"My wife and I spent a couple of nights at this fine establishment and really enjoyed our stay. If you are after simple but very comfortable accommodation, this will fulfil your needs. The accommodation's tariff is very affordable and is of a classic 1960s motel style. The motel rooms are situated behind the far more historical pub, constructed, I would guess, in the late 1800s. The pub also provides excellent meals. We ate there on a Saturday night and there was a terrific female solo who seemed to know a few hundred songs. Her performance was loved by the locals which provided a great atmosphere. Service was accompanied by a very genuine smile and we were looked after by a lovely young bloke named Cam."

"Have new management this year. Very helpful & down to earth couple with good people skills particularly for dining recommendations. I was unaware Tocumwal had so much great variety in dining at reasonable prices. Very comfortable beds & a real great pit stop on the Newell Highway to & from QLD."
