"The resort is in good condition, although routine maintenance is not performed. In our room, the outlets and hairdryer didn't work, and the towel hook was detached from the wall. The staff seemed poorly informed about the resort's amenities. Regarding food, it's best to dine outside, as you can find much better options for the same price. Otherwise, the resort is average."

"I you are looking to get out of the hustle and bustle of Palermo for a little getaway to a beautiful seaside town, then this is the place for you. The grounds are absolutely stunning with a sunset you have to see to believe. The amenities are top notch. And it is a family-run establishment, which will make you feel immediately at home. This extends even out into the town, as you will receive the local treatment anywhere that you are referred. I cannot recommend this place enough!"

"We had a really enjoyable stay at the Costa Azul, this Hotel is lovely. Extreemly clean, family run and managed, with great emphasis on creating a proffessional image. Maria & Daniella, Linda & Lydia were always avaliable to answer any questions and make your visit pleasant. We had a standard double room which was very comfortable and relaxing, although situated by the railway the trains ran a minimal service. Food was quite adequate, breakfast is continental and dinner was pre-ordered in the morning. The external dining area was by the pool. The location was fine -with transport, quite a walk from town by beach - but town was quaint with fantasic seafood resturant, nice bars and wow what a lovely ice cream parlor. I reccomend a car, so much to see, amazing views and so many places to visit. The train from Balestrate to Palermo is well worth the trip. Loved Segresta, San Vito, Caslemare del Golfo all accessable by car. The rubbish is a problem you will encounter in Sicily it is not a problem of the hotel although the management endevour to address this issue. Would return with no hesitation, I felt we had a real glimpse of what Sicily could offer, Loved it !!"

"Easter lunch in this place that I will remember for an exorbitant cost, 50 euros/pax, for the quality, terrible, of the food, the disorganization, the dirt and the horrible "farm". Unfortunately I had not seen the reviews because, evidently, they are peculiarities of this place. Totally not recommended"

"Hotel is well located but split across a quiet road. No real complaints, but the room wasn't as nice or big as expected (for the price & description) - decor was very tired. Breakfast was fine. Swimming pool was tiny (picture is v.deceptive!). Spa is in basement of the building opposite the main hotel - we had a massage which was OK. Town is pleasant but not anything of great interest. It is a good location for exploring the north coast (you'll need a car)."

"Poor lunch, no cold cuts. Decent appetizer, a type of pasta, for the second course a chicken leg and 10cm. Of sausage. Plenty of oil everywhere. To finish a decent cannoli. I think that 35 euros per person is an exaggeration lacking quality and quantity. The staff is very polite."
