"We booked a Saturday night stay. Reception staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Our rooms were neat with a large bed, desk, occasional chair, bar fridge, microwave and kettle. Tea and coffee was also provided. Sufficient parking is available within the property and in the basement. Our room was adjacent to thd pool. Some guests at the pool area were so noisy that we were woken from our sleep. You can also hear the vehicle sounds from the freeway. Breakfast is optional extra at R155 per person. Room service is available until 10 pm."

"Awesome views for the beach, very clean. Tight parking entrance....went there for the spa only. The massage was okay but the pedicure was a rushed job & they seemed to just want it over & done with. Initially had been denied the robes for the spa, allegedly bcz all the robes had gone for laundry but in the end they gave us robes..."

"The hotel has a large balcony, but the balcony is connected to the next door, so you must close the doors and windows at night. The hotel does not have a hair dryer. The hotel is very old. It is a renovation of an old house. It has its own swimming pool and beach, but I don’t know how to get down to the beach."

"We stayed in the penthouse. Amazing views and beautiful interiors. The hosts Charles and Jacque were very friendly and accommodating. From the homemade biscuits in the room to the lovely breakfasts with the most delicious muesli and fruit bakes and French toast, and the lovely gardens. It was the personal touches that made it such a lovely weekend away. This place is a real gem!"

"What a beautiful and amazing French Victorian guest house this is! We were welcomed on 7 June with an extremely helpful young man that helped us park, find reception and helped us with our bags to our room. The lady at Reception is an absolute pleasure to deal with and very welcoming, polite and helpful. She really made our stay feel like home. We were mind blown by the beautiful and stunning honeymoon suite which had a massive dining and lounge area, huge sparkling clean shower and hug shoe bathtub. There is a sparkling clean pool right outside the suite door too, which made the view fantastic! Breakfast was a delight with staff wanting to help you all the way with whatever you need. Lots to choose from, eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, muffins, pastries, cereal, tea, coffee, juices and fruit. From the time we entered till we left, we were treated with such care and respect! I don't normally take time to write long reviews like this, but this beautiful B&B deserves more than 5 stars!! Thank you for a beautiful and welcoming stay! When we are in KZN again, we will definitely be visiting!"

"Our hosts were the best - nothing was too much.and we had a fantastic 7 days with them. The breakfasts were amazing in a very relaxed setting and the whole place is clean and organized with a lovely pool to cool off in. arguably the best beach on the North Coast is within 300m walking distance. the security at the guesthouse is very good and we felt safe and secure at all times. we will definitely be back to stay again. thank you for making us feel so welcome, see you soon. "When we checked in the room had a terrible musky smell. It seemed to of been water damaged and not properly dried up and cleaned thereafter. We complained to the front desk and were sent to another room with the exact same issue. We complained again and were then sent to a third room but the furniture had water damage, the shower silicone grouting had mould and the toilet didn’t fill up after flushing. Eventually the manager came to us and apologised and arranged for a fourth room which was much better than the first three. One of the nights other guests were drinking and partying till the morning, slamming doors and screaming. The restaurant and bar were extremely quiet and looked extremely dull. The hotel seemed extremely quiet for peak season in an holiday town and now I understand why."

"This is an amazing place. The architecture is modern but not cold because of the intelligent combination of glas, metal and wood. The surroundings are very quiet and green with lots of trees. When you enter the building the view through the large and high windows of the lounge on both the infinity pool and ocean is really breathtaking. The room (a suite) is large and offers the same stunning views. The furniture and decoration give you a homey feeling. Hospitality is not a vain word here. Definitely a place to relax and stay at least two days. "

"We did feel very welcome by the owner. The owner was very helpful when we had some trouble with our car and when my boyfriend was ill. She also recommended some good places to have diner. The room was nice and very clean, we had a great shower and bath in the bathroom. At this guesthouse there are a few rooms, therefore it is quiet over there which we liked. The guesthouse is near the beach, we walked to the beach for a nice morning walk. We also really enjoyed the breakfast. Thank you!"
