"We were very impressed by the front of the house Zara, who engaged with us authentically and assisted with the checking-in process. She showed genuine interest in the customers and provided information appropriately.
The room was compact with all the necessities - I particularly like the space under the bed to put my open suitcase, and the ample options of mirrors.
One thing to complain about is that we could hear loud music from our room early in the morning (6.30-7am), which we suspected coming from the gym classes. Another thing is guests have to pay for parking."

"Room size adequate, if a bit dated . Facilities in room fine and bed comfortable and clean . Very handy for the anvil theatre and shopping centre. Chech in staff helpful."
"The receptionists were welcoming and helpful when our keys were sensitive to being near items in my handbag. Appreciated the free car parking, moderately-spacious clean room and location of the hotel, ~15min walk to the centre if preferred. The carpet was a bit worn."

"I was a little bit disappointed staying at the Apollo hotel when I booked, i booked it for two adults and one child and when I got there there was only a double bed, they told me they would put in a single bed for me whilst I was out and when I got back to the hotel at 8:30pm there still wasn’t a bed they eventually at 10pm gave me a camp bed with springs missing for my four-year-old to sleep on I wasn’t happy, so in the end I ended up sleeping on the floor so my daughter could have the bed with her dad, it’s a real shame to see a hotel that I stayed in when I got married has gone downhill, there was a lot of dirty trays in the corridors on the way to the room, but on entrance of the hotel was beautiful, "
"The overall stay experience is average, the room infrastructure is quite complete, and the bedding is clean. But the biggest problem is that the sound insulation effect is very poor. During the stay, the residents upstairs are very quiet. The sound of walking and dragging furniture can be heard clearly. There is also continuous noise in the middle of the night, which seriously affects the rest and is very unfriendly to people who sleep lightly. If the sound insulation problem can be improved in the future, the experience will be much better."
"Breakfast at the weekend doesn't start until 8.00am. We were playing a Pickleball Tournament on their Acrylic tennis courts and needed to digest our food before running around! The hot items weren't all out which was irritating. Bacon, sausages and eggs were missing. As soon as the eggs arrived they were gone because everyone was queuing. If it says breakfast starts at 8.00, then it should all be available on time! Pools are great, (one specifically for children and one for adults. Sporting facility was excellent. Free parking for hotel guests.
Bedroom was very clean and had everything one needed. No air con, but fan in cupboard. Magnifying mirror, iron & board, hairdryer.
I had to stay at the hotel to continue playing my tournament, but wanted to have a last swim to ease my muscles before driving home in a terrible heatwave. They said check out had been at 11.00am and I would have to pay £10! I thought that was rather steep so declined. There was hardly anyone in the pool and a small kind gesture after paying for 2 nights would have lifted my spirits and given a better impression. The pool was also only open from 8.00am. Far too late if people want a swim before breakfast.
Dogs seem to be allowed at the hotel in the bedrooms. 4 yapping dogs in one room is a bit much. Awful for the cleaners and I put the TV on to mask the noise!
Drinks and food quite expensive. Great Indian in the village!
It was great though being able to stay at the actual venue for the tournament. Cheaper through Trip com than the Tournament offer rate!"
