit, walk down to the waterfront near the crossroads bar and you might see a big monitor lizard in the tree. Also I recommend a little trip to Koh Lamphu which is a little island you can go around on foot or bicycle. Next to the entrance there is a little food market which opens at night. A perfect way to experience a bit of local Thai life."

"The hotel is modern but very thin walls carry the noise from the ceiling and other rooms. Kettle and mugs provided but no coffee!! First time i have stayed In a hotel that did not have coffee in the room very strange. The TV is very old fashioned nothing in English. Shower needed to run a long time to give hit water What is most annoying is the balcony light which cannot be switched off so the room is filled with white artificial light even after the curtain is drawn. Doesn't make any sense."

"It was good overall. The daytime security guard was exceptionally friendly and provided excellent service; I was very impressed. My only minor complaint is that the power went out while we were sleeping on our checkout day, lol."
