"While travelling from Pahalgam to Gulmarg, many taxi drivers stop at ******** and encourage tourists to hire a local union taxi from there. My advice is not to get trapped. The **official Union Taxi Office is in Gulmarg**, where you should check the approved rates before booking any local sightseeing vehicle. You may also be persuaded to visit places around ********, including Drung Waterfall. While it is a pleasant spot, I didn't find it exceptional. If you have plenty of time and don't mind the extra expense, you can visit it; otherwise, I would suggest skipping the ******** sightseeing and spending your time in Gulmarg instead. We stayed at Pine Spring Hotel for two nights, and its location was excellent. The Gondola base station is just a 10-minute walk away, and almost all major attractions, including the 18-hole Golf Course, Strawberry Valley and the Army Museum, are within a 3 km radius. I would recommend booking a package that includes **breakfast and dinner**, as it is convenient and offers better value. The Gulmarg Gondola is the main attraction, so **book your tickets online well in advance**. Try to leave your hotel between **8:00 and 8:30 a.m.** to reach the Gondola early and avoid the long queues that build up later in the day. If your budget permits, book both **Phase 1 and Phase 2**, as the views are spectacular. After the Gondola ride, you can easily hire a local taxi or auto for nearby sightseeing. Don't appear eager to hire one—walk a little or wait patiently, and you'll often receive a much lower fare than the first price quoted. If you're travelling with family or friends and are in the mood for a picnic, carry a small mat or sheet ***** with some snacks and beverages. The meadows around Gondola Phase 1, the area near the Golf Course and Strawberry Valley are perfect places to relax, enjoy the scenery and spend a peaceful afternoon. It turned out to be one of the most enjoyable experiences of our trip. Overall, Pine Spring is an excellent choice because of its location. With the Gondola, Golf Course, Strawberry Valley and other attractions nearby, a **two-night stay is more than sufficient** to enjoy Gulmarg comfortably."

"I was there for 1 night and it was an amazing experience. The staff was really helpful and was there everything. Ashfaq bhai was there and guided us throughout. The food was tasty and delicious. The place is surrounded by snow during the peak winter season and the rooms have heater and are sufficient enough to keep you warm all in all a wonderful experience."
