"Our group of Hunan friends, all in our sixties and seventies, traveled all the way to Bama. We did some research online beforehand and chose Fengyuqiao Inn, which had the highest ratings. Our stay far exceeded our expectations – we weren't disappointed at all! The owner and the young lady at the front desk were incredibly warm and thoughtful, constantly going above and beyond to look after us. The guesthouse thoughtfully provides a communal kitchen, so we could buy groceries and cook our own meals, saving money and ensuring the food suited our tastes. There are also tables and chairs on the outdoor corridor, perfect for relaxing, chatting, and enjoying the breeze during meals. The guesthouse has an elegant Chinese wooden cabin style, with a tranquil and refined atmosphere. Our rooms were spotlessly clean, and all the amenities were comprehensive. After a long journey, we had accumulated a lot of laundry. The guesthouse's laundry room is equipped with multiple washing machines and dryers, allowing us to wash and dry all our clothes in one go – this solved the biggest challenge for us older travelers. Parking was also very convenient, with free parking spaces both in front and behind the guesthouse. From our room windows, we could see the natural forests of Mujishan, with lush greenery and fresh air rich in negative oxygen ions. We slept soundly and peacefully every night, waking up refreshed. We highly recommend this guesthouse for anyone traveling to Bama or visiting with friends!"

"A group of retired friends chose Yunqi Yage Homestay for a week-long wellness retreat in Bama. The location is excellent, easy to find, nestled at the foot of Mujishan (Mother Hen Mountain) and next to a park. Its distinctive octagonal architecture is quite unique, and opening the window reveals lush green mountains. The air is fresh, ensuring sound and restful sleep. Being in a natural oxygen bar, it's particularly suitable for a health-focused short stay. In the mornings, we'd hike up the mountain together for a panoramic view of the county town; in our free time, a stroll along the riverside embankment of the Longevity River was wonderfully relaxing. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, with elegant decor. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom was fresh and odor-free. The homestay has an elevator, which is very senior-friendly, and ample free parking. The public areas are expansive, with a laundry room and a huge balcony perfect for relaxing, enjoying the view, and drying clothes. There are also tea areas and leisure spaces, where friends can gather for tea and conversation. The owner and front desk staff were warm and attentive, patiently recommending local attractions. Restaurants are not far away, offering authentic hemp seed soup. In the evenings, we'd walk by the river, and hike up to watch the sunrise and sunset. The environment is quiet and livable, with complete amenities, making it a great choice for friends seeking a wellness retreat together. Highly recommended!"

The hotel's parking lot seems a bit small during the peak traffic during the Spring Festival holiday. There is nothing you can do about it in the old city. The hotel security does provide good service and will take your car keys and move you. Time is limited, the vacation is so short, come again when you have the chance!"
