"The innkeeper retains security at the hostel through the night and morning. It really feels safe to know someone is at the compound door. They gave me top floor room which has a great view of old town square and the bridge across the water. The highlight of this property really is being a stone’s throw from Gdansk’s nightlife district. You don’t need to worry about catching the bus."

Amazing
GGuest UserConvenient location. Bus, tram, and train right on your doorstep. Lidl in the basement! Parking in the underground car park is easy, but the €11 price is a bit steep... but it's safe! Awesome breakfast! Highly recommended. The gym is showing its age, not bad, but not good either...
The only real drawback... the ladies who clean the rooms are ”very, very perfunctory.”
Otherwise, highly recommended!
MMartin Anthony MiszerakVery pleasant and comfortable hotel just off the Old Town of Gdansk. The rooms are spacious and very clean. An excellent breakfast is served, but the other meals are less overwhelming. For example, the Ceasar Salad I ordered had actually little in common with what a ceasar ought be. The most irritating experience occurred in the swimming pool. The hotel disposes of a beautiful swinning pool which I love to use. However, wwhen I arrived the first day, the pool was was occupied by some acqua gym group and in effect not available to hotel guests. This is totally inacceptable. The hotel guests must be given priority in the use of the pool!
JJakesyGreat hotel, especially when you consider the price. Just 50 pound a night. With a great location, not to far from the main city, you a merely a 10 minute walk from everything.
When I booked the hotel, i was not expecting to be as satisfied as i was.
A lovely room, with a lovely restaurant and great service.
The only down on the hotel is the lack of amenities, although the gym was great, it could definitely been improved but you can’t complain when you consider the price of the stay.
Very good hotel, will definitely be staying again when in next visit Gdansk.
GGuest UserHistorical building was renovated with modern and industrial decoration. They also keep original objects from the past. Clean, silent and good quality food
MmichgrusekThe hotel is beautifully located. Right by the river, so everything is close. The rooms are beautiful. The service is very nice and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the restaurant. The dishes were very small at very high prices. Plus the waiter service, which the customer only finds out about when paying the bill. Maybe this is standard. I don't know. I just didn't like it, that's why I'm pointing it out.
GGuest UserLocation, room, service, breakfast, price is very satisfied, if it is not a hurry, I would like to stay one more night. Recommended to Gdansk!
GGuest UserExcellent Hotel, friendly staff always on hand. The hotel is located in the center of the old town which if perfect for sightseeing as well as restaurants
GGuest UserOkay location, not really quiet rooms. Lots of running can be heard inside the room. Very small shower, inconsistent water temperature. Toilet seat mounted unreasonably high and uncomfortable. Quite old TV but in a weird position and blocked by the desk light. Very, very, VERY BAD BEDS. It felt like getting skewered in the ribcage! Budget friendly but very outdated hotel and beds like torture tables. Would consider alternatives even if farther.
MMareksXxsS66Rg9I had the pleasure of spending two nights (24-26 October 2025) at the Hotel Olivia and I am generally satisfied with your stay. The room was clean and well-careed, which definitely is on plus. The staff was very nice and helpful, always ready to answer my questions.
The location of the hotel is good, 7.4 km straight from the main PKP station a little too far I think, but the former taxis and city communications it wasn't so terrible
The only downside was the light noise from the sports hall that sometimes disturbed the night, and yet I recommend this hotel for a short stay I will definitely return in the future.
