The hotel is also very close to Devil's Lake State Park, Parfrey's Glen, and Pewit's Nest – all just about a ten-minute drive away."

"This was a charming place to stay for a weekend. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary and wanted something different than the normal hotel. We loved the cozy rooms and the vintage furniture. The period music playing was fun. We really liked sitting in the library at night looking at old circus books. The breakfasts were tasty, especially the lemon ricotta pancakes. We puttered around the Dells and it was an easy drive."

"Overall, the trip is all right. I guess the check-in process was delayed by almost 3 hours which really put a damper on things we were on our schedule. We just waited around the hotel lobby for a bit because our kids wanted to take a nap and did not feel like the waterpark. However, once we did get checked in the water parks were a fun time. Otherwise I really believe that Wyndham should honor their check-in times people run on a schedule and it should not be on the customer to rely on the inadequacies of their own preparation. Water parks are fun. There was a lot of walking. Overall, it would’ve been four if five stars if the check-in process was not delayed, we got the runaround with a couple Of employees and being told no time frame of when we could check in at all."
